Definitions
- the invention relates to a cleaning device for dry vacuuming, wet vacuuming and / or for spray extraction with a suction unit, a dirt-collecting container connected to its suction side via a suction line, into which a suction line opens, and with a feed pump, the suction side via a delivery line with a cleaning liquid container and is connected to a spray line on the pressure side.
- Cleaning devices of this type are already being used in particular in the commercial cleaning sector, but these are complicated and large devices which are unsuitable for use in the household sector. In particular, it is not readily possible in the known devices to switch the devices between the individual operating modes in the simplest manner.
- the object of the invention is therefore to improve a cleaning device of the generic type in such a way that its construction is as simple as possible and at the same time in the simplest manner enables the transition from one operating mode to the other.
- a cleaning device of the type described in the introduction in that the suction unit and the feed pump are arranged in a housing which has connections with openings for the suction line, for the suction line and for the delivery line, these lines in the housing up to these openings lead that the removable dirt-collecting container and the also removable cleaning liquid container are arranged next to the housing in such a way that openings on the connections of the containers, which are followed by continuations of the suction line, the suction line or the delivery line, are aligned with the corresponding openings of the housing , and that the containers are so stretched against the connections of the housing that the corresponding openings of the housing and the container are sealed against each other.
- this device comprises a housing with the functionally essential operating parts, in particular the suction unit and the feed pump for the cleaning liquid and all electrical switching elements, next to which two removable containers are arranged, which are used for Production of the necessary line connections are simply clamped against corresponding connections of the housing.
- the dirt particles sucked in via the suction line are collected in one of the containers, as in a conventional vacuum cleaner, and the cleaning liquid is made available in the other container during spray extraction operation.
- the Be User can remove both containers from the device in the simplest way, with no connections having to be loosened or subsequently restored, since these line connections between the containers and the lines routed in the housing are automatically established by the devices exciting the housing against the housing.
- the openings on the housing side are arranged in a side wall of the housing and if the corresponding openings of the containers are located in their side walls. In such a configuration, the containers are clamped with their side walls against the side walls of the housing, and the necessary operative connection is thereby already established.
- the openings are surrounded on one part by an annular seal and if a sealing surface which is in contact with this annular seal is provided on the other part. This ensures a perfect seal between the lines in the housing and their continuations in the containers.
- a pivotable handle is mounted on the containers, which projects from the container in a first position as a handle and is placed flat on the container in a second position, and that the handle carries a tensioning element which in the second position engages behind a projection on the housing and thereby clamps the container against the connections of the housing, while in the first position it is removed from the projection.
- This handle therefore has a double function, since it serves on the one hand to carry the removed container and on the other hand simultaneously forms the tensioning device with which the container is clamped against the housing.
- the tensioning element and the projection cooperate along an inclined contact surface in such a way that the force exciting the container against the connections of the housing is increasingly increased when the handle is pivoted into the second position.
- the pressing force of the container against the housing can be increased by the pivoting movement of the handle.
- the tension of the strap handle is preferably mounted so that it is pivoted to its second position via a T odyak, so that an automatic pivoting back is not possible.
- the handle rests in the second position on a lid of the container and presses it against the top of the container, and if the stretcher grabbed the lid in the first position releases.
- the handle has another function, namely that of fixing the lid to the respective container. The user can swivel the handle upwards to remove the container, which inevitably releases the container from its operative connection with the lines in the housing, the lid is removable and the handle is available for carrying. Conversely, it is sufficient for the insertion of the container to hang on these a lid and then convert pivot the handle in the second position, thereby the lid is fixed, and the W irktheticen be prepared with the conduits in the housing.
- the handle does not interfere in the folded, second position, since it lies flat against the lid, preferably in a corresponding recess in the lid, which receives the folded handle.
- the openings and the adjoining pipe sections of the containers are arranged on an insert which can be inserted from above into a recess in a side wall of the container.
- an insert which can be inserted from above into a recess in a side wall of the container.
- inserts can be displaceable in a sliding guide in the side wall of the container, which is designed, for example, as a tongue and groove fit.
- the insert is fixed in its inserted position by the closed lid of the container.
- the pivoted carrying handle which fixes the lid in its closed position, also indirectly has the task of fixing the inserts in the side wall of the respective container.
- the containers have a rectangular cross section and are arranged next to one another, with their two side surfaces running perpendicular to the abutting contact surfaces lying against the housing. This results in a particularly compact structure of the overall system, which can no longer be seen in the assembled state from a housing and two individual containers.
- the containers can taper downwards, which makes emptying easier.
- the containers stand on a storage surface connected to the housing, which has a peripheral edge which projects upwards above the storage surface.
- this shelf acts as a drip catcher, which catches any drops running down the container and thereby prevents them from reaching the bottom.
- the cleaning device shown in the drawing has a base plate 2 provided with rollers 1, on which a housing 3 is placed on one side of the device, while the part of the base plate 2 lying next to the housing 3 has an edge 4 protruding from the top of the base plate is formed so that this part of the base plate 2 acts as a drip trap.
- the housing 3 there are a suction unit 5 and a feed pump 6 for a cleaning liquid, furthermore control means for the suction unit and the feed pump, which cannot be seen from the drawing.
- connection 7 for a suction hose 8 and a connection 9 for a cleaning liquid spray line 10 are provided.
- the suction hose 8 and the spray line 10 are detachably connected to these connections.
- connection 7 is connected via a line piece 11 in the interior of the housing to an opening 12 in the side wall 13 of the housing, which is adjacent to the free part of the base plate 2.
- the connection 9 is connected to the pressure side of the feed pump 6. On the suction side, this feed pump 6 is connected to a further opening 14 in the side wall 13.
- suction line 15 connected to the suction side of the suction unit 5 leads to a further opening 16 in the side wall 13.
- the exhaust air is discharged from the suction unit 5 to the environment through lateral slots 17 in the housing.
- the controls for the feed pump and the suction unit are arranged on the top 18 of the housing; there is also a pushing and carrying handle 19 for the entire device.
- two containers 20 and 21 can be placed next to one another on the free part of the base plate 2, both of which have a rectangular cross section.
- the adjacent side walls 22 and 23 of the two containers and the opposite side walls 24 and 25 are arranged parallel to each other, the perpendicular side walls 26 and 27 or 28 and 29 run obliquely towards each other from top to bottom, so that the containers taper downwards.
- the side walls 27 and 29 adjacent to the housing run parallel to the side wall 13 of the housing at a short distance from this side wall.
- Rectangular recesses 30 are machined into the side walls 27 and 29 facing the side wall 13, into which slots 31 and 32 can be inserted from above.
- these inserts have a groove 33 running along their edge, into which the side wall 27 or 29 engages.
- the vertical parts of this groove 33 form a sliding guide for the inserts, so that they can be used in the simplest way.
- the insert 31 is intended for the cleaning liquid container and has an opening 34, which is followed by a pipe section 35 leading inwards to the bottom of the container.
- the insert 32 is intended for the dirt-collecting container, it has two openings 36 and 37, whereby the First opening 36 connects a horizontal pipe piece 38, over which a dust bag 39 can be pulled. At the other opening 37 there is also a horizontal pipe section 40 which is covered by a pleated filter 41 at its open end.
- the openings 34, 36 and 37 are arranged such that they are aligned with the openings 14, 12 and 16, respectively, when containers are placed on the base plate 2.
- ring grooves 42 surrounding openings 12 and 16 are incorporated into side wall 13, into which elastic ring seals 43 are inserted, which partially protrude from ring grooves 42.
- the insert 32 In its area surrounding the openings 36 and 37, the insert 32 has flat sealing surfaces 44 which are pressed against the ring seals and thus bear against them in a sealing manner.
- each container is provided with a U-shaped carrying handle 45 which can be pivoted about a horizontal axis and which carries hook-shaped clamping elements 47 on its side of the axis of rotation facing away from a handle 46.
- the handle 45 In a first position, in which the handle 45 protrudes vertically upwards from the container, it can be used as a handle for the respective container, the tensioning elements 47 stand down and have no effect.
- the clamping elements 47 engage in a transverse groove 48 at the upper end of the side wall 13 of the housing 3 and engage behind on the upper edge of the transverse groove 48 arranged, protruding downward, strip-shaped projection 49.
- the contact surface of the clamping elements 47 and the projection 49 are formed obliquely so that when the handle 45 is pivoted into the second, lying position of the container, the container 3 is increasingly tightened so that This tension on the one hand fixes the container in position on the device, while on the other hand the sealing surfaces 44 are pressed sealingly against the ring seals 43 on the housing.
- the carrying handle 45 In its second position, the carrying handle 45 lies against the top of a lid 50 closing the container, preferably in a recess 51 of the same which is specially designed to hold the carrying handle.
- the lid 50 is fixed on the top of the container, so that the container is also tightly closed on its top. If the pivoting handle is pivoted into its first, upwardly projecting position, the lid 50 can easily be removed from the container.
- the lid presses the respective insert 31 or 32 into the associated recess 30 in the closed state and fixes the insert in this position.
- the groove 33 of the inserts 31 and 32 are an elastic seal, not shown in the drawing, which sealingly presses against the side walls 27 and 29 when the inserts are pressed in.
- the handle has a multiple function. It serves to carry the container in the swung-out state, it tensions the container against the housing in the lying state and thus creates tight connections between the individual lines of the housing and the container, but it also secures the lid in the closed position and thus presses indirectly insert the slots into the recesses in the containers.
- the user can set the container placed on the base plate 2 there by simply pivoting this handle and connect it ready for all work functions without any further manipulation being necessary. Conversely, all of these connections can be released by simply pivoting the handle into the first position, in which case the handle can be used immediately to remove the container. This removal of the container is further supported by a pocket-shaped indentation 52 in the side walls 26 and 28.
- the container 22 acts like a conventional dirt collecting container that becomes dirt either caught in the dust bag 39 or directly in the container 22 if such a dust bag is not present, for example during wet suction.
- the container 21 is filled with cleaning liquid, the parts previously stored in it, for example the spray line and a spray nozzle, are attached to the suction hose 8 and to a suction head, not shown in the drawing.
- cleaning liquid is conveyed from the container 21 via the spray line against the surface to be cleaned, from there it is conveyed via the suction line together with the loosened dirt into the container 22, in which the dirty cleaning liquid is collected.
- the containers can be removed from the cleaning device in the simplest manner, it then also being advantageous to remove the inserts from the side walls so that, on the one hand, the emptying or cleaning of the containers is simplified and, on the other hand, by the line pieces in the container 22 to be able to clean the filters or replace the dust bag.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a cleaning device for dry vacuuming, wet vacuuming and / or for spray extraction with a suction unit, a dirt-collecting container connected to its suction side via a suction line, into which a suction line opens, and with a feed pump, the suction side via a delivery line with a cleaning liquid container and is connected to a spray line on the pressure side.
Cleaning devices of this type are already being used in particular in the commercial cleaning sector, but these are complicated and large devices which are unsuitable for use in the household sector. In particular, it is not readily possible in the known devices to switch the devices between the individual operating modes in the simplest manner.
The object of the invention is therefore to improve a cleaning device of the generic type in such a way that its construction is as simple as possible and at the same time in the simplest manner enables the transition from one operating mode to the other.
This object is achieved with a cleaning device of the type described in the introduction in that the suction unit and the feed pump are arranged in a housing which has connections with openings for the suction line, for the suction line and for the delivery line, these lines in the housing up to these openings lead that the removable dirt-collecting container and the also removable cleaning liquid container are arranged next to the housing in such a way that openings on the connections of the containers, which are followed by continuations of the suction line, the suction line or the delivery line, are aligned with the corresponding openings of the housing , and that the containers are so stretched against the connections of the housing that the corresponding openings of the housing and the container are sealed against each other.
This results in a compact design of such a device, since this device comprises a housing with the functionally essential operating parts, in particular the suction unit and the feed pump for the cleaning liquid and all electrical switching elements, next to which two removable containers are arranged, which are used for Production of the necessary line connections are simply clamped against corresponding connections of the housing. The dirt particles sucked in via the suction line are collected in one of the containers, as in a conventional vacuum cleaner, and the cleaning liquid is made available in the other container during spray extraction operation. The Be User can remove both containers from the device in the simplest way, with no connections having to be loosened or subsequently restored, since these line connections between the containers and the lines routed in the housing are automatically established by the devices exciting the housing against the housing. The user therefore does not have to make any modifications when changing to another type of use, it is sufficient if he actuates the corresponding switches on the housing and, in the case of spray extraction operation, provides appropriate cleaning fluid in the container intended for this purpose. The filling of this container with cleaning liquid and vice versa, the emptying of the dirt collecting container is extremely easy to do, it is sufficient to loosen the clamping device, then the container can be removed from the housing.
It is particularly advantageous if the openings on the housing side are arranged in a side wall of the housing and if the corresponding openings of the containers are located in their side walls. In such a configuration, the containers are clamped with their side walls against the side walls of the housing, and the necessary operative connection is thereby already established.
It is furthermore advantageous if the openings are surrounded on one part by an annular seal and if a sealing surface which is in contact with this annular seal is provided on the other part. This ensures a perfect seal between the lines in the housing and their continuations in the containers.
In a preferred embodiment it is provided that a pivotable handle is mounted on the containers, which projects from the container in a first position as a handle and is placed flat on the container in a second position, and that the handle carries a tensioning element which in the second position engages behind a projection on the housing and thereby clamps the container against the connections of the housing, while in the first position it is removed from the projection. This handle therefore has a double function, since it serves on the one hand to carry the removed container and on the other hand simultaneously forms the tensioning device with which the container is clamped against the housing.
It is advantageous if the tensioning element and the projection cooperate along an inclined contact surface in such a way that the force exciting the container against the connections of the housing is increasingly increased when the handle is pivoted into the second position. As a result, the pressing force of the container against the housing can be increased by the pivoting movement of the handle. In order to keep the tension of the strap handle is preferably mounted so that it is pivoted to its second position via a T odpunkt, so that an automatic pivoting back is not possible. However, it is also possible to provide a fixation for the handle in the second position, for example the handle can snap resiliently into a catch.
It is also advantageous if the handle rests in the second position on a lid of the container and presses it against the top of the container, and if the stretcher grabbed the lid in the first position releases. As a result, the handle has another function, namely that of fixing the lid to the respective container. The user can swivel the handle upwards to remove the container, which inevitably releases the container from its operative connection with the lines in the housing, the lid is removable and the handle is available for carrying. Conversely, it is sufficient for the insertion of the container to hang on these a lid and then convert pivot the handle in the second position, thereby the lid is fixed, and the W irkverbindungen be prepared with the conduits in the housing. In addition, the handle does not interfere in the folded, second position, since it lies flat against the lid, preferably in a corresponding recess in the lid, which receives the folded handle.
In a further preferred embodiment it is provided that the openings and the adjoining pipe sections of the containers are arranged on an insert which can be inserted from above into a recess in a side wall of the container. As a result, it is possible in a particularly simple manner to remove the line continuations from the container, for example in order to empty or clean it. In addition, the two containers of the device can be constructed in the same way; their special adaptation as a dirt trap or cleaning liquid container is only experienced by inserting the respective insert.
These inserts can be displaceable in a sliding guide in the side wall of the container, which is designed, for example, as a tongue and groove fit.
It is advantageous if the insert is fixed in its inserted position by the closed lid of the container. As a result, the pivoted carrying handle, which fixes the lid in its closed position, also indirectly has the task of fixing the inserts in the side wall of the respective container.
It is advantageous if the containers have a rectangular cross section and are arranged next to one another, with their two side surfaces running perpendicular to the abutting contact surfaces lying against the housing. This results in a particularly compact structure of the overall system, which can no longer be seen in the assembled state from a housing and two individual containers.
The containers can taper downwards, which makes emptying easier.
In a further preferred embodiment it is provided that the containers stand on a storage surface connected to the housing, which has a peripheral edge which projects upwards above the storage surface. As a result, this shelf acts as a drip catcher, which catches any drops running down the container and thereby prevents them from reaching the bottom.

The
Likewise, the
The controls for the feed pump and the suction unit are arranged on the
In addition to the
The
While the two containers are completely identical, the two
The
The
In order to generate the corresponding contact pressure, each container is provided with a U-shaped carrying handle 45 which can be pivoted about a horizontal axis and which carries hook-shaped
However, if the carrying
In its second position, the carrying
29 anlieat. The lid, in turn, presses the
In this way, the handle has a multiple function. It serves to carry the container in the swung-out state, it tensions the container against the housing in the lying state and thus creates tight connections between the individual lines of the housing and the container, but it also secures the lid in the closed position and thus presses indirectly insert the slots into the recesses in the containers.
The user can set the container placed on the
During normal operation of the device as a dry vacuum cleaner, only the
If spray extraction operation is desired, the
