Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Anschlußmuffe zur gasdichten Verbindung einer Abgasleitung mit dem Rauchrohr eines Schornsteins gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1. Eine derartige Muffe ist als Adapter beschrieben in der EP-A-0 672 866. Bei dieser vorbekannten Muffe besteht die Notwendigkeit, einen ringförmigen Stützkörper in den Anschlußstutzen des Rauchrohrs mit einbringen zu müssen. Wegen dieses Stützkörpers ist nur noch der vom Stützkörper freigelassene Anteil des Anschlußstutzendurchmessers für die Abgasleitung nutzbar. Da zusätzlich zwischen dem Stützkörper und dem Anschlußstutzen noch Dichtmaterial eingebracht sein muß, können nur Abgasleitungen mit sehr viel geringerem Durchmesser als dem Durchmesser des Anschlußstutzens des Rauchrohrs mit der bekannten Muffe befestigt werden. Dies ist insbesondere nachteilig, weil mit der bekannten Muffe keine Abgasleitungen eingesetzt werden können, die ähnlich geringe Strömungswiderstände wie das Rauchrohr des Schornsteins erreichen. Ausgehend von diesen Nachteilen liegt der Erfindung die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Anschlußmuffe so zu gestalten, daß ein möglichst großer Anteil des Durchmessers des Anschlußstutzens für die anzubringende Abgasleitung nutzbar ist und daß mit Hilfe eines Muffentyps ein möglichst großes Intervall von Abgasleitungsdurchmessern abdeckbar ist. Mit der erfindungsmäßigen Anschlußmuffe ist es deshalb möglich, Abgasleitungen am Anschlußstutzen des Rauchrohrs anzubringen, deren Außendurchmesser nahezu dem Innendurchmesser des Anschlußstutzens entspricht. Bei einer mit der Erfindung ebenfalls realisierbaren Ausführungsform mit einem dem Innendurchmesser des Anschlußstutzens 3 im wesentlichen entsprechenden Außendurchmesser der Abgasleitung 8 erfolgt die Montage der Abgasleitung 8 an der Anschlußmuffe 5 derart, daß die Abgasleitung 8 vom später dem Rauchrohr 1 zugewandten Ende her in die Anschlußmuffe 5 eingeschoben wird. Auf diese Weise sind die Öffnungsränder 9 im späteren Montageendzustand nicht in den Anschlußstutzen 3 hineinverschwenkt, sondern liegen dem Anschlußstutzen 3 abgewandt ebenfalls an der Außenfläche 11 der Abgasleitung 8 an. Auf diese Weise entfällt der Raumbedarf für die Öffnungsränder 9 zwischen der Innenfläche des Anschlußstutzens 3 und der Außenfläche der Abgasleitung 8. Auf diese Weise ist der Innendurchmesser des Anschlußstutzens 3 vollständig zur Aufnahme der Abgasleitung 8 nutzbar.In an embodiment which can also be realized with the invention and which has an outer diameter of the exhaust pipe 8 which essentially corresponds to the inside diameter of the connecting piece 3, the exhaust pipe 8 is mounted on the connecting sleeve 5 such that the exhaust pipe 8 from the end which later faces the smoke pipe 1 into the connecting sleeve 5 is inserted. Claims (8)

Anschlußmuffe (5) zur gasdichten Verbindung einer Abgasleitung (8) mit dem Rauchrohr (1) eines Schornsteins, - mit einer flanschartigen Scheibe (6) als Muffengrundkörper und - mit einer zentralen Durchtrittsöffnung (7) in der Scheibe (6) als Preßsitz für die Abgasleitung (8) derart, daß die Öffnungsränder (9) in Mittellängsrichtung (10) der Abgasleitung (8) verschwenkt nach Art eines Dichtrings an der Außenfläche (11) an der Abgasleitung (8) anliegen,
   dadurch gekennzeichnet,
- daß am Scheibenrand eine etwa rechtwinklig aus der Scheibenebene vorstehende Manschette (12) angeformt ist und - daß die Muffe im Montageendzustand mit der Manschette (12) über einen am Rauchrohr (1) angeformten Anschlußstutzen (3) gestülpt ist.
