Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Erfassung von Straßenbenutzungsgebühren, bei dem ein Straßenabschnitt laufend auf zu erfassende Fahrzeuge überwacht wird, bei dem bei Erfassung eines Fahrzeugs versucht wird, das Vorhandensein einer system-spezifischen Berechtigung festzustellen, bei dem das Kennzeichen des Fahrzeugs durch Abtastung und Bildauswertung ermittelt wird, wenn keine Berechtigung zur Benutzung des Straßenabschnitts festgestellt werden kann, bei dem bei fehlender Berechtigung weitere Maßnahmen eingeleitet werden, und bei dem erfindungsgemäß als solche weitere Maßnahme eine Abfrage in einer Datenbank oder einem Datenbanksystem durchgeführt wird, ob für dieses Fahrzeug eine auf andere, nicht systemspezifische Art erlangte Berechtigung vorliegt, sowie eine Erfassungsstelle dafür.
