Definitions
- the invention relates to a folding box according to the preamble of claim 1.
- a folding box according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the pouring spout consists of a pouring flap cut out of the folding box wall on three sides, on the inside of which a U-shaped molded part is fastened, which forms the side walls of the cap, which on the edges are cut out of the pouring flap protrude into the folding box and are pulled out of the folding box when the pouring flap is unfolded.
- the molded part also replaces the pouring flap, wherein it is fastened by means of clip-shaped fastening elements in the relevant carton wall, which at the same time form the joint of the pouring spout.
- the known designs have the defect that the folding box is composed of several parts which complicate the folding box and make production more difficult and expensive.
- the invention has for its object to design a folding box of the type mentioned in such a way that it can be manufactured more simply and inexpensively.
- measures are proposed which facilitate handling when opening and closing the filling nozzle and / or when pouring out the filling material.
- the flap side wall and the means for limiting the unfolding movement are also part of the folding box blank.
- This configuration enables the individual. Attach the elements of the filler to the folding box blank in one piece and simultaneously form the filler with the folding of the folding box blank without additional parts of the filler being required.
- This also applies to the presence of a locking lug according to claim 2, the purpose of which is to limit the unfolding movement of the pouring spout.
- a problem with a folding box of the known type is that the part of the flap side wall protruding into the interior of the folding box is not guided. There is therefore a risk, depending on the consistency of the contents, the flap side wall is damaged or bent, z. B. in a position in which it affects the pour opening. In such a case, the pouring out of the filling material is impaired, at least in a pouring spout slightly opened for the metered addition. In addition, damage to the flap side wall or the locking attachment arranged thereon inevitably leads to malfunctions of the pouring flap. These deficiencies can be avoided by at least partially guiding the flap side wall or the locking projection - (claims 3 and 4). The guidance ensures that the guided part is kept straight.
- the flap side wall is arranged on the inside of the adjacent, transverse folding box wall. This gives the flap side wall a lateral support, both in the presence and in the absence of an inner lining, for. B. in the form of a bag receiving the contents. If an inner lining is present, the flap side wall is guided between the inner lining and the adjacent folding box wall. In the absence of an inner liner, guiding is ensured due to the side pressure that the filling material exerts on the flap side wall and presses it against the adjacent folding box wall. In both cases, due to the existing friction, there is a certain locking function, which contributes to the dump flap remaining in the respectively set position.
- the features contained in claim 6 improve the adaptability of the flap side wall in that the extension strip can pivot relative to the flap side wall and thus can adapt to the guide or the adjacent folding box wall. This is particularly important in the case of a pouring spout that can be folded around a pivot axis that is not at right angles to the guide or to the adjacent side of the folding box.
- the inside guidance of the flap side wall is independent of the presence of an inner lining or filling material.
- the guide strip according to the invention can both be a separate guide part which is attached to the guide also involved folding box wall attached, in particular glued (claim 8), or it can also be a guiding part starting from the folding box blank, as described in claims 9 to 19.
- the guide parts are integral parts of the folding box blank.
- the guidance can be realized both by deep embossed sections, in which the guided part surrounds, and by folded sections. In the first case, it is also possible within the scope of the invention to provide the deeply embossed section on the guided part, namely the flap side wall or the locking projection.
- the claim 16 includes an embodiment in which a mechanism is integrated in the guide, due to which the pouring spout is elastically acted upon and thus held from a central position both in the direction of the closure part and the open position.
- the guide features described in claim 20 can be realized both in such an arrangement in which the flap side wall projects freely into the interior of the folding box and in a previously described arrangement in which the flap side wall is supported on the outside on the adjacent folding box wall.
- the embodiment according to claim 21 is to be used in such cases in which the flap side wall is cut out of the folding box wall which contains the pouring flap.
- the opening creates an opening which is covered by the outer wall.
- the opening of the filler flap is ensured by an opening in the outer wall through which the filler flap can be swung out.
- an opening which can be torn open can also be provided, the opening of which is weakened by perfusion or the like.
- the opening is glued to the pouring flap, so that when the opening is partially torn and at the same time pivoted, the opening of the opening flap is also pivoted out.
- the opening that can be torn open is to be dimensioned so large that the pouring flap fits through.
- the pull-out cutout is preferably dimensioned somewhat longer than the pouring flap, so that the free end of the pull-out cutout forms a stop in the closed position which limits the closed position of the pouring flap.
- an end section as the wall part containing the pouring flap is required in order to be able to attach the extensions according to the invention in one piece.
- both triangular and square-shaped pouring flaps can be realized.
- material can be saved and the guiding problem is reduced due to the fact that only one flap side wall is present.
- flap side walls of the bulk flaps can be advantageous for handling reasons or also for functional reasons, e.g. B. when the folding box is to be kept in a special position due to the limited space when spilling.
- the embodiment according to claim 36 makes it possible to cut out both the pouring flap and at least one flap side wall from the wall part containing the pouring flap, it possibly also being possible to use the wall part as an adhesive strip.
- the design according to claim 37 results in a small projection at the free end of the tearable cutout, by which the handling when tearing is facilitated because the free end can be easily attacked.
- the additional adhesive strip section can also form a first and second extension in the sense of claims 5 to 19.
- the embodiment of the invention can also be used in conjunction with a z. B. use inner lining formed by an inner bag, which advantageously contributes to guiding the at least one flap side wall in a configuration according to claim 5.
- the invention is implemented on a rectangular folding box 1 with a wide front wall 2 and wide rear wall 3, narrow side walls 4, 5, a box bottom 6 and a box dec kel 7.
- the vertical edges of the folding box 1 are labeled 9 to 12 and the horizontal edges on the box lid 7 are labeled 13 to 16, the edges 13 and 15 being short edges, while the edges 14 and 16 are long edges.
- the folding box 1 has in the usual way an adhesive strip 17 which extends from the rear wall 3 below the side wall 4 and is glued to the side wall 4.
- the box bottom 6 and the box lid 7 are formed in the usual way by lid and dust flaps 18, 19 which are connected to the respective box walls along the horizontal edges.
- the box blank is weakened along the vertical box edges 9 to 12 by fold lines 21 to 24 and along the horizontal box edges 13 to 16 by fold lines 25, 26 to facilitate folding of the blank.
- the folding box 1 has on its visible side wall 4 in the upper region a pouring spout 25 which, as can best be seen from FIG. 4, consists of a pouring flap 26 with a flap side wall 27 and a tearable cutout 28 in the visible side wall 4.
- the pouring spout 25 can be pivoted out about a pivot axis generally designated 31, whereby a pouring opening 32 having a triangular cross section is formed, which is delimited by the pouring flap 26, the flap side wall 27 and the pouring opening edge designated 33.
- the pivoting out can be easily achieved because the pouring flap 26 along the pouring opening edge 33 by a dividing line 34 and along the pivot axis 31 by a joint line 35 and the cutout 28 along the pouring opening edge 33 by a perforation 36 and along the pivot axis 31 also by means of a joint line 37 are prepared.
- the cutout 28 is separated by a dividing line along the vertical edge of the box 10 or the fold line 21.
- the swiveling out of the pouring flap 26 can thus be achieved by a simple handle, the flap side wall 27, which extends on the inside of the front wall 2 and is in contact with it by material tension, being partially pulled out.
- the flap side wall 27 represents a first extension 39 of the adhesive strip 17, which is cut out from a second extension 41 to form cutouts 42, 43 and dividing lines 44, 45. Both extensions 39, 41 are connected along a fold line 46 to the adhesive strips 17 and angled about this fold line 46, wherein they extend along the inside of the front wall 2.
- the second extension 41 has a wall section 47 which is deeply embossed in the direction of the interior space of the folding box 1 by a dimension which is preferably larger than the thickness of the blank. This creates a guide, generally designated 48, between the wall section 47 and the front wall 2 for a locking projection 49 of the flap side wall 27, into which the locking projection 49 slides when the pouring spout 25 is pivoted out.
- the locking projection 49 is a projection projecting radially with respect to the swivel axis 31 on the flap side wall 27 or on an extension strip 51 of the flap side wall 27, which extends along this with a fold or.
- Joint line 51 is connected.
- the hinge line 52 intersects the fold line 46 and the pivot axis 31 in a common intersection 53.
- the purpose of the guide 48 is to ensure that the flap side wall 27 essentially maintains its position on the inside of the front wall 2 and does not protrude into the interior of the folding box 1. In the closed position of the pouring spout 25, the flap side wall 27 is not positively guided, but because of the material tension present in the box, the flap side wall 27 is in contact with the front wall 2 due to the bending.
- the extension strip 51 of the flap side wall 27 is due to its connection to the flap side wall 27 through the hinge line 52 flat against the front wall 2, although the flap side wall 27 lifts slightly from the inside of the front wall 2 due to the inclined pivot axis due to the inclined pivot axis.
- the embodiment described above is suitable for folding boxes 1 both without and with an inner lining, not shown, for. B. in the form of a bag to hold the contents of the box.
- the flap side wall 27 extends between the box fold, e.g. B. a grainy filling, or the lining, the side pressure exerted by the box contents on the flap side wall 27 also contributes to the abutment of the flap side wall 27 on the inside of the front wall 2.
- the locking lug 49 is thus in a position in which it is able to retract into the guide 48 without problems when the pouring spout 25 is pivoted out.
- the locking projection 49 strikes from the inside against the side wall 4, as a result of which the pivoting-out movement of the pouring spout 25 is limited.
- the upper edge 50 of the flap side wall 27 is curved in a circular arc around the intersection 53.
- the deep-drawn wall section 47 has not only a guiding function, but also a protective function for a possibly existing inner lining, which consists in protecting a thin, sensitive inner lining against wear in the area of the edge of the locking projection 49.
- the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 5 to 8 differs from the one described above in that the guide 48 is formed by a third extension 56 which starts from the second extension 41 and is connected to the second extension 41 along a fold line 57 on its side facing away from the adhesive strip 17 and is folded around the fold line 57 against the inside of the second extension 41.
- the free end of the third extension 56 extends right up to the adhesive strip 17.
- the third extension 56 performs a sealing function in addition to its guiding function, which is particularly important in the case of an inclined course of the pivot axis 31, because in such a case the flap side wall 27 in the open position of the filler 25 lifts slightly from the front wall 2 and therefore a crack is formed on the upper edge of the flap side wall 27, through which the contents of the folding box 1 can escape if there is no inner lining.
- the free end of the third extension 56 covers the above-described crack, so that the seal against the filling material is ensured even in the absence of an inner lining.
- the second extension 41 also has a deeply embossed wall section 58, but in this case the wall section 58 is preferably towards the front wall 2, i.e. the front wall 2. H. to the outside, deeply embossed. This creates an additional guide area 59.
- the additional guide 59 and the deeply embossed wall section 58 are not necessary design features.
- the exemplary embodiment is also fully functional if the second extension 41 were cut free to lines 61, which represent the upper boundary of the deep-drawn region, specifically because of the guide 48 formed by the folded-in third extension 56.
- the third exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 9 to 12 corresponds in principle to the second exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 5 to 8. It differs only in that the third extension, designated 66 here, on the side of the second extension 41 facing the box cover 7 along a fold line 67 connected to the second extension 41 and folded over this fold line.
- the third extension 66 could also be connected to the second extension 41 on the opposite side thereof.
- the flap side wall 27 is sealed at its upper edge because the extension 66 extends up to the adhesive strip 17. This embodiment is therefore also suitable both for folding boxes 1 with and without an inner lining.
- the guide 48 is formed by a third extension 71 which is connected along a fold line 72 to the second extension 41 on its side facing the box bottom 6.
- the extension strip 51 of the flap side wall 27 extends as a web 73 beyond the fold line 72 into the third extension 71, namely by an angle a.
- the web 73 is connected to the third extension 71 along an articulated line 74.
- the lateral boundary edges of the web 73 extend in a circular arc around the intersection 53, but need not be so designed.
- the web 73 has two articulation lines, namely the articulated line 74 described above and an articulation line 75 which lies in the fold line 72 in the closed position of the pouring spout 25.
- the angular dimension a corresponds to approximately half of the opening angle b of the pouring spout 25. Due to this configuration, the web section 76 extending between the articulated lines 74, 75 is pivoted by 180 ° between the articulated line and the open position of the pouring spout 25, whereby it moves between the second and third extension 41, 71 transversely and spreads. This has to overcome a certain elastic resistance when opening and closing the pouring spout 25, which results in a mechanism by which the filling spout 25 is biased into its end positions (closed position or open position).
- edge section 58 which produces the above-described clamping action could also be deeply embossed in the direction of the interior of the folding box 1. It is also advantageous to allow the deep-drawn area in front of the locking projection 49 to end in the open position of the pouring spout 25, as is indicated by lines 77 in FIGS. 7 and 8. In this embodiment, a clamping effect is generated in the open position of the pouring flap 25.
- the guide 48 is formed by a plug-in tab 78 which runs along a fold line 79 with that of the rear wall 3 outgoing cover flap 18 is connected.
- the wall section containing the pouring flap 26 is not the actual adhesive strip, which is designated here by 80, but an additional wall part 81, which is connected along a fold line 82 to the side wall 4 containing the tearable cutout 28, on the end facing away from the front wall 2.
- the wall part 81 is folded around the fold line 82 against the inside of the side wall 4, the pouring flap 26 and the tearable cutout 28 being in register.
- the wall part 81 carries the second extension 41, from which the first extension 39 forming the flap side wall 27 is cut out.
- 25 to 28 corresponds in principle to the above-described exemplary embodiments, but differs from this in that there is no special guide for the flap side wall 27 by which the contact of the flap side wall 27 with the front wall 2 is ensured.
- this embodiment only the flap side wall 27 of the extensions is present as the first extension 39. The installation of the flap side wall 27 on the front wall 2 is ensured by the existing material tension and the side pressure of the folding box filling, which presses the flap side wall 27 against the front wall 2.
- This exemplary embodiment is also suitable for folding boxes 1 both with and without a liner, it being noted that an inner liner in particular then has a guide designated by 48 in the exemplary embodiments described above can replace if the inner lining is at least partially attached to the inner wall of the folding box walls, here the front wall 2. Sealing of the resulting gap on the upper edge of the flap side wall 27 in the open position is not provided. In the absence of an inner liner, this configuration is particularly suitable for large-sized packaging goods.
- the embodiment according to FIGS. 29 to 32 differs from that according to FIGS. 25 to 28 by the shape of the pouring spout, here designated 85, which can be pivoted about a horizontal pivot axis 86 for the purpose of opening and closing and has a flap side wall 87 on each side .
- the arrangement and shape of the right flap side wall 87 correspond to the exemplary embodiments described above.
- the left flap side wall 87 is cut out of the adhesive strip 17 with the pouring flap 88 and is connected to it along a folding line 91 which runs parallel to the fold line 89 of the right flap side wall 87 and which simultaneously form the longitudinal edges 92 of the pouring flap 88.
- the pouring flap 88 is also glued here with a tearable cutout 93 in the side wall 4 covering the adhesive strip 17.
- the tear-open cutout 93 is arranged congruently with the pouring flap 88 or is dimensioned slightly larger.
- the filler 25, 85 adjoins the vertical edge 10 of the folding box 1, the width c of the filler nozzle 25, 85 being only part of the width B of the folding box 1.
- the filler 25, 85 must adjoin a vertical edge of the folding box 1.
- the square spout 85 which is likewise square here, can adjoin a horizontal edge of the folding box 1.
- the filler 85 is adjacent to the upper edge of the side wall 4, the filler 85 being pivotable in the horizontal plane about a pivot axis 86, which here runs vertically.
- the upper flap side wall 87 is cut out of a dust flap 19 as the first and second extension 39, 41.
- the dust flap 19 can also be shaped in the sense of a guide 48 of the above-described embodiments. For reasons of strength, there is a distance d between the vertical edges 9, 9 of the folding box 1. If a filler 25, 85 adjoins an edge of the folding box 1, handling is made easier because a latching content can be poured out more easily.
- FIGS. 37 to 40 there is a special guide for the flap side walls 87, which is generally designated by 96.
- This guide 96 is formed by a convex configuration of the pouring opening edge 97 opposite the pivot axis 86.
- the pouring opening edge 97 is convexly curved, as a result of which acute-angled corners 98 are formed which ensure that the flap side walls 87 are held in a straight line.
- An impairment of the free cross-section of the filling spout 85 is ver even with a conceivable considerable side pressure exerted by the contents of the folding box on the flap side walls 87 prevents.
- a corresponding folding box blank can be folded on conventional folding machines to form a folding box that is not able are to process a blank with the aforementioned extensions.
- folding machines are in the majority in the industry.
- the relevant exemplary embodiments enable the present invention to also benefit those customers who want to fold the folding boxes on their own folding machines of the type described above. In such cases, the folding boxes can be sent to the customer as blanks and thus in a practical and space-saving arrangement.
- 45 to 48 show an exemplary embodiment with a mechanism which, in a manner comparable to the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 13 to 16, elastically urges the spout 85 from its central position into its open or closed position.
- the square pouring spout 85 is arranged in the center and adjoins the upper edge of the side wall 4 containing it.
- the pivot axis 86 runs horizontally.
- the associated filler flap 88 is connected at its free end 99 along a hinge line 101 to a web 102 which is cut out of the associated dust flap 19, which is connected along a fold line 103 or the horizontal edge 13 to the adhesive strip 17 containing the filler flap 88 .
- This dust flap 19 is dimensioned longer (e) than the other dust flaps 19, and it has a fold line 104 at a distance f from the fold line 103 or edge 13, around which the free end of the dust flap 19 as a second section 105 to the inside of the first section 106 is folded.
- the web 102 extends by the dimension designated g into the second gate 105 and is connected there to the second portion 105 along a hinge line 107. In a line with the fold line 104, the web 102 has a second hinge line 108.
- the distance g is dimensioned half as large as the opening width h of the filling spout 85.
- the web section 109 extending between the articulation lines 107 and 108 is rotated about the articulation line 107 by approximately 180 °. In the central position, the web section 109 assumes a transverse position that spreads the first and second sections 105, 106 apart.
- a mechanism is specified which elastically acts on the filler 85 from its central position into its open or closed position. This mechanism also limits the opening movement of the pouring spout 85. Therefore, no locking lugs on the flap side walls 87 are required. This also applies to the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 13 to 16, in which a locking projection 49 may be present, but is not a necessary feature.
- the free cuts 110 on both sides of the web section 109 prevent frictional difficulties between the web 102 and the dust flap 19.
- the web 102 has a pouring opening 111, which is covered in the closed position of the filling spout 85 by the second section 105 and cover flaps 18 located above it and is free in the open position of the filling spout 85, so that the folding box contents can be poured out in this position.
- the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 49 to 52 shows that, as an alternative to the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 21 to 24, it is also possible to form the wall part 115 containing the pouring flap also by means of a folded-in dust or cover flap 18, 19, which for this purpose is outside the neighboring dust or Dekkellaschen 18 is both extended (i) and widened (k).
- This dust flap 19 is divided into three sections 121 to 125 by fold lines 116 to 119.
- the quadrangular pouring flap 88 is with its flap side walls 87 from which the remaining dust or. Cover tabs 18, 19 protruding sections 123 to 125 cut out, in an upside-down position.
- the blank part 126 formed by the sections 121 to 125 is folded in when the blank is folded around the fold line 127 lying in the relevant horizontal folding box edge, to be precise to form a two-layer fold 128 which results in a special dust flap.
- the section 123 bears against the side wall 4 containing the tear-open cutout 93, while the sections 124 and 125 bear against the inside of the front wall 2 and the rear wall 3 of the folding box 1.
- the pouring flap 8 is also glued to the tearable cutout 93 and the individual sections 121 to 125 can also be glued at suitable points.
- the fold line 117 extending between the sections 122 and 123 is interrupted by a free cut 129 in order to reduce material stresses resulting from the folding in this area.
- the width c of the fill 85 is narrower than the width B of the folding box 1. Therefore, the side walls 87 protrude into the free interior of the folding box 1.
- the above-described exemplary embodiment also allows the spout 85 to be arranged directly on an edge of the folding box or else a triangular-shaped spout according to the first described exemplary embodiments.
- the filler 25, 85 borders either with its free end or with a longitudinal edge on an edge of the folding box 12 (see FIGS. 1 to 4 and 37 to 40)
- the adhesive strip 17 is widened by an amount o with its usual width m, which is used for the overlap between the filler flap 26, 88 and the edge section containing the tearable cutout 28, 93 is required.
- the adhesive strip 17 will usually be widened or extended to the next edge of the folding box.
- the adhesive strip 17 is widened in the case of relatively wide folding boxes 1 only in the area required as described above and is cut out at 136 below this area.
- the flap side wall 27, 87 projects into the interior of the folding box in the closed position.
- the guide 48 for the at least one flap side wall 27, 87 can be formed from a one-piece blank. In the context of the invention, however, it is also possible to use an additional guide part, which is not integrally connected to the blank or is not cut simultaneously with it.
- Such an exemplary embodiment is indicated in FIG. 27. It is a dash-dotted guide strip 135, which at least partially covers the flap side wall 27 or the locking extension on the inside and fastened outside of the guide region formed in this way to the second extension 41 or to the front wall 2, for. B. is glued.
- the guide strip 135 preferably extends as far as the folding box wall containing the pouring flap, as a result of which the flap side wall is sealed at its upper edge.
- the wall part 17, 81, 115 containing the pouring flap must be covered by an outer wall 4.
- the flap side wall (s) 27, 87 consists of extensions 41, 56, 66, 71 angled into the edges of the folding box, such an overlap is not required.
- the second extension 41 serve as adhesive strips for the front wall 2.
- the pouring flap 26 is formed on the adhesive strip 17 and the cutout 28 on the side wall 4 of the folding box, the adhesive strip 17 and the side wall 4 being arranged at opposite ends of the folding box blank.
- the filler 25 or the cutout 28 adjoins the folded box edge 10 with respect to the folding box, from which the side wall 4 containing the cutout 28 and the side wall 2 connected to it by the fold line 21 as the first and second or last and penultimate side wall 2 , 4, of the folding box blank.
- the pouring flap 26 on a first or last side wall 4, 2 of the blank, in such a way that it laterally adjoins the edge 130 of this side wall 4, which the adjacent side wall 3 faces away.
- the flap side wall 27 is formed here by an extension 131, which adjoins the aforementioned edge 130 along the fold line 132.
- the flap side wall 27 can also be cut out of an adhesive strip 17, which likewise adjoins the aforementioned edge 130 along the fold line 132, but it is also possible to arrange the adhesive strip 17 at the opposite end of the folding box blank, namely on the free edge 134 of the side wall 2.
- the flap side wall 27 runs at right angles into the intersection 53, which the pivot axis 31 of the triangular pouring flap 26 and the side edge of the pouring flap 26 form.
- the flap side wall 27 is delimited on the underside or rear side by two edges which enclose an obtuse angle p. This avoids the risk of a small opening in the region of the intersection 53, in particular when the pouring flap 26 is open.
- the edge 134 of the opposite side wall 3 has a small, preferably rounded free cut 135 which provides a point of attack for the filler flap and thus makes it easier to open it.
- the design of the folding box according to FIGS. 53 to 56 is advantageous compared to the previously described exemplary embodiments because a double-walled design in the region of the pouring flap and thus also an additional cutout 28 are omitted.
- This folding box is basically suitable for every item (fine, granular), whereby the latter can also be arranged in an inner bag. In such a case, as in the previously described exemplary embodiments, the rear side of the filler flap 26 would have to be glued to the inner bag, so that it tears open when the filler flap 26 is opened.
- the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 57 to 60 differs from the exemplary embodiments described above essentially by two features which are fundamentally independent of one another.
- the substantially square fill flap 88 extends obliquely, preferably up to the respective folding box edges 10, 13, which start from the upper corner of the folding box.
- the pouring flap 88 has two flap side walls 87 which are at right angles to one another at least in the closed position of the pouring flap 88. While one flap side wall 87 is cut out from an extension 41 of the adhesive strip 17 in a manner comparable to the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 4, the other flap side wall 87 is cut in a manner comparable to the exemplary embodiments according to FIGS Cut out dust flap.
- the front edge of the filler flap 26, which is located at a distance q from the corner of the folding box, is designated by 137.
- a corresponding cut 132 is located at the cutout 93, which is offset slightly beyond the fold line 25.
- a free cut 139 is provided on the side edge 138 of the adjacent dust flap 18 covering the engagement edge 133.
- the second essential distinguishing feature is that the pivot axis 86 of the pouring flap 88 does not run straight, as in the prescribed exemplary embodiments, but rather in a curved manner.
- This curvature 141 can be both convex and concave with respect to the front edge 137 of the pouring flap 88 or pouring spout 85.
- the concave course is indicated by dash-dotted lines.
- a curved pivot axis 86 exerts a tension on the pouring spout .85 in its pivoted-out position, which holds the pouring spout 85 in its open position.
- a further advantageous embodiment of the above-described exemplary embodiment consists of straight fold lines 142 extending transversely to the pivot axis 86 in the filler flap 86 and in the cutout 93, which are also indicated by dash-dotted lines and enable an angular, concave shape of the filler spout 85 or the filler flap 88 .
- One group of features comprises a shaft 145 in the interior of the folding box, which extends on the upper side to the top wall 7 of the folding box, but on the underside has a distance r (FIG. 64) from the bottom wall of the folding box.
- a shaft 145 makes it possible to dispense equal quantities of the material to be picked up.
- the size of the amount is determined by the opening 146 (Fig. 64) and is thereby specified that through this opening 146 a certain amount of the material to be accommodated enters the shaft 145 during a normal pivoting movement of the folding box, which can be released by means of the pouring flap.
- the shaft 145 is located in a corner of the folding box, the edge lengths of the cross section of the shaft 145 being only part of the edge lengths B, D of the folding box. In the context of the invention, however, it is also possible to dimension an edge length of the cross section of the shaft 145 so large that it extends over the entire edge length (B, D) of the folding box.
- the shaft 145 is formed by an extension 147, which is connected along the fold line 140 to the edge 148 of the first or last side wall 2, 4.
- the extension 145 has four wall sections 149 to 152 which are connected to one another along fold lines 153 to 155 extending parallel to the fold line 140.
- the first wall section 149 forms the adhesive strip 17 of the folding box and the last wall section 152 an adhesive strip which, after folding over the wall sections 149 to 151, lies against the side wall 2 by 90 ° and is glued there, thereby ensuring the rectangular cross-sectional shape of the shaft 145 .
- the shaft 145 can also have other cross-sectional shapes, e.g. a triangular cross-sectional shape.
- the wall sections 150 and 151 are shortened by the dimension r compared to the side walls 2 to 5 of the folding box, the boundary edge 156 on the wall section 150 being inclined.
- the opening 146 is formed, through which the material received in the folding box reaches the shaft 145.
- 61 to 64 comprises a pouring flap 161 which is not pivotable outwards but inwards into the shaft 145 about a horizontal pivot axis 162 running in its upper edge.
- the width E of the filler flap 161 corresponds to the inner associated width of the shaft 145 or the filler flap 161 can be dimensioned to be slightly wider in order to obtain a clamping effect in the open position, in which its free edge 163 abuts the wall section 161 when it is inclined.
- the fill flap 161 is located at the upper end of the shaft 145.
- the fill flap 161 is formed on the first wall section 149 or on the adhesive strip 17, and its width also corresponds to the width of the adhesive strip 17 (E).
- the pouring flap 161 is also covered here by the side wall 4, a cutout 164 weakened by a perforation or the like being provided in the side wall 4, which cutout is arranged congruently with the pouring flap 161 and is glued to it.
- the pouring flap 161 of this exemplary embodiment has no flap side walls and also no stops, since such flaps are not necessary because of the folding. In the folded state and in the upright position of the folding box, the pouring flap 161, because of its inclined position, represents a slide on which the Gui to be poured out flows out.
- the folding box of this exemplary embodiment can, however, advantageously also be provided with flaps of the above-described exemplary embodiments in the same way.
- the configuration or arrangement of the pouring flap according to the description of FIGS. 53 to 56 is also possible.
- pouring flap 161 is adjacent to the edge 14E of the side wall 2, while the cutout 164 is adjacent to the free edge 165 of the opposite side wall 4.
- the filler flap 161 is assigned a fan-shaped partition wall 166 in the side wall 2, which is connected to the filler flap 161 along the fold line 148.
- the adjusting wall 166 On its side facing away from the filler flap 161, the adjusting wall 166 is connected to the side wall 2 by a fold line 167, which ends at the intersection 168 between the pivot axis 162 and the fold line 148.
- the side of the partition wall 166 facing away from the intersection 168 is weakened by a perforation or also separated from the side wall 2 by a cut.
- a fold line 169 extends between the fold lines 148, 167, which the intersection 168 also intersects.
- the partition 166 enables the pouring flap 161 to be closed, because when it opens, it folds outwards (see FIG. 62) and therefore forms an engagement edge for closing the pouring flap 161. Second results due to the knocked-out partition 166, a tension on the pouring flap 161, which holds the latter in its open position. The lateral protrusion of the partition wall 166 from the side wall 2 in the open position of the pouring flap 161 is ensured in that the wall section 171 facing the pouring flap 161 is dimensioned wider than the other wall section 172.
- the folding box has a dispensing opening 176, which can be opened and closed by a slide 176.
- the relevant side wall of the folding box is double-walled.
- the discharge opening 175 of triangular shape is provided in the adhesive strip 17 of the folding box.
- a mushroom-shaped strip 177 is cut out, which is connected to the side wall 4 only at its end facing away from the head 178 along a folding line 179.
- a second fold line 180 extends parallel at a distance t from the fold line 179. The arrangement is such that the head 178 of the strip 177 forming the slide 176 covers the discharge opening 175 in the closed position shown in FIG. 65.
- the slide 176 is pushed down into the position shown in FIG. 66.
- a free cut 181 which is arranged on the top of the head 178, can be comfortably engaged.
- the head 178 Before pushing down, the head 178 must be pressed in slightly so that its bevelled edges, designated 182, come behind the corresponding bevelled edges 183 of the side wall 4. In this position, the head 178 or the slider 176 is held between the adhesive strip 17 and the side wall 4 due to internal stresses and friction. When it is pushed down, the slide 176 bends out at its lower end.
- the triangular pouring opening 175 is arranged so that there is an upward tapering opening. This means that even small opening cross-sections for finely ground goods can be infinitely adjusted.
- the discharge opening 175 is closed by upward pull or pressure on the bent slide sections 185, 186.
- the folding box are integrally connected to the folding box blank so that it can be easily manufactured. Since in the exemplary embodiments there are no flap side walls protruding into the free interior of the folding box, as is the case e.g. In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 31, the present embodiments are suitable for folding boxes both with and without an inner bag. However, when using inner bags, the flaps 26, 88 and the slide 176 need to be glued to the inner bag, or the latter is e.g. can be opened by hand with a thorn through opening.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a folding box according to the preamble of
In a previously known embodiment (DE-GM 83 10 611), the pouring spout consists of a pouring flap cut out of the folding box wall on three sides, on the inside of which a U-shaped molded part is fastened, which forms the side walls of the cap, which on the edges are cut out of the pouring flap protrude into the folding box and are pulled out of the folding box when the pouring flap is unfolded.
A known embodiment comparable to that described above is shown in US Pat. No. 2,898,004 in several embodiments. In one embodiment, the molded part also replaces the pouring flap, wherein it is fastened by means of clip-shaped fastening elements in the relevant carton wall, which at the same time form the joint of the pouring spout.
The known designs have the defect that the folding box is composed of several parts which complicate the folding box and make production more difficult and expensive.
The invention has for its object to design a folding box of the type mentioned in such a way that it can be manufactured more simply and inexpensively. In addition, measures are proposed which facilitate handling when opening and closing the filling nozzle and / or when pouring out the filling material.
The object on which the invention is based is achieved by the features contained in
In the embodiment according to the invention, in addition to the pouring flap, the flap side wall and the means for limiting the unfolding movement are also part of the folding box blank. This configuration enables the individual. Attach the elements of the filler to the folding box blank in one piece and simultaneously form the filler with the folding of the folding box blank without additional parts of the filler being required. This also applies to the presence of a locking lug according to
A problem with a folding box of the known type is that the part of the flap side wall protruding into the interior of the folding box is not guided.
Such guidance can be realized according to
The features contained in
In the embodiment according to
The features contained in
The
The guide features described in claim 20 can be realized both in such an arrangement in which the flap side wall projects freely into the interior of the folding box and in a previously described arrangement in which the flap side wall is supported on the outside on the adjacent folding box wall.
The embodiment according to
Within the scope of the invention, both triangular and square-shaped pouring flaps can be realized. In the first case, material can be saved and the guiding problem is reduced due to the fact that only one flap side wall is present. In the second case there are larger opening cross sections.
It is also possible to arrange the flap side walls of the bulk flaps vertically or horizontally. One or the other arrangement can be advantageous for handling reasons or also for functional reasons, e.g. B. when the folding box is to be kept in a special position due to the limited space when spilling.
With an arrangement within the meaning of
The embodiment according to
The design according to claim 37 results in a small projection at the free end of the tearable cutout, by which the handling when tearing is facilitated because the free end can be easily attacked.
It is then advantageous according to
The embodiment of the invention can also be used in conjunction with a z. B. use inner lining formed by an inner bag, which advantageously contributes to guiding the at least one flap side wall in a configuration according to
Exemplary embodiments of the invention are described in more detail below with the aid of simplified drawings, namely FIGS. 1 to 68. Each embodiment shows a folding box designed according to the invention in four views, namely
- the folding box in perspective and with the pouring flap closed,
- the folding box in perspective and with the pouring flap open,
- an enlarged view of the folding box in the area of the closed dump flap in a partially broken and perspective view and
the cutting of the folding box.
In all of the exemplary embodiments, the invention is implemented on a
The
The box blank is weakened along the vertical box edges 9 to 12 by
In the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 4, the
The purpose of the
The
The embodiment described above is suitable for
The deep-drawn
The exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 5 to 8 differs from the one described above in that the
In the embodiment shown, the
An essential difference between the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 4 and that according to FIGS. 5 to 8 is also that in the case of the former the
The third exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 9 to 12 corresponds in principle to the second exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 5 to 8. It differs only in that the third extension, designated 66 here, on the side of the
In the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 13 to 16, the
It must also be added to the exemplary embodiments according to FIGS. 5 to 16 that the
In the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 17 to 20, there is neither a second nor a third extension, but only the
In this exemplary embodiment, too, not only the locking
In the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 21 to 24, the wall section containing the pouring
Das vereinfachte Ausführungsbeispiel gemäßThe simplified embodiment according to
Bei Fehlen eines Innenfutters eignet sich diese Ausgestaltung insbesondere für grobstückiges Verpackungsgut.25 to 28 corresponds in principle to the above-described exemplary embodiments, but differs from this in that there is no special guide for the
The embodiment according to FIGS. 29 to 32 differs from that according to FIGS. 25 to 28 by the shape of the pouring spout, here designated 85, which can be pivoted about a
In the exemplary embodiments described so far, the
It is not a necessary feature that the
In a further embodiment, it is also possible to cut out the
In the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 37 to 40, there is a special guide for the
Der Abstand g ist halb so groß bemessen, wie die Öffnungsbreite h der Schüttülle 85.45 to 48 show an exemplary embodiment with a mechanism which, in a manner comparable to the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 13 to 16, elastically urges the
In this embodiment, when the pouring
The exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 49 to 52 shows that, as an alternative to the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 21 to 24, it is also possible to form the
In the illustrated embodiment, the width c of the
93 erleichtert. In the exemplary embodiments in which the
With the exception of the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 21 to 24 and 49 to 52, it can be seen in the above-described exemplary embodiments that the
In the embodiments in which the at least one
In all of the above-described exemplary embodiments, the
Depending on the embodiment within the scope of the invention, it is also not a necessary feature that the
For a large number of the above-described exemplary embodiments of the invention, cf. e.g. 4, the pouring
In contrast to the exemplary embodiments described above, the
In the area of the
The design of the folding box according to FIGS. 53 to 56 is advantageous compared to the previously described exemplary embodiments because a double-walled design in the region of the pouring flap and thus also an
The exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 57 to 60 differs from the exemplary embodiments described above essentially by two features which are fundamentally independent of one another.
One feature is that the substantially
The second essential distinguishing feature is that the
A further advantageous embodiment of the above-described exemplary embodiment consists of
In the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 61 to 64 there are also two groups of features which are fundamentally independent of one another. One group of features comprises a
The
It should also be noted that from the
As in the previously described exemplary embodiments, the pouring
The pouring
The folding box of this exemplary embodiment can, however, advantageously also be provided with flaps of the above-described exemplary embodiments in the same way. The configuration or arrangement of the pouring flap according to the description of FIGS. 53 to 56 is also possible.
A difference to the previously described configurations, e.g. 1 to 4, there is also that the pouring
The
The triangular pouring
Since in the exemplary embodiments there are no flap side walls protruding into the free interior of the folding box, as is the case e.g. In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 31, the present embodiments are suitable for folding boxes both with and without an inner bag. However, when using inner bags, the
