Letzteres interagiert beim Unterschreiten eines Schwellenabstandes elektromagnetisch, d.h. durch hochfrequente Wellen oder magnetisch mit dem Detektor. Entscheidend ist bei den erwähnten Echtheitsnachweisen jedoch, daß unschwer optisch erkennbar ist, ob daran manipuliert wurde; beim Versuch, das Sicherungselement in der Weise zu entfernen, daß der Echtheitsnachweis abgezogen und - nach dem Ablösen des Sicherungselementes - wieder aufgeklebt wird, ändern sich seine optischen Eigenschaften derart stark, daß die Manipulation offensichtlich ist.
