Zum Abschneiden eines Coupons werden zunächst die Schwenkarme 9 der Abrollstation 20 in die in Fig. 2 dargestellte abgesenkte Lage gebracht. Nun kann von der Bedienungsseite der Maschine die Stoffrolle 16 aufgelegt werden. Wenn die Abrollstation 20 in die obere Arbeitsstellung geschwenkt ist, werden die Antrieb- und Tragwalzen 13, 14 in Drehung versetzt, so dass die Stoffbahn 8 abgerollt wird. Sie läuft um einen Umlenkstab 28 über den Kontrolltisch 5 und kann dort kontrolliert werden, wobei zweckmässig der Kontrolltisch 5 als Mattscheibe mit einer dahinterliegenden Lichtquelle ausgebildet ist. Erreicht die Stoffbahn 8 den Schneidschlitz 6, beginnt die Messung des abzuschneidenden Coupons. Die Messung selbst erfolgt indirekt durch ein auf den Antrieb- und Tragwalzen 13, 14 aufgesetztes Messrad 29. Die Stoffbahn 8 wird in der Aufrollstation 21 auf eine Hülse gewickelt, was mit Hilfe der Antrieb- und Tragwalzen 22, 23 in einfacher Weise ermöglicht wird. Ein zusätzliches Befestigen des Couponganfangs auf der Hülse ist nicht erforderlich. Da die Antrieb- und Tragwalzen beider Stationen 20, 21 angetrieben werden, kann durch Einstellen einer etwas unterschiedlichen Drehzahl das Spannen der Stoffbahn 8 erreicht werden, wodurch eine saubere Aufwicklung in der Aufrollstation gewährleistet ist. Nach Abrollen der gewünschten Couponlänge wird die Stoffbahn 8 angehalten und der Coupon von der Stoffbahn 8 mit der Abschneidevo,rrichtung 7 abgeschnitten. Der Abschneidvorgang kann bei Stoffen, die rechtwinklig geschnitten werden dürfen automatisiert werden. Die manuelle Bedienung der Abschneidevorrichtung 7 kommt vor allem beim Zuschnitt von Dekorstoffen in Frage. Anschliessend wird der Coupon in der Aufrollstation 21 auf die Hülse fertiggerollt, während die bei dem Schneidschlitz 6 angehaltene Stoffbahn 8 für das Schneiden weiterer Coupons benützt werden kann. Ist der Zuschnitt beendet, wird das Ende der Stoffbahn 8 durch entsprechende Drehrichtungsänderung in der Abrollstation 21 aufgerollt, worauf die Station abgesenkt und die Stoffrolle 16 leight von den Antrieb- und Tragwalzen 13, 14 abgehoben werden kann.To cut off a coupon, the swivel arms 9 of the unwinding station 20 are first brought into the lowered position shown in FIG. 2. Das Entladen einer Stoffrolle 16 aus der Abrollstation 20 kan in gleich einfacher Weise durchgeführt werden wie das Beladen. Hierbei soll trotz des Schwenkens der Schwenkarme 9 die Lage der Achsen 15 der Walzen 13, 14 in einer Horizontalebene bleiben. Dies kann dadurch erreicht werden, dass die Lagerplatten 11 durch einen in einem der Schwenkarme 9 untergebrachten weiteren Hülltrieb in entgegengesetzer Richtung als die Schwenkarme 9 geschwenkt werden. Claims (6)

Material inspection and cutting machine for unrolling a web of material from a roll of material (16) and for checking and cutting as well as for rolling the same up again, wherein the roll of material is present in an unrolling station (20) and can be unrolled across an obliquely lying checking table (5) equipped with a cutting device characterised in that the unrolling station (20) is lowerable on swing arms (9) mounted swingably in the machine frame (1) from the operational position lying over the checking table (5) into the loading and unloading position.

Machine according to claim 1 characterised in that a rolling-up station (21) is arranged relative to the unrolling station (20), wherein both stations have two parallel arranged motor driven rolls (13, 14; 22, 23) which simultaneously serve as a mounting for the roll of material to be unrolled and for the roll of material to be rolled up.
3. Machine according to claim 2, characterised in that the rolling-up station (21) is mounted in a movable frame (24) which can be moved by means of a motor drive parallel to the axis of the drive and carrier rolls (22, 23).
4. Machine according to claim 2 characterised in that the drives of the drive and carrier rolls (13, 14; 22, 23) are constructed with controllable forward and reverse movement whereby according to choice the rolls of one station can be adjusted with leading or lagging speed with respect to the other station.
5. Machine according to claim 1 characterised in that the checking table (5) arranged in the machine frame 2, 3 inclined at approximately 45° is provided with an illuminable matt face.
6. Machine according to claim 1 characterised in that the length of the web of material to be cut off and the number of webs of material to be cut off can be pre-selected.
