Die Verbindungsmittel sind in bekannter Weise so ausgebildet, daß die Montage der Farbbandkassette 1 auf die Aufnahmeplatte 4 bequem mittels einer Hand vorgenommen werden kann. In dem wannenförmigen Bodenteil 2 sind gemäß Figur 1 eine Vorratsspule 5 und eine Aufwickelspule 6 für ein Farbband 7 drehbar gelagert. Die Vorratsspule 5 ist um eine ortsfeste Achse 8 drehbar, während die Aufwickelspule 6 auf eine Achse 9 drehbar gelagert ist, die auf eine abgefederten und koaxial um die Achse 8 schwenkbaren Lager .ebel 10 fest angeordnet ist. Der Außenwickel 11 der Aufwickelspule 6 steht mit einer Verzahnung 12 eines antreibbaren Stachelrades 13 im Eingriff, derart, daß bei einer Drehung des Stachelrades 13 um eine Achse 14 in Pfeilrichtung 15 die Aufwickelspule 6 formschlüssig mitnehmbar ist. Das Farbband 7 verläuft durch eine Austrittsöffnung 18 und eine Eintrittsöffnung 19 in einer Seitenwand außerhalb der Farbbandkassette 1, wobei die Austritts- 18 und die Eintrittsöffnung 19 in mit dem Bodenteil 2 fest verbundenen Führungsarmen 20, 21 angeordnet sind. Die erfindungsgemäße Farbbandkassette 1 zeichnet sich dadurch aus, daß das Gehäuse der Farbbandkassette 1 gleichzeitig als Verpackung dient. Die zum Betrieb der Kassette 1 in der Maschine zu öffnenden Öffnungen werden durch Entfernen des Abdeckungsteils 22 auf einfachste Weise freigegeben. Hierbei wird auch eine Öffnung 32 in dem Stachelrad 13 zum Einschieben eines Antriebsdornes 33 in der Aufnahmeplatte 4 freigegeben. Dieser Antriebsdorn 33 weist Schneiden 34, 35 auf, die mit einem elastisch verformbaren Ring 36 in dem Stachelrad 13 formschlüssig kuppelbar sind, siehe Figur 4. Hierdurch wird eine sichere Kupplung des Stachelrades 13 mit dem durch einen Schrittmotor antreibbaren Antriebsdorn 33 stets gewährleistet. Das Entfernen bzw. Abtrennen des Abdeckungsteils 22 von der Farbbandkassette 1 wird durch einen durch Finger erfaßbaren Lappen 37 erleichtert. Das freie Ende dieses Lappens 37 steht gemäß Figur 2 gegenüber der Unterseite 27 der Farbbandkassette 1 etwas vor, derart, daß der Lappen 37 durch Finger leicht erfaßbar ist. Farbbandkassette für Schreib- oder ähnliche Büromaschinen, bei der das Farbband außerhalb der Kassette durch eine Austritts- und Eintrittsöffnung in der Seitenwand verläuft und ein Antriebsrad in der Kassette drehbar gelagert ist und das Antriebsrad durch eine Öffnung in der Kassette mit einem in einer Kassenttenaufnahmevorrichtung der Maschine angeordnetes Antriebselement beim Einsetzen kuppelbar ist, gekennzeichnet durch ein die Öffnungen (23, 32) in der Kassette (1) zum Transport und für die Lagerung dicht abschließendes und vor dem Einsetzen in die Aufnahmevorrichtung (4) entfernbares Abdeckungsteil (22).1. Verbindungsflächen (28, 29) für das Abdeckungsteil (22) aufweist.6.
