Abstract
<IMAGE>A reading system for electronic locking devices is presented, consisting of a reading unit (1) and an electronic key (1). When the key is inserted into the reading unit, there is a data transfer between the key and lock electronics when the reading contacts of the reading unit and the contact paths (8) of the key come into contact. The reading unit has spring-loaded reading contacts that protrude into the insertion channel (2) of the reading unit with a rounded or beveled contact head (3) and, thanks to their design, enable a short key insertion and thus a low overall height of the reading system. The electronic keys have contact tracks which are bent around the free end of the key tongue (11) and which lead into the key handle (10) on both sides of the key tongue. Due to the double arrangement of the contact tracks, the key can be used as a reversible key. <IMAGE>
Description
The invention relates to a reading system for use in electronic locking devices Safety devices. The reading system consists of a reading unit that uses a Insert channel with reading contacts and electronic keys. The Keys have contact tracks that are carried by the key tongue and that along with the handle end of the key tongue into the key handle into where they are connected to key electronics. When inserting the Key in the reading unit there is contact between the contact paths of the Key and the reading contacts of the reading unit. During the touch there is a Data transfer between the key and the lock electronics.
In the European patent EP 0 253 499 A2 an electronic key is used presented, on the tongue are one-sided contact tracks attached. In the key electronics is obviously housed, the outputs and inputs of which are electrical are connected to these contact tracks. The reading unit is equipped with resilient reading contacts provided that are rounded and provided with a chamfer.
In der DE 34 37 844 C2 ist ein elektronisch/mechanischer Schlüssel mit kontaktgebundenem Datentransfer beschrieben, wobei die Kontakte am Schlüssel als Kontaktbahnen ausgebildet sind, welche beim Einführen des Schlüssels mit den Kontakten der Leseeinrichtung korrespondieren.DE 34 37 844 C2 describes an electronic / mechanical key with a contact-based one Data transfer described, the contacts on the key as contact tracks are formed, which when inserting the key with the contacts of the reading device correspond.
DE 39 17 549 A1 describes a further electronic / mechanical key with a contact-based one Data transfer presented, the contacts retractable into the Narrow side of the key tongue inserted and via key strips with the key electronics are connected.
A disadvantage of the three solutions mentioned above is that the contact tracks have to be inserted in the key tongue - so probably in a complex Way glued or injected into the tool of the key tongue. The establishment of electrical line connections between contact tracks and Key electronics must be implemented in a complex manner. Finally, too complain that the keys are not equipped with a comfortable reversing function, but that care must be taken when inserting that always the same side points upwards.
The object of the invention is to provide an electronic key with a corresponding one
To create a reading system whose contact paths in production technology
applied to the key tongue as simply as possible, up to the key electronics
guided and connected in a simple manner with this electrically conductive
can. Another task is to design the key so that it is a
comfortable reversible key can be used. These tasks are solved
by the measures characterized in
The measures characterized in

daß sie dort die Rundung 11 bilden.1 shows the key and
The
The result of the
Einschubkanal.Another advantage of this solution is that the openings for the

Fig. 2 shows the
The
A und B in doppelter Ausführung angeordnet.
höheren Komfort verleiht.3 shows the
