Abstract

Description

The invention relates to a display surface device with a rigid, flat support for a poster that can be applied thereon. Such display surface devices are known both as flat billboards and as so-called advertising columns.

However, these known display surface devices have a number of disadvantages. The posters glued to the support by means of paste are exposed to the weather, whereby in the case of strong moisture or moisture there is a risk that the posters will peel off or partially show through, so that older posters underneath will be visible.

Weather conditions also reduce the lifespan of the posters, i.e. they lose their attractive appearance relatively quickly. In addition, the gluing is complex and the poster rinds created by multiple gluing on top of each other represent a major problem in disposal.

It is known to place posters in glazed showcases or under massive acrylic panes screwed to a wall to flaunt. However, for cost reasons, this is used almost exclusively for long-term advertising. However, such arrangements must be of very high quality and, in particular, be moisture-proof and splash-proof, since otherwise the posters exhibited become damp, curl and become unsightly.

A display area system is known from EP 88 420 175.7, in which no conventional posters (made of printed paper) are used. Rather, the display motif is printed on a plastic film and stretched over a support in a frame. However, this procedure is disadvantageous because inexpensive paper is not used as the display motif support, but rather expensive textile-fiber-reinforced plastic film, which moreover requires a more complex printing process.

The problem on which the invention is based is to improve a display surface device of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that a presentation which allows simple and longer standing times is possible for conventional posters.

To solve this problem, a transparent film is arranged above the support with the interposition of the poster in the display surface device of the type mentioned above, which overlaps the support laterally and is under a tension that is perpendicular to the support from the surface of the film to the surface of the support has directed component.

This display surface device allows conventionally printed paper posters to be presented protected from the weather. The poster or, in the case of a poster consisting of several parts, its individual sheets are pressed firmly against the support. The display surface device according to the invention can accommodate posters of any size, including posters consisting of several individual sheets. The poster or the individual sheets are fixed on the support with adhesive dots before the film is stretched and then the film is stretched.

In order to achieve a form-fitting and thus tight arrangement, the film in the display surface device according to the invention is preferably stretchable and is formed from polyvinyl chloride (PVC).

A particularly desirable optical effect, namely an increase in brilliance, is achieved if the surface of the film facing the support is matted. This can be achieved, for example, by grinding the film surface.

Either the support and the film are dimensioned so that the poster extends to the edge of the support, or the support and the film are dimensioned so that the poster projects beyond the edge of the support.

In a particularly preferred embodiment of the display surface device according to the invention, the support is formed from a translucent material. This makes it possible to backlight the poster, which makes it possible to achieve very effective optical effects. For this purpose, at least one light source is arranged on the side of the support opposite the film.

In order to achieve a more uniform light transmission of the display surface device according to the invention, a light-transmissive coating, which is preferably formed by a white light-transmissive film, is applied on the side of the support opposite the film.

In particular in the case of larger embodiments of the display surface device according to the invention, the film has at least one expansion bellows in the edge region in order to compensate for the tensile stress and to distribute it better.

Instead of only exerting the tension in some areas, the tension advantageously acts on the film essentially along its entire circumference.

In a preferred embodiment of the display surface device according to the invention, the film is inclined at an angle of more than 5 °, in particular approximately 10 ° to 15 °, with respect to the support.

The film is preferably essentially square (square, rectangular, parallelogram, diamond, or trapezoidal) and has a receptacle for a holding device in at least one corner. This means that when replacing a poster, the film can be kept away from the support and a new poster can be placed on the support under the film. When the display surface device is vertical stands, a receptacle, for example in the form of an eyelet, is preferably provided in the two lower corners, in which a rod engages as a holding device. This design enables weather-protected work (changing the poster) under the film.

The support is preferably arranged within a clamping frame which also supports the other end of the rod-shaped holding device. In a preferred embodiment, the tensioning frame has the holding device, wherein it is stored in or on the tensioning frame when it is not required.

In the eyelet / rod arrangement described above, three of the four longitudinal edges of the film are to be released from their holder when changing the poster until the film can be held away with one or two rods and the poster can be placed underneath.

The handling device according to the invention is intended to solve the problem of achieving a simpler and more weather-independent handling when changing posters.

For this purpose, the poster handling device has a cross member corresponding to the width of at least part of the poster with a receiving device for the poster member and at least one longitudinal slide connected to the cross member, which is flexible about axes parallel to the cross member along its longitudinal extent, and transversely to Cross beam extending axes is substantially rigid.

In a further embodiment, the handling device has a cross member corresponding to the width of at least a part of the poster with a receiving device for the poster part and at least one with the cross member connected longitudinal slide, which is telescopically extendable and retractable in its longitudinal extent. In order to remedy this problem, a delivery device for a poster (part) is provided according to the invention, which can be attached to an edge of an advertising space device and is set up in such a way that the poster (part) can be pulled out of the delivery device when attached to the advertising area device. The poster (part) is thus completely protected, since it can be inserted from the dispenser directly under the film, without wind or moisture reaching the poster (part).

The dispensing device is preferably formed by a hollow container which essentially corresponds to the width of the poster (part), into which the poster (part) can be inserted before the poster change, and which has a longitudinal slot on one side surface for dispensing the poster (part) ) it has.

The display surface device according to the invention, the handling devices and the dispensing device are optimally coordinated with one another, so that a weather-independent possibility of changing the poster, which can be carried out easily for an individual even with large billboards, is provided.

In Fig. 1 a section of a display surface device is shown in cross section, wherein a plate made of metal (aluminum, stainless sheet metal) serves as a support 1, on which a poster 2, possibly composed of several sheets, is placed. A tear-proof, stretchable film 3 made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is arranged above the poster, which overlaps the support 1 on the side and is transparent. In order to equalize the light radiation striking the poster 2 from behind, a translucent coating 6 is applied to the side of the support 1 opposite the film 1. This coating 6 is formed by a white translucent plastic film (see FIG. 2), but it can also be formed by a lacquer layer or the like.

FIG. 3 shows a section of a clamping frame 10 in which the display surface device described above is mounted. For this purpose, a bracket 11 welded to the support 1 is used, which is screwed to a support plate 12 in order to connect the display surface device to a clamping frame profile 13. The support plate 12 has a step 12a, so that the support 1 is raised relative to the tenter frame 13.

The tenter frame profile 13 is designed as an extruded hollow profile which is essentially rectangular in cross section and has a longitudinal slot 14 on its upper side. Through this longitudinal slot 14, the edge of the film 3 engages in the tenter frame profile 13 and is hooked to two flexurally elastic strips 18a, 18b via a band 16 formed along the edge, which has a thickened portion 17 which is semicircular in cross section at its free edge, which take up the tape 16 between them, but do not release the thickening 17 on train. In the display surface device shown schematically in FIG. 5 with the rectangular tenter frame 10, the film 3 is also essentially square and has a receptacle 26, 27, for example in the form of an eyelet, at least in the two lower corners 24, 25. In each case a holding device in the form of a rod 28, 29 articulated on the clamping frame 10 engages in the eyelets 26, 27. The dimensions of the longitudinal slide 34 of the handling device are chosen so that its wider side surfaces 35 (see FIG. 6a) extend essentially parallel to the cross member 31.

Instead of the rectangular cross-sectional shape of the longitudinal slide 34, this can also be round, trapezoidal, oval or polygonal in cross section. However, corresponding stiffeners must then be provided along its longitudinal extent, which also have the effect that the bending stiffness properties of the above-described rectangular cross-section rod are also essentially achieved.

Instead of a longitudinal slider 34 attached centrally to the cross member 31, two or more longitudinal sliders 34 can also be provided at a distance from one another along the width of the cross member 31 in order to accommodate wider posters (parts).

In addition, instead of the flexible longitudinal slide 34, a longitudinal slide (not illustrated) can be used, which can be telescopically extended and retracted in its longitudinal extent.

Finally, the handling device can have a cross member corresponding to the width of at least part of the poster with a receiving device for the poster part, which is provided at least at both ends with a conveyor device in the form of pulling cables or pulling chains and deflection rollers, each of which is rectangular in the upper corners Display surface device are arranged. The display surface device 50 shown corresponds essentially to the arrangement shown in FIGS. 1-5 and is designed as a free-standing billboard which is fastened to the floor by means of two struts 52, 54, so that the lower edge 51 of the display surface device 50 is approximately 30 cm - 60 cm above the floor.

The edge 56 of the film 2 in the region of the lower edge 51 of the display surface device 50 is released from the holder, so that a poster (part) 2a can be inserted between the film 3 and the support 1 from a dispensing device 39 fastened to the lower edge 51 ( see Fig. 11).

For this purpose (see FIG. 12), a handling device 30, which has a folded edge of the poster (part) on the edge 33 of its cross member 31, pushes the poster (part) out of the dispensing device 39 under the film .

Since the longitudinal slide 34 of the handling device 30 is bent out of the plane of the support 1 or the film 3 12 (see area K) in FIG. 12, the film 3 is not lifted strongly from the support 1, so that the film 3 does not deform or bulge in places due to the change of the poster.

As soon as the poster (part) is pushed on or over the upper edge 55 of the support 1, the handling device 30 is withdrawn again (see FIG. 13). The optimal hold of the poster (part) results when the poster (part) is pushed over the upper edge 55, since then when the film 3 is later tightened, the poster (part) firmly between the edge of the support 2 and the film 3 is clamped.

A further poster (part) 2b is then inserted (see FIG. 14) next to the poster (part) 2a. The folded edge of the poster (part) 2b is then placed on the edge 33 of the handling device 30 and fixed with the spikes 37.

Then, with the handling device 30, the poster (part) 2b is pushed between the support 1 and the film 3 up to the upper edge 55.
