Abstract
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine hydraulisch geregelte, zwangsgesteuerte Ventilhubbetätigung für einen Mehrventilzylinderkopf mit integriertem Ventilspielausgleich. Bei Brennkraftmaschinen mit mehr als einem Einlaßventil besteht bei geringen Drehzahlen das Problem, daß der Drall im Brennraum für eine gute Verbrennung unzureichend ist. Eine Verbesserung wird nur erzielt, wenn im niedrigen Drehzahlbereich nur ein Einlaßventil öffnet, so daß noch eine hinreichende Ansauggeschwindigkeit erzielt wird. Erfindungsgemäß wird dies bei zwei Einlaßventilen dadurch erreicht, daß in die Ventilbrücke 20 ein Massenträgheitsyentil 20a eingebaut wird, welches bei niedriger Drehzahl den Weg des Öls zur Kolben-Zylindereinheit 3b des Einlaßventils 2 sperrt, so daß der Druckraum der Kolben-Zylindereinheit 3b ohne Öl ist und das Einlaßventil 2 nicht öffnet. Der Weg des Öls zur Kolben-Zylindereinheit 3a ist dagegen ständig geöffnet, so daß das Einlaßventil 1 permanent betätigt wird und dort eine entsprechend hohe Einströmgeschwindigkeit auch bei niedriger Drehzahl realisiert wird. Bei steigender Drehzahl nimmt die Beschleunigung der Ventilbrücke 20 und des damit gekoppelten Massenträgheitsventils 20a zu, bis es gegen die Rückstellkraft einer Druckfeder 24 öffnet und den Weg des Öls über die Bohrung 25 und die Querbohrung 23 zu der Kolben-Zylindereinheit 3b freigibt, so daß auch das Einlaßventil 2 öffnet. The invention relates to a hydraulically controlled, positively controlled valve lift actuation for a multi-valve cylinder head with integrated valve clearance compensation. In internal combustion engines with more than one inlet valve, there is the problem at low speeds that the swirl in the combustion chamber is insufficient for good combustion. An improvement is only achieved if only one inlet valve opens in the low speed range, so that a sufficient intake speed is still achieved. According to the invention, this is achieved with two intake valves by installing a mass inertia valve 20a in the valve bridge 20, which at low speed blocks the path of the oil to the piston-cylinder unit 3b of the intake valve 2, so that the pressure chamber of the piston-cylinder unit 3b is without oil and the inlet valve 2 does not open. The path of the oil to the piston-cylinder unit 3a, on the other hand, is constantly open, so that the inlet valve 1 is permanently actuated and a correspondingly high inflow speed is realized there even at a low speed. With increasing speed, the acceleration of the valve bridge 20 and the mass inertia valve 20a coupled therewith increases until it opens against the restoring force of a compression spring 24 and releases the path of the oil via the bore 25 and the transverse bore 23 to the piston-cylinder unit 3b, so that also inlet valve 2 opens.
