Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for producing a spunbonded web by pneumatic drawing and depositing of melt-spun filaments, consisting of an overpressure chamber with outlet openings for the filaments, which is connected in a gastight manner to the melt spinning nozzle.
- the diameter of these channels must be chosen to be relatively large in order to enable the piecing process, in which the freshly spun filaments are guided through the outlet openings with the aid of thin wires from the outlet end. This piecing process also prohibits longer channel lengths.
- the object of the present invention is therefore to provide a device which is suitable for curtain spinning, i.e. a row arrangement of the spinneret holes is suitable and facilitates the start-up process.
- the device according to the invention consists of a pressure chamber known per se below the row spinneret, which then tapers slightly conically to a drawing shaft 19 of constant width, which preferably has a length of more than 1 m.
- the opening angle ⁇ of the weakly conical part 10 of the pressure chamber is preferably less than 7 °.
- the air supply to the overpressure chamber is particularly preferably carried out by two horizontally arranged rows of blowing nozzles, consisting of sintered metal bodies, by means of which the air flow is preferably deflected in the direction of the thread.
- the stretching shaft 19 with a constant width preferably contains an expanding end part 13 at its outlet end.
- At least one side of the conical part 10 of the pressure chamber and the drafting shaft 19 is movable.
- the device according to the invention is particularly suitable for curtain spinning systems with a linear arrangement of the spinneret holes over the entire width of the fleece, as described in DE-AS 20 48 006.
- the device according to the invention then also extends over the entire width of the fleece. To start up, one of the two walls of the conical part 10 and the drafting shaft 19 is then folded away or pushed away.
- the hyperbaric chamber is attached directly to the actual spinning system in a manner known per se.
- the air supply 8 to the pressure chamber is arranged at a distance from the surface of the spinneret. The distance is chosen so large that the spinneret surface is no longer affected by the air blown in. For the same reason, a deflection of the flow in the thread running direction is also advantageous.
- Such injection nozzles are state of the art and only have to be adapted to the special design of the spinning system for curtain spinning.
- the opening angle a of the slightly tapered part 10 of the pressure chamber is chosen to be less than 7 ° in order to keep the air flow as steady as possible.
- the subsequent drawing shaft 19 is used for drawing the filaments and, in order to transmit the required drawing forces there, usually has a length of more than 1 m.
- the drafting shaft has a small width so that the free area per filament is approximately one square millimeter. In the nonwoven spinning system according to DE-OS 20 16 860, the free area in the channels is approximately 20 to 50 mm 2 .
- a starting aid which, according to the invention, consists in that a longitudinal wall 12 of the drafting shaft 19 can be moved away. Depending on the spatial conditions, the longitudinal wall can be folded away or pushed sideways or lengthways. Special care must be taken to ensure that the closed shaft is properly sealed, since the thread curtain is sensitive to air swirls etc.
- the overpressure in the chamber can be chosen to be much lower than the air pressure in an injector nozzle according to the prior art, for example according to the German laid-open specification 20 48 006. An overpressure of only 0.4 bar proved to be sufficient in the spinning installation shown in the example .
- the small cross-sectional area of the thread curtain also requires only a small area of the filing belt that is extracted.
- the air extracted there can be reused as stretching air after single or multi-stage compression.
- the present invention thus combines the advantages of the spunbonded nonwoven system with a pressure chamber, i.e. the low air consumption and the good uniformity of the thread curtain over the width of the system with the advantages of spinning systems, which lead to a high orientation of the filaments through injector nozzles and drawing tubes.
- FIG. 2 shows a section through the entire device for producing a spunbonded nonwoven.
- the horizontal cross sections through the upper part 5 and the tapered part 10 of the pressure vessel and through the shaft 19 are each rectangles, the length of which depends on the width of the nonwoven web to be produced.
- FIG. 3 shows an enlarged detail of FIG. 2, namely the transition from the tapering part of the pressure vessel to the shaft 19.
- the starting position of the hydraulically movable shaft wall 12 is shown with dash-dotted lines.
- a parallel displacement of part 12 from the closed position shown by solid lines by about 30 mm is sufficient for the threads to fall unimpeded onto the deposit belt 16 when spinning through the shaft 19 thus expanded.
- a spunbonded nonwoven made of polyethylene terephthalate was produced using a device according to FIG.
- the sliding wall 12 was moved 30 mm to the right. Only then were the spinning pumps switched on and the spun threads 9 fell easily onto the screen belt 16. The suction 18 and the running screen belt 16 ensured that the threads 9 were transported continuously. Only after the wall 12 had been closed did the pressure vessel reach a constant overpressure brought from 0.4 bar.
- the air supplied at 8 was constantly regulated at 35 ° C and a dew point of 20 ° C.
- the air speed immediately after the sintered metal bodies 7 was measured at 0.3 m / s.
- the total area of the sintered metal body 7 was 0.6 m 2.
- the width of the pressure vessel and the shaft (not shown in the drawing) was chosen to be 1.2 m so that the ends of the 104 cm wide thread curtain could not be impaired by edge effects of the flow in the shaft 19 . Threads with the following properties were thus spun:
- the screen belt 16 had a speed of 76 m / min.
- the suction 18 was set so that a vertical air flow of 4 m / s was generated in the storage area directly above the screen belt. Under these conditions an approximately 1 m wide fleece with a basis weight of 50 g / m 2 was obtained. Pre-consolidation was still achieved on the deposit belt by means of the heated roller 14 (190 ° C.) and the support roller 15. The uniformity of the nonwoven web produced was characterized by a coefficient of variation of the basis weight of 6% and was therefore very good. The diameter of the round measuring spot was 30 mm.
Abstract
Description
- L1 = 500 mm; L2 = 1500 mm; L3 = 1500 mm;
- lichte Weite des Druckbehälters 5 oben: 200 mm;
