Abstract

Vorrichtung zum Wiederbefüllen eines Druckkopfs (100) eines Tintenstrahldruckers außerhalb des Tintenstrahldruckers, mit einer Halterung, in die der Druckkopf (100) einsetzbar ist, wobei der Druckkopf einen Tintenvorratsraum aufweist, welcher in Fluidverbindung mit Austrittsöffnungen einer Düsenplatte (101) steht und über eine Öffnung belüftet ist, mit

  • einem Tintentank (20), der über eine Leitung und ein Kopplungsstück mit der Belüftungsöffnung zum Herstellen einer Fluidverbindung abgedichtet verbindbar ist,
  • einem Auffangbehälter (60), der über eine Leitung und ein Kopplungsstück mit der Düsenplatte (101) zum Herstellen einer Fluidverbindung abgedichtet verbindbar ist,
  • einer Pumpe (40) mit umkehrbarer Förderrichtung, die in die Leitung zwischen dem Tintentank (20) und der Belüftungsöffnung eingeschaltet ist,
  • einer Steuerelektronik (10), die auf die Pumpe derart einwirkt, daß die Tinte solange vom Tintentank in den Tintenvorratsraum gefördert wird, bis der gewünschte Füllzustand erreicht ist und anschließend die Förderrichtung der Pumpe umkehrt, so daß der Förderdruck abgebaut und erforderlichenfalls ein vorgegebener Unterdruck im Tintenvorratsraum hergestellt werden kann, sowie
  • eine Gestaltung der Halterung derart, daß der Druckkopf (100) mit im wesentlichen nach oben weisender Düsenplatte (Befüllposition) positionierbar ist.

  • the holder is designed in such a way that the print head (100) can be positioned with the nozzle plate (filling position) essentially pointing upwards.
