Abstract

Bei einem Verfahren zur Simulation des Klang-und/oder Höreindrucks an einem repräsentativen Hörplatz wird, getrennt für das linke und das rechte Ohr, die Raumimpulsantwort h(n) ermittelt. Dabei ist es gleichgültig, ob der Raum ein tatsächlich existierender realer Raum oder ein virtueller Raum ist.
Von der ermittelten Raumimpulsantwort h(n) werden sodann nur jene Anteile verwertet, die für den Klangeindruck maßgeblich sind, d.h. Anteile der Raumimpulsantwort h(n), die kleiner als eine vorgegebene Schwelle sind, werden ignoriert. Hierdurch vereinfacht sich wesentlich der schaltungstechnische Aufwand, um das wiederzugebende elektroakustische Signal mit der betreffenden Raumimpulsantwort zu falten.
