Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Datenverarbeitung in einem Postversandsystem, gekennzeichnet durch:

  • Durchführen eines ersten Schrittes (201) mit Poststückdetektierung und mit Abtasten im Transportweg zur Frankiermaschine,
  • Durchführen einer Verarbeitungsroutine in einem zweiten Schritt (209) in der Frankiermaschine, mit automatischer Eingabe der übermittelten Anzahl an Einlagen und/oder an Dokumenten, mit Eingabe des jeweils gespeicherten durchschnittlichen Einlagen- bzw. Dokumentengewichtes, mit Berechnung des Gewichtes, wobei das durchschnittliche Einlagengewicht mit der vom Personalcomputer gelieferten Einlagenanzahl multipliziert wird und mit automatischer befördererspezifischer Portowertberechnung sowie
  • Verarbeiten der Daten im Frankiermodus mit einer beförderer- und kostenstellenbezogenen Abrechnung in einer zweidimensionalen Abrechnungsmatrix vor dem Frankieren.

Die Anordnung (Fig. la bzw. 1b) verdeutlicht den Transportfluß von Post von einem modernen Büro 21, wo auf einer Vielzahl von Personalcomputern PCa, PCb, PCc,..., mit zugehörigen Druckern Da, Db, Dc,..., und gegebenenfalls anderen Peripheriegeräten Briefe bzw. Einlagen für Poststücke erstellt werden, zu einer Poststelle. Die Postzuführung zur Poststelle kann dabei ungeordnet erfolgen.
