Description

The invention relates to an insulation board made of thermally and possibly acoustically insulating insulation materials with a tapering end and with another end opening outward, in particular along oblique surfaces, for plugging together adjacent insulation boards.

Such insulation boards made of, for example, cork, mineral wool and foamed plastic are already known. In addition to the tongue and groove connections between adjacent, butt-to-butt insulation boards as in SU-PS 29 39 81, it is also known to taper an insulation board end so that the outer edge tapers at a tip, from each of which an inclined surface the two outer surfaces of the insulation board. The other end of the insulation board is provided with a dovetail-like recess, which serves to receive the pointed opposite end of an adjacent insulation board. In this way it is possible to attach a row of insulation boards to one another and to joint them over their pointed or dovetail-shaped ends.

While with such dovetail connections, care must be taken during assembly to ensure that the insulation board just laid does not automatically slip out of the desired end position, in which the inclined surfaces of the tip lie against the inclined surfaces of the dovetail-shaped recess, the connection of adjacent insulation boards is achieved by inserting them a feather a certain difficulty, which makes the laying work more expensive.

In addition, it is known (DE-GM 87 03 088) to design the sloping ends of insulation boards that abut when laying, in order to avoid undesired displacement of adjacent insulation boards when laying.

The invention has for its object to improve an insulation board of the type mentioned with simple means to the effect that the assembly or disassembly can be carried out easily even by laymen, without the need to use special devices that prevent unwanted slipping out of the just installed insulation board the position which corresponds to the final assembly position.

The invention is characterized in claim 1 and further embodiments of the same are described in subclaims. Based on the drawing, a particularly preferred example of use is also described in the following description of the figures.

In the invention, the outwardly opening end of the insulation board is provided with a recess on the inside or - in other words - the end that opens to the edge of the insulation board is on the inside, i.e. on the opposite side of the edge in question. At the transition point between the beginning of the widening and the inclined surfaces, which in particular wedge-shaped extend toward the edge in question, there is at least one locking lug to form a narrow point in this transition region to the corresponding inclined surface.

At the other, tapering end, the insulation board, on the other hand, is provided with a blocking part or - in other words - with a widening part, the greatest width of which is greater than the width of a constriction in the area of the transition of this blocking part or this widening into the sloping surface in question , which leads to the relevant outer surface of the insulation board. The greatest width the locking part is also greater than the width of the aforementioned narrow point in the area of the locking lug of the first mentioned end of the insulation board.

In addition, the insulation board is either in the area of the locking lug or in the area of the locking part or the extension or preferably in both areas made of a material that deforms compressively to a large extent when pressure is released, in order to largely return to its original shape after the pressure has released to take.

In this way it is possible that when attacking the locking part of one end of the insulation board at the one or more locking lugs of the other end of an adjacent insulation board and when using a pressure urging the two insulation boards in their "nested" assembly position, the locking part is pressed past the locking lug into the recess is, while the locking lugs reach into the "nested" assembly position in the transition area between the locking part and the inclined surfaces of one end of the insulation board and prevent the locking part from again automatically, ie to get out of the recess without pronounced pull on the insulation board in question.

According to a special design, the edge of the recess is on a circle with a diameter which corresponds to at least the greatest width of the locking part. Accordingly, the edge of the locking part should also be on a circle with a diameter that corresponds to the greatest width of the locking part. Both the recess and the blocking part then form a kind of crescent moon or three-quarter moon in cross section. The constriction is expediently located at the transition point between the edge of the recess or the blocking part and the adjacent inclined surface.

The width of the constriction of the locking part should be between 50% and 95% of the greatest width of the same, while the width of the constriction at the locking lug should be between 85% and 98% of the greatest width of the locking part.

The ratio of the largest width of the locking part in relation to the thickness of the base plate should be between 30% and 80%.

The locking part and the recess should each extend over the entire width of the insulation board, but modified designs are also possible in which, for example, the locking part does not run over the entire width of the insulation board, but only corresponds to part of the width, for example only in the Located in the middle or on the edges.

Als Dämmstoff empfehlen sich insb. folgende:
Holzfaserplatten und Dämmstoffe aus Holzwerkstoffen, Faserdämmstoffe in Form von Platten,- oder Rollenware, Schaumdämmstoffe in Form von Hart,- und Weichschäume sowie Korkerzeugnisse.
The following are particularly recommended as insulation:
Wood fiber boards and insulation materials made of wood materials, fiber insulation materials in the form of sheets or rolls, foam insulation materials in the form of hard and soft foams as well as cork products.

According to FIG. 1, the downwardly opening lower end 10 of the upper insulation board 1 has an approximately half to three-quarter moon-shaped recess 2 in the center, which is in the region of two Locking lugs 8 merges into inclined surfaces 6, which connect the recess 2 in the center of the insulation board 1 with the two outer sides 1a and 1b. This insulation plate 1 shown at the top in FIG. 1 and also the adjacent insulation plate 1 shown there below have rigid foam as the insulation material.

At the upper tapering end 11, the lower insulation board 1 is provided with a locking part 4, which in turn is half-to-three-quarter moon-shaped in cross section. The outer edge of the locking part 4 extends in a circle up to a constriction 7 in order to pass from there along the inclined surfaces 5 to the two outer surfaces 1a, 1b.

In this assembled locking position, the two locking lugs 8 on both ends of the recess 2 prevent the locking part 4 from slipping out of the mounting or locking position shown in FIG. 1. It is therefore possible to mount insulation boards from above onto adjacent lower insulation boards as well as to install insulation boards from below on insulation boards located above them and "hang up" there in the locked position.

So that as far as possible no foreign bodies and moisture, such as driving rain, get into the space between the two ends 10, 11 and remain there, the mounting position shown in FIG. 1 is recommended, in which the tapering ends are at the top and the ends that open outward are arranged with the recess 2 downwards. If rainwater runs downward in the direction of the arrow on the outer surfaces 1a of the curtain wall formed from the insulation boards 1, no water can rise in the joint between the adjacent installed insulation boards 1, so that additional insulation by, for example, injection of jointing compound is unnecessary.

DerAccording to Figure 2, the edge 2a of the recess 2 is rounded; it is located on a circle with the diameter A, which at the same time forms the largest width of the recess 2. The edge 2a runs on the circle up to the two locking lugs 8. The

Der Abstand C zwischen den Einschnürungen 7 bildet die Engstelle 7a.Distance B of the locking lugs 8 forms the constriction 8a, at which the locking part 4, correspondingly rounded with its outer edge 9, strikes the adjacent lower insulation board 1 in the position shown in FIG. 2. If pressure is now exerted on the upper insulation board 1 downwards and / or pressure is exerted on the lower insulation board 1 upwards, then the distance B of the locking lugs 8 increases by pushing them apart and / or the greatest width D of the locking part 4 is reduced by compression thereof , so that the locking part 4 past the locking lugs 8 can get into the recess, as shown in Fig. 1 in the assembled locking position. The locking lugs 8 then snap into the triangular areas at the transition points 7 between the outer edge 9 of the locking part 4 and the respective inclined surfaces 5 of the same end of the insulation board 1. The distance C between the constrictions 7 forms the constriction 7a.

DieseIn the examples shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the angles α of the inclined surfaces 5, 6 in relation to the outer surfaces 1 a, 1 b of the insulation boards 1 are between approximately 10 and 45 ° in such a way that the inclined surfaces 5, 6 run approximately parallel and abut one another when the assembled locking position according to FIG. 1 is reached. According to a special embodiment of the invention, it is recommended to choose the angle α₁₀ of the inclined surfaces 6 of the lower end 10 of the upper insulation board 1, which has the recess 2, somewhat larger than the angle α₁₁ of the upper tapered end 11 of the lower insulation board 1st If the locking part 4 then latches into the recess 2, the edge 2a forms a type of bearing in which the locking part 4 can twist somewhat, so that the lower insulation board 1 also forms an angle β with respect to the Alignment of the adjacent insulation board 1 can be laid. In this way, curved walls can be created or curved parts of the building can be clad, even if non-curved, flat and relatively dimensionally stable insulation boards 1 are used. This

Possibility does not allow the use of the known joints with dovetail ends mentioned at the beginning and the tongue and groove connections also mentioned at the beginning without further ado.

It goes without saying that the type of configuration of the cross section of the cutout, the locking part and the inclined surfaces can also be realized differently than in the preferred configuration of the invention and the object of the invention can be achieved taking into account the principle mentioned in the main claim, according to which it is sufficient if there is a locking part at one end of the insulation board, which can be inserted into a recess at the other end of the adjacent insulation board in such a way that it has to overcome a certain resistance when it is inserted, which on the other hand ensures that the insulation board in question is not without its own position slips out again, in which the recess with the locking lug or the two locking lugs shown in the figures forms a catch for the locking part, even if a certain degree of mobility, in particular pivoting of the two insulation boards in relation to one another, is still possible.

Fig. 3 is an example of such an embodiment of the invention, in which the insulation board ends 10, 11 are only provided on one side 1a with inclined surfaces 5, 6, which from a shoulder 12, 13 to either the locking lug 8 in front of the recess 2nd or the constriction 7a in front of the locking part 4. In this embodiment, the locking part 4 has an edge 9, which projects out over the constriction 7a or the locking lug 8, only on the one side facing the outer side 1a of the insulation panel 1, which edge 9, when it is mounted on it must be pushed or pushed under compression. On the opposite sides, the ends 10, 11 have parallel sliding surfaces 14, 14 which also run parallel to the outer sides 1, 1b of the insulation panels 1.
