Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for Fibrillation of a sheet-like textile fabric. she belongs generally to the field of textile finishing.
With the term "fibrillating" the generation becomes shorter Pieces of fiber, so-called microfibrils, on the surface of the fibers constituting the fabric. The microfibrils are the result of mechanical, enzymatic and / or chemical treatment of the textile fabric. This creates a "silk-like" grip. The resulting "peach skin" or "patina" gives the fabric improved case and appearance. For the fibrillation of textile fabrics are different Methods and devices known, e.g. with the aid of granular abrasives, such as sandpaper or diamond paper, or with rotating brushes.
A method for fibrillation by applying the textile fabric with high pressure fluid is the subject from WO97 / 19213. The high-pressure liquid comes out a variety of narrow openings on the continuously funded textile fabrics. The making of a Nozzle with such openings is expensive. In addition, the small diameter of the openings and their smaller mutual Distance due to deposits in the high pressure liquid dissolved salts and contaminants to stick together of the holes. The emerging from the openings separate jets of liquid can also an uneven, strip-shaped fibrillation of the web-like textile fabric.
It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a method and a device for fibrillating web-shaped Textile fabrics by applying high pressure liquid provide the disadvantages of the existing avoids. The device according to the invention and the Methods according to the invention are suitable for all types of Textile fibers, respectively for the textile fabrics made from them, however preferred for gentle fibrillation of fine and lighter fabrics.
The inventive method and the inventive Devices with which the object is achieved are in the independent claims.
The invention provides that the high pressure liquid as continuous liquid curtain across the entire width and on at least one side of the continuously funded Textile fabric strikes from a slot die. Such a slot die is simple and inexpensive producible. The shape of the exit slot of the slot die prevented due to their larger spatial dimensions and their continuous - compared to discrete holes Clogging due to contamination of the outlet opening High pressure fluid. Another advantage of the uninterrupted, gap-shaped outlet opening lies in one absolutely even liquid curtain with which the sheet-like textile fabric is applied. Interruptions in the liquid curtain due to design-related No defects in the nozzles occur.
Favorable fibrillation results are obtained by the liquid with a pressure of 25 to 70 bar of the slot die is fed and the current textile fabric at the point of impact of the liquid with a smooth, preferably impermeable, support surface, in particular in the form of a rotatable roller.
The cooking pressure fluid that causes fibrillation can suitably consist predominantly of water, which if necessary, additives can be added. These are supposed to facilitate or improve fibrillation and are preferred Swelling agent for cellulosic fibers. As such alkaline solutions are particularly suitable, e.g. Sodium hydroxide or sodium carbonate solutions. The inventive The method can be carried out particularly advantageously, when the liquid mixes with air the slot die is fed.
A continuous liquid curtain is dispensed preferably by means of a slot die, the outlet gap for the liquid continuously between 0.05 mm and 1 mm, preferably adjustable from 0.08 mm to 0.15 mm is. Storage of the wide slot nozzle also swiveling arms proves to be particularly suitable to achieve excellent fibrillation results. With This measure is the angle of incidence, which is between the Liquid curtain and the textile fabric stretched is infinitely adjustable. The angle can be about a range from 40 ° to 150 °, preferably 60 ° to 120 °, lie.
The distance between the exit slot of the slot die and Impact on the fabric should be preferred Do not exceed 200mm, advantageously not be larger than 150 mm. This is relevant because the distance is too large Pressure losses of the high pressure liquid at the point of impact caused and thereby unsatisfactory fibrillation leads.
The loading of the continuously conveyed web-shaped Fabric can be advantageously carried out if the Liquid supply line into one end of the slot die flows and to the other end of a return line for the Liquid is connected. With this connection on both sides the liquid can be circulated, which means a substantially uniform fluid pressure can be achieved over the length of the slot die and any deposits or incrustations washed away can be.
40000 mm2.Adequate and uniform supply of liquid and constant fibrillation over the entire gap width can be ensured above all if the cross section of the supply line for the liquid is substantially larger than the total cross section of the outlet gap.
As a result, under all operating conditions, significantly more liquid can always be conveyed to the wide slot nozzle than it lets through. Therefore, the ratio of the area of the pipe cross section of the feed line of the nozzle to the total area of the passage opening of the outlet gap should be at least 30 to 1, preferably 80 to 100 to 1 or greater.
With an outlet gap with a total area of 70 mm 2 to 400 mm 2, this results in a pipe cross section for the feed pipe with a total area of at least 2100 mm 2 to 40,000 mm 2 .
The device according to the invention for fibrillation comprises furthermore a drive device for guiding the textile fabric under the slot die and a drive and tensioning device for further transport of the textile fabric.

In the manner described, textile fabrics can all Be fibrillated, woven, knitted, crocheted, nonwovens, both from natural and synthetic Fibers.
Von der Faser C stehen Fibrillen F ab.FIG. 3 schematically shows a fibrillated cellulose fiber C, the component of a not shown here, in the described Way treated fabric is. From Fibrils F protrude from fiber C.
The detail shown in perspective in FIG. 4 and FIG. 5 shows the rotating roller 1 supporting and guiding the sheet-

In Figure 5, the slot die 6 is only one-
