Abstract

Bindings are mounted on snow-boards etc. using a fastening plate (1) which contains a pattern of holes (6,7) to allow attachment to the snow-board with screws. The hole pattern allows two-dimensional adjustment of the plate in two directions which are perpendicular to one another and parallel to the upper side of the snow-board. Preferably the fastening plate is circular and fits into a corresponding circular opening of a base part of the binding. The pattern comprises long rows of holes and parallel short rows of holes. Slots may be provided in place of circular holes. A central hole (4) is preferably provided for identification of a mark on the snow-board.

Description

The invention relates to a holding part, in particular a fastening plate, for holding bindings on snowboards or the like, with holes provided in the holding part for receiving fastening screws, or the like while bracing the holding part on the snowboard. in predefined or predefinable screw mounts on the snowboard or the like. can be screwed in, the holes forming a hole pattern such that the holding part or the like in different positions relative to the screw receptacles on the snowboard. is definable.

Usual bindings for snowboards or the like. typically have one on top of the snowboard Base plate with a large central circular opening, the peripheral edge of which is provided with an end toothing. An essentially circular fastening plate fits into this circular opening, which can be screwed to the snowboard, the base plate of the snowboard binding being clamped non-positively between a circular edge region of the fastening plate and the upper side of the snowboard and also being held in place by positive locking by the front toothing the circular opening of the base plate engages in an end-face counter-toothing on the peripheral edge of the mounting plate. In this way, the base plate and thus also the snowboard binding can in principle be attached in any rotational position relative to a vertical vertical axis of the snowboard.

It is already known in principle to provide rows of holes for receiving the fastening screws on the fastening plate, such that the fastening plate can be adjusted in the longitudinal direction of the snowboard if the arrangement of the screws is changed accordingly. Accordingly, the snowboard binding can be mounted in different positions relative to the screw receptacles in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the snowboard.

The object of the invention is now to create new adjustment options.

This object is achieved according to the invention in a holding part of the type specified at the outset in that the hole pattern involves a two-dimensional adjustment of the holding part or the fastening plate - in two mutually perpendicular and the like to the top of the snowboard. about parallel directions.

The invention is based on the general idea, in addition to an adjustment of the bindings in the longitudinal direction of the snowboard or the like. also to allow an adjustment in its transverse direction, so that a particularly varied coordination of the transmission of forces and moments between the feet or legs of the snowboarder and the snowboard is possible. This takes into account the fact that the snowboarder typically stands on the snowboard essentially transversely to its longitudinal axis and accordingly has to control the use of one longitudinal edge of the snowboard with the heels and the use of the other longitudinal edge of the snowboard with the tips of the feet. Due to the adjustability of the bindings in the transverse direction of the snowboard, the different foot forces of the respective in the heel and toe area can Snowboarders are taken into account in a special way.

For the rest, with regard to preferred features of the invention, reference is made to the claims and the following explanation of the drawing, on the basis of which particularly preferred embodiments are described.

In the example of FIGS. 1 and 2, the fastening plate 1 shown has a plan view essentially in the form of a circular disk, it being possible for at least one recess 2 to be present on the circumference of the plate to also fit the fastening plate 1 into a corresponding circular opening of a base plate of a snowboard binding shown) to be able to use if the binding above the base plate has an interference contour. Of the The circumferential edge of the fastening plate 1 is undercut in such a way that an edge region 1 'is formed which is vertically spaced from the plane of the underside of the fastening plate and has an end toothing on its underside.

Zones 3 are arranged on the top of the fastening plate 1 within an inner circular surface area which is concentric with the edge area 1 'and which can serve as a step or footprint for a shoe inserted into the snowboard binding, not shown.

In the middle of the mounting plate 1, a central bore 4 with a relatively large diameter can be provided.

Furthermore, on the upper side of the fastening plate 1, two large-area depressions 5 are arranged diametrically opposite one another with respect to the plate center, each of which has a shape similar to the side view of a dumbbell in the plan view of FIG. 1. The upper side of these depressions 5 lies vertically somewhat below the upper side of the edge region 1 'and the ring zone adjoining it radially inward, into which the depressions 5 extend somewhat.

Two long rows of holes 6 parallel to one another are arranged within the depressions 5. Arranged on both sides of each of these rows of holes 6 are two shorter rows of holes 7 which are parallel to the rows of holes 6 and which are spaced apart from one another in the longitudinal direction and, at their ends facing away from one another, are exceeded in the longitudinal direction by the respectively adjacent row of holes 6. The rows of holes 7 are arranged next to the adjacent row of holes 6 so that there are short rows of holes extending transversely to the respective row of holes 6.

The round holes of the rows of holes 6 and 7 serve to receive fastening screws 8, which can be screwed into threaded holes of (not shown) screw receptacles on the snowboard The peripheral edge of a circular opening of a base plate 9 of a snowboard binding, which is only indicated in FIG. 2, engages and the base plate 9 is firmly clamped between the edge region 1 'and the top of the snowboard.

The aforementioned screw mountings on the snowboard are arranged at the corner points of a square (indicated by dotted lines in FIG. 1). The holes in rows 6 and 7 are now so arranged relative to each other that a multiple offset mounting of the mounting plate 1 is possible relative to the screw receptacles. In Fig. 1, two possible arrangements of the fastening screws 8 within the fastening plate 1 are marked 8 'and 8''. On the one hand, arrangements are possible in which the screws 8 are each arranged in holes in the long rows 6 of holes. On the other hand, there is the possibility of arrangements in which the screws 8 are each arranged in the short rows of holes 7 - either right or left of the rows of holes 6 in the illustration in FIG. 1.

Since the screw receptacles and thus also the fastening screws used in them each form a square, the fastening plate 1 can also be mounted rotated by 90 ° or a multiple of 90 ° with respect to the position shown in FIG. 1, as a result of which the possible variability of the positions which can be produced Snowboard binding is increased accordingly.

Through the central bore 4, a mark made on the snowboard can be recognized, so that it can be determined whether the fastening plate 1 is centered in the desired manner.

The embodiment of FIGS. 3 and 4 differs from the embodiment of FIGS. 1 and 2 primarily in that the rows of holes 6 formed by round holes are each replaced by two elongated holes 10. The surrounding zones 11 of the elongated holes 10 are arranged somewhat recessed relative to the rest of the bottom of the depressions 5 and are provided with corrugations which run transversely to the longitudinal axis of the elongated holes 10. The recessed surrounding zones 11, which extend to the side of the elongated holes 10 into the area of a circumferential section of the holes in the adjacent rows of holes 7, form a guide for flat strips 12, each with round holes 13 at their ends and in the surrounding zone of these round holes 13 with corrugations on the underside are provided, which is able to intervene in the corrugation of the surrounding zones 11.

The round holes 13 of the flat strips 12 each have a distance corresponding to the threaded holes in the screw receptacles on the snowboard.

The attachment of the mounting plate 1 on the snowboard is initially possible in such a way that the screws 8 are inserted into the holes 13 in the flat strips 12, which in turn are accommodated next to one another in the surrounding zones 11 of the elongated holes 10 in such a way that the holes 13 form a square. Before the mounting screws 8 firmly in the screw holders of the snowboard are screwed in, the fastening plate 1 (with the base plate 9 of the snowboard binding) can be moved in the longitudinal direction of the flat strips 12 into a desired position. After the screws 8 have been tightened, the fastening plate 1 is firmly clamped between the flat strips 12 and the edge of the base plate 9 of the snowboard binding and the top of the snowboard, the position of the fastening plate 1 in the longitudinal direction of the flat strips 12 also being form-fitting by the mutual engagement of the corrugations Flat strips 12 and the surrounding zones 11 are secured to one another, while in the sideways direction of the flat strips 12 there is a positive connection between their longitudinal edges and the step-like transition between the surrounding zones 11 and the raised zones 3 or the adjacent bottom of the depressions 5. The corrugations mentioned are formed with a narrow pitch, so that very closely adjacent positions of the mounting plate 1 can be adjusted.

The flat strips 12 have on their long sides next to the holes 13 each arc-shaped recesses 14, which are the same contour with the corresponding peripheral areas of the holes in the rows of holes 7 in plan view, as soon as the flat strips 12 are positioned so that their holes 13 with adjacent holes in the rows 7 of holes each extending straight to the elongated holes 10 Form rows of holes. Since the thickness of the flat strips 12 is dimensioned such that the upper side thereof is in the same plane as the bottom of the recesses 5 when the flat strips are inserted into the surrounding zones 11, the screw head is then inserted into a hole in the rows of holes 7 next to a recess 14 Screw 8 is supported uniformly on its underside on the bottom of the respective recess 5 or the edge of the respective flat strip 12. Otherwise, the screw shaft protrudes somewhat into the respective recess 14, so that the fastening screws 8 can only be inserted into holes in the rows of holes 7 next to the flat strips 12 when the flat strips 12 with their recesses 14 assume a position directly next to the respective screw shafts.

As soon as the holes in the rows of holes 7 are used to hold the fastening screws 8, the same possible positions result for the fastening plate 1 in FIG. 3 as with the fastening plate 1 in FIG. 1. On the other hand, if the fastening screws 8 are in the holes 13 in the flat strips 12 can be used, depending on the position of the flat strips 12 in the surrounding zones 11, on the one hand those positions which result in the case of the fastening plate 1 of FIG. 1 when using the holes in the rows of holes 6 for the screws 8; on the other hand, any intermediate positions can also be reached.
