Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a support frame for height-adjustable tables, in particular for CAD systems, in which the upper part carrying the table top can be raised or lowered with respect to the lower part resting on the floor by means of telescopic adjustment elements, with additional guides for the upper part and lower part Upper part are provided.
In a known embodiment of this type, a cover plate is attached to the upper part, which is guided laterally in the direction of adjustment of the two parts on the lower part. Such a design has the disadvantage that the cover plate, due to its bendability, cannot absorb excessive forces from the guide of the telescopic adjustment members.
In a further embodiment of this known type, a box-like part is attached to the underside of the upper part, which is vertically displaceable in a second box attached to the lower part, a telescopic adjusting member being provided within the box-like part of the upper part. In this known design, the table top is divided, only a narrow strip being adjusted parallel to the floor by the box-like part. The remaining part of the table top is pivotally connected to this narrow strip and rests in its area facing away from the narrow strip on the upper part of the supporting frame, so that when the narrow strip is raised, the table top is inclined, the degree of inclination depending on the extent of the lifting. The box-like guide therefore needs almost no absorption of tilting forces, such a box-like guide being suitable for absorbing tilting forces only to a limited extent, since it tends to jam or pike in particular when the inner box is extended.
The invention has for its object to provide a training of the type mentioned, by means of which support frames for tables in particular with free cantilevered table tops can be achieved, which are able to carry high loads.
According to the invention, this object is achieved in that, as additional guides on the underside of the upper part, spaced from this, a cross member is attached via rigidly attached, rigid suspensions, the lateral ends of which are guided along guides on the lower part in the adjustment direction of the two parts. As a result, both horizontal forces acting on the table top and one-sided vertical forces acting on these can be introduced into the lower part without the guides of the telescopic adjusting elements being loaded beyond the normal dimension.
Advantageously, when an additional table level is arranged above the actual table top, the latter can be supported on the cross member via one or more beams that protrude above the upper part. As a result, transverse forces exerted on the additional table level are introduced essentially directly into the lower part of the supporting frame via the cross member.
In the case of a support frame for height-adjustable tables, in particular for CAD systems, in which the upper part supporting the table top can be raised or lowered by means of telescopic adjustment members relative to the lower part resting on the floor, and in which the cable routing to and from electrical or electronic devices below If cable ducts or cable ducts are provided on the table top, the cable duct can be separated by parallel, mutually displaceable plates that run parallel to the adjusting device and in the longitudinal direction of the table, one of which is connected to the lower part and the other to the upper part. This results in a cable duct that always has a closed duct wall, even in the case of larger adjustment ranges, as is required for tables for CAD systems, which prevents the formation of gaps in which gaps the cables enter and then damage during adjustment can be. With CAD tables, it is known that they must have the correct working height both when the operator is in the seated position and when the person is standing upright, with table adjustment areas occurring in the Range of about 40 cm. In order to achieve the greatest possible unimpeded adjustment, the panels that belong together can be almost congruent when the table is lowered. In the presence of an additional table level, a further cable duct running between the table top and the additional table level, preferably provided with a removable wall, can be provided, which communicates with the cable duct located below the table top. This is particularly necessary if, in addition to the operating devices of a CAD system, corresponding screens must be provided regardless of the operating position of the operator. The further cable duct can be arranged in the plane of the lifting mechanism for the upper part arranged outside the cable duct located under the table top, a deflection device, for example a deflection plate, being provided at its lower end for guiding the cables into the cable duct located below the table top. This makes it possible to arrange the additional cable duct between the supports for the additional table level, these supports being able to be guided in a straight line to the cross member forming the additional guide between the upper part and lower part. If the height of the further table level can be adjusted, a recess can be provided in the two plates in the upper area, which recesses lie one above the other in the lowered state of the table, the recesses towards the lifting device being covered by an extension of the deflection device extending in the direction of adjustment. This makes it possible that even with independent adjustability of the support frame and the additional table level, cables are prevented from escaping from the cable duct, so that damage to the cables during the adjustment of the table is reliably prevented.
In a particularly advantageous embodiment, the width of the extension measured in the adjustment direction can correspond approximately to the height adjustment path of the additional table level. Furthermore, the cable duct arranged below the table top can be closed to the outside by two removable cover panels that can be displaced parallel to one another in the adjustment direction. This is easy access to the cables is always given, the adjustment movement of the two parts of the support frame is not hindered and the cables cannot be damaged by the fact that they can somehow get into a gap and then be squeezed there. Finally, the cable duct arranged below the table top can be closed on its underside by a profile rail, preferably a U-profile rail, which connects the plate arranged on the lower part and the cover panel arranged on the lower part. This profile rail on the one hand achieves a termination of the cable duct, thereby preventing cables from hanging out of the cable duct at the bottom and being damaged there, and on the other hand stiffening the cable duct, since the profile rail bends the plate or cover plate arranged on the lower part prevented.

As can be seen from FIG. 5, the
As can be seen from FIGS. 4-6, the
The side parts of the lower part of the support frame are rigidly connected to each other by the plates 19 'and 20' attached to it. This results in a very stable design, e.g. on the one hand in that, due to the two plates 19 'and 20', a very stable lower part is achieved, in which the upper part is also guided by the
In the case of a height-adjustable
The
With the design of the support frame according to the invention, it is thus possible to achieve high adjustment ranges of the
