Abstract

Ein Stuhl, insbesondere Bürostuhl weist eine senkrechte, von einem Fußgestell (10) ausgehende Säule (12) auf, von deren oberem Ende nach vorne ein Ausleger (16) vorspringt. Mit dem Ausleger ist eine Sitzplatte (20) verbunden, die im rückwärtigen Bereich durch eine an der Säule (12) festgelegte Schenkelfeder (24) abgestützt wird. Die Sitzplatte (20) ist etwa im Bereich ihres vorderen Drittels fest mit einer auf dem Ausleger angebrachten Trägerplatte (18) und im Bereich ihres hinteren Drittels fest mit einer starren Stützplatte (22) verbunden. Die Stützplatte (22) weist an der Unterseite Hülsen zur verschiebbaren Aufnahme zweier offener Ende (38,40) der insgesamt U-förmigen Schenkelfeder (24) auf. Wenigstens im Bereich ihres mittleren Drittels ist die Sitzplatte (20) biegsam ausgebildet.

Description

  • Stuhl, insbesondere Bürostuhl mit einer senkrechten, vom einem Fußgestell ausgehenden Säule, einem vom oberen Ende der Säule nach vorne vorsprin­genden Ausleger, einer mit dem Ausleger verbundenen, im rückwärtigen Be­reich durch eine an der Säule festgelegte Schenkelfeder abgestützten Sitz­platte und einer durch die Schenkelfeder federnd abgestützten Rückenlehne.
  • Stühle dieser Art sind in verschiedenen Ausführungsformen bekannt. So zeigt und beschreibt die DE-OS 37 41 472 einen Stuhl, bei dem die Stizplatte am vorderen Ende des Auslegers schwenkbar gelagert ist und die Rückenlehne über einen Bügel schwenkbar am oberen Ende der Säule angebracht ist. Eine Schenkelfeder ist am Ausleger festgelegt und stützt den rückwärtigen Be­reich der Sitzplatte sowie die Rückenlehne federnd ab. Eine andere Lösung der genannten Art, mit der jedoch insgesamt ein anderes Konzept verfolgt wird, zeigt die europäische Patentschrift 0 105 955. Nach dieser Patent­schrift ist die Sitzplatte in Querrichtung in eine vordere und hintere Teilplat­te geteilt. Die vordere Teilplatte ist starr am Ausleger befestigt, während die rückwärtige Teilplatte über eine am Ausleger und am oberen Säulenende festgelegte Schenkelfeder abgestützt wird. Die Rückenlehne ist über Lenker und Zwischenstücke an der rückwärtigen Teilplatte und der Säule befestigt.
  • Bei Stuhlkonstruktionen der vorliegenden Art sind zwar generell vor allem Gesichtspunkte der Funktionalität und der Ergonomie zu berücksichtigen, je­doch besteht auch erheblicher Bedarf an robusten, einfachen und mit relativ geringem Aufwand herstellbaren Lösungen. Unter diesem Blickwinkel er­scheint ein Stuhl, wie er in der europäischen Patentschrift 105 955 be­schrieben ist, als weniger günstig, da er eine große Anzahl von Achsen, Ge­lenken, Federn und weiteren beweglichen Konstruktionsteilen aufweist, die zu einem hohen Herstellungs- und Montageaufwand führen und als Ver­schleißteile grundsätzlich eine Störquelle bilden können.
  • Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen Stuhl der gattungsgemäßen Art zu schaffen, der nicht nur den Anforderungen der Funktionalität und Er­gonomie entspricht, sondern mit wenigen beweglichen Teilen auskommt und mit geringem Aufwand herstellbar ist.
  • Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß bei einem Stuhl der obigen Art dadurch gelöst, daß die Sitzplatte etwa im Bereich ihres vorderen Drittels fest mit ei­ner auf dem Ausleger angebrachten, starren Trägerplatte verbunden ist, daß die Sitzplatte etwa im Bereich ihres hinteren Drittels fest mit einer starren Stützplatte verbunden ist, die an ihrer Unterseite Hülsen zur verschiebbaren, verrastbaren Aufnahme zweier offener Enden der insgesamt U-förmigen Schenkelfeder trägt, und daß die Sitzplatte wenigstens im Bereich ihres mittleren Drittels biegsam ausgebildet ist.
  • Da die Sitzplatte im Mittelbereich elastisch biegsam ist, erfordert der Stuhl keinerlei Gelenke, die üblicherweise für die federnde Schwenkbewegung der Stizplatte und der Rückenlehne vorgesehen sind. Die starre und großflächige Verbindung des vorderen und hinteren Endbereichs der Sitzplatte mit dem Ausleger und der rückwärtigen Stützplatte ermöglicht eine stabile Lösung. Durch nur eine, relativ einfache Schenkelfeder wird sowohl die Stizplatte als auch die Rückenlehne federnd gehalten. Die Schenkelfeder weist im übrigen eine zusätzliche Funktion auf, da sie an der Unterseite der rückwärtigen Stützplatte verrastbar ist und auf diese Weise eine Blockierung des Federme­chanismus ermöglicht. Außer dem entsprechenden Rastmechanismus sind keinerlei bewegliche Teile erforderlich.
  • Vorzugsweise befinden sich auf beiden Seiten der Stützplatte jeweils zwei in Abstand liegende Hülsen. Da die rückwärtige Stützplatte und damit der rück­wärtige Teil der Sitzplatte durch die beiden nach rückwärts ragenden Enden der Schenkelfeder abgestützt wird, kann die Möglichkeit bestehen, daß die Sitzplatte bei seitlich-asymmetrischer Belastung im rückwärtigen Bereich zu einer Seite hin absinkt. Dies wird jedoch verhindert durch die Verwindungs­steifigkeit der Stützplatte in Verbindung mit den in Abstand auf beiden Sei­ten liegenden Hülsen, die die Feder-Enden aufnehmen.
  • Beim Einfedern der Sitzplatte verschieben sich nicht nur die rückwärtigen Enden der Schenkelfeder in den Hülsen, sondern as ändert sich zugleich der Winkel zwischen den Schenkelfeder-Enden und der Sitzplatte. Diese Winkel­änderung kann ohne weiteres durch die Elastizität der Sitzplatte und der Schenkelfeder aufgenommen werden. Gegebenenfalls können die Hülsen leicht schwenkbare Lagerbuchsen umfassen.
  • Die Rückenlehne ist vorzugsweise über ein geeignetes Zwischenstück an der rückwärtigen Stützplatte befestigt. Dieses Zwischensstück kann seinerseits eine Federwirkung ausüben.
  • Die insgesamt U-förmige Schenkelfeder ist in ihrem Scheitelbereich an der Unterseite des vorderen Auslegers verstellbar abgestützt. Durch Verstellung des Abstands zur Unterseite des Auslegers verändert sich die Vorspannung.
  • Die vom vorderen Scheitelbereich ausgehenden Schenkel der Schenkelfeder sind vorzugsweise um seitlich vom oberen Ende der Säule vorspringende Zapfen herumgelegt und verlaufen von der Oberseite der Zapfen zu den Hül­sen.
  • Weitere Merkmale der Erfindung ergeben sich aus den Unteransprüchen.
  • Im folgenden werden bevorzugte Ausführungsbeispiele der Erfindung anhand der beigefügten Zeichnung näher erläutert.

  • Ein erfindungsgemäßer Stuhl gemäß Figur 1 bis 3 weist ein Fußgestell 10 in der Form eines Rollengestells auf, von dem eine senkrechte, höhenverstellbar­re Säule 12 ausgeht, die im Inneren eine Gasfeder 14 enthält. Vom oberen Ende der Säule 12 springt nach vorn - bezogen auf die Sitzrichtung - ein schräg aufragender Ausleger 16 vor. Auf dem vorderen Ende des Auslegers 16 ist eine im wesentlichen waagerechte, quer zur Sitzrichtung verlaufende, starre Trägerplatte 18 befestigt (Fig. 1 u. 2).
  • Auf der Trägerplatte 18 ist der vordere Bereich von etwa einem Drittel oder auch einem Viertel einer Sitzplatte 20 befestigt, die aus relativ dünnem, bieg­ samem Material, insbesondere aus Kunststoff besteht. Die Sitzplatte 20 kann eine nicht gezeigte Polsterung tragen.
  • An der Unterseite der Sitzplatte 20 ist im rückwärtigen Endbereich von etwa einem Drittel der Sitzplatte eine quer über die Sitzplatte verlaufende Stütz­platte 22 befestigt, die ebenso wie die vordere Trägerplatte im wesentlichen starr ist. Die Stützplatte kann eine mit Versteifungsprofilierungen versehene Kunststoffplatte sein, wie später genauer erläutert werden soll.
  • Eine insgesamt U-förmige Schenkelfeder 24, auf deren genaue Form im ein­zelnen noch eingegangen werden soll, stützt sich in ihrem vorne liegenden Scheitelbereich 26 über eine Stellschraube 28 an der Unterseite des vorde­ren Auslegers 16 ab. Die beiden Schenkel der Schenkelfeder 24 verlaufen schräg nach hinten und jeweils in einer Wendel 30,32 um Zapfen 34,36 her­um, die zu beiden Seiten vom oberen Ende der Säule 12 vorspringen. Im dar­gestellten Beispiel werden die Zapfen 34,36 gebildet durch einen durchge­henden, vor das obere Ende der Säule gezetzten Rohrabschnitt, auf den spä­ter noch einmal eingegangen werden soll. Von der oberen Seite der Zapfen 34,36 verlaufen die mit 38,40 bezeichneten rückwärtigen Enden der Schenkelfeder 24 zur Unterseite der Stützplatte 22. An der Unterseite der Stützplatte werden die Enden 38,40 längsverschiebbar und verrastbar ge­führt, wie später anhand von Figur 4 erläutert werden soll. Auf diese Weise stützt sich der rückwärtige Endbereich der Sitzplatte 20 über die Stützplatte 22 auf den Enden 38,40 der Schenkelfeder mit entsprechender Federwir­kung ab.
  • Die rückwärtige Stützplatte 22 ist an ihrem hinteren Ende nach oben stumpfwinklig abgewinkelt und bildet dort eine Trägerfläche 42, an der eine Rückenlehne 44 in geeigneter Weise befestigt werden kann. Die Verbindung zwischen der Trägerfläche 42 und der Rückenlehne 44 kann elastisch ausge­bildet sein und beispielsweise eine weitere Schenkelfeder 46 umfassen, die in die Rückenlehne 44 integriert ist und deren Enden in entsprechende Auf­nahmen der Trägerfläche 42 eingeschoben werden.
  • Der waagerechte Rohrabschnitt, der die beiden Zapfen 34,36 an der Vorder­seite der Säule 12 bildet, kann zugleich an beiden Enden zur Aufnahme von Stellhebeln 48,50 für die Höhenverstellung bzw. die Verrastung der Sitzplatte dienen. Der Stellhebel 48 weist einen nicht dargestellten, im Inneren des als Rohr ausgebildeten Zapfens 34 liegenden Schaft auf, an dessen Ende ein Druckglied 52 angeordnet ist, das auf einen Auslösestift 54 am oberen Ende der Gasfeder 14 einwirkt. Der andere Stellhebel 50 besitzt ebenfalls einen Schaft, der einen Bowdenzug 56 betätigt, auf den später noch einmal einge­gangen werden soll. Ferner sind gemäß Figur 1 und 3 an den Zapfen 34,36 Armlehnen 58,60 festgelegt.
  • Die Form der Stützplatte 22 und deren Zusammenwirken mit den rückwärti­gen Schenkelfeder-Enden 38,40 sollen anschließend anhand von Figur 4 nä­her erläutert werden.
  • Die Stützplatte 22 weist an der Unterseite eine in Figur 4 dargestellte Rip­penstruktur zur Versteifung auf. Die beiden Enden 38,40 der Schenkelfeder 24 werden in zwei in axialem Abstand liegenden Hüllen 62,64 bzw. 66,68 längsverschiebbar geführt. Im Interesse eine lichtgängigen Verschiebbar­keit der Feder-Enden 38,40 in den Hülsen 62,64,66,68 befinden sich in den Hülsen oberhalb und unterhalb der Feder-Enden, also in den Hauptbela­stungsrichtungen, Nadellager 70.
  • Bei einseitiger Belastung des rückwärtigen Bereichs der Sitzplatte wird ein übermäßiges Nachgeben nur eines Endes 38,40 der Schenkelfeder dadurch verhindert, daß sowohl die vordere Trägerplatte als auch die hintere Stütz­platte 22 im wesentlichen über die gesamte Breite der Sitzplatte 20 verlaufen und fest mit dieser verbunden sind. Ein seitliches absinken der Stützplatte 22 wird durch deren Verwindungssteifigkeit in Verbindung mit der Vier­punktlagerung der Feder-Enden in den vier in Abstand liegenden Hülsen 62,64,66,68 ausgeschlossen.
  • Anstelle der Nadellager kann auch ein Lager verwendet werden, das aus ei­nem Zylinderrohr, einem zylinderförmigen Lagerkäfig aus Kunststoff und ei­ner an dessen Enden angeordneten, ringförmigen Kugelaufnahme besteht. Derartige Zylinderführungen werden beispielsweise bei Werkzeugmaschinen verwendet.
  • Zwischen den Hülsen 62,64,66,68 sind die beiden Feder-Enden 38,40 durch eine quer zur Stützplatte 22 verlaufende Traverse 72 fest verbunden. Auf der Traverse 72 befinden sich mehrere Rastzähne 74, in die ein Riegel 76 ein­treten kann. Der Riegel 76 wird durch eine Feder 78 in die Verriegelungs­stellung vorgespannt. Der bereits erwähnt Bowdenzug 56 wird zur Untersei­te der Stützplatte 22 geführt und mit dem Riegel 76 verbunden, so daß die Verriegelung durch Betätigung des Stellhebels 50 (Fig. 3) gelöst werden kann. Anstelle des beschriebenen Rastmechanismus kann ein Rastmechanis­mus anderer Art, beispielsweise auch eine stufenlos verrastbare Gasfeder ver­wendet werden.
  • Figur 4 läßt im übrigen die rückwärtige Trägerfläche 42 erkennen, die zur Aufnahme der Rückenlehne dient.

Claims (9)

1. Stuhl, insbesondere Bürostuhl, mit einer senkrechten, von einem Fußge­stell (10) ausgehenden Säule (12), einem vom oberen Ende der Säule nach vorne vorspringenden Ausleger (16), einer mit dem Ausleger verbunden, im rückwärtigen Bereich durch eine an der Säule festgelegte Schenkelfeder (24) abgestützten Sitzplatte (20) und einer durch die Schenkelfeder federnd abgestützten Rückenlehne (44), dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Sitzplatte (20) etwa im Bereich ihres vorderen Drittels fest mit einer auf dem Ausleger (16) angebrachten Trägerplatte (18) verbunden ist, daß die Sitzplatte etwa im Bereich ihres hinteren Drittels fest mit einer starren Stützplatte (22) ver­bunden ist, die an ihrer Unterseite Hülsen (62,64,66,68) zur verschiebbaren und verrastbaren Aufnahme zweier offener Enden (38,40) der insgesamt U-­förmigen Schenkelfeder (24) trägt, und daß die Sitzplatte (20) wenigstens im Bereich ihres mittleren Drittels biegsam ausgebildet ist.
2. Stuhl nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Rückenlehne (44) an der rückwärtigen Stützplatte (22) befestigt ist.
3. Stuhl nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die insge­samt U-förmige Schenkelfeder (24) in ihrem Scheitelbereich (26) an der Un­terseite desvorderen Auslegers (16) verstellbar abgestützt ist.
4. Stuhl nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die vom Scheitel­bereich (26) der Schenkelfeder ausgehenden Schenkel um seitlich vom obe­ren Ende der Säule (12) vorspringende Zapfen (34,36) herumgelegt sind und von der Oberseite der Zapfen zu den Hülsen (62,64,66,68) verlaufen.
5. Stuhl nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß auf beiden Seiten der Stützplatte (22) jeweils zwei die Feder-Enden (38,40) in Abstand aufnehmende Hülsen angebracht sind.
6. Stuhl nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß in den Hülsen (62,64,66,68) Nadellager 970) zur leichtgängigen Führung der Feder-Enden (38,40) angeordnet sind.
7. Stuhl nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Feder-Enden (38,40) unterhalb der Stützplatte (22) durch eine quer über die Stützplatte verlaufenden Traverse (72) fest verbunden sind und daß die Traverse durch einen Rastmechanismus (74,76) in mehreren Positionen der Feder-Enden (38,40) in bezug auf die Hülsen verrastbar ist.
8. Stuhl nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Rastmechanis­mus einen Bowdenzug (56,76,78) umfaßt.
9. Stuhl nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Rastmechanismus eine stufenlos verrastbare Gasdruckfeder umfaßt.
