Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Regeln der Schmierung, vorzugsweise bei Verbrennungsmotoren und eine Anordnung zum Regeln gemäß dem Verfahren, entsprechend dem Oberbegriffen des Haupt- und NebenanspruchesThe invention relates to a method for regulating the lubrication, preferably at Internal combustion engines and a control arrangement according to the method, according to the preamble of the main and secondary claim

A generic method for regulating the lubrication on the basis of operating parameters of an internal combustion engine is known by the document DE-P 753 580. The amount of lubricant, preferably for the cylinder lubrication of an internal combustion engine, is dimensioned and supplied depending on the operating state of the internal combustion engine. This is made possible by the following structure:
A centrifugal governor and the control rod of an injection pump, with the interposition of a lever system, form the actuator for a quantity-adjustable lubricant pump that is driven by the crankshaft of the internal combustion engine.
The result is a quantity of lubricant which is dependent on the quantity of fuel injected and the speed of the internal combustion engine and which is conveyed by the lubricant pump to the lubrication circuit of the internal combustion engine.

A similar arrangement is known from the document DE 36 37 031 A1 for diesel engines for the propulsion of ships. The oil pump is adjusted depending on the load, so that it guarantees sufficient lubrication at all lubrication points both at the rated speed or output and in the partial load range of the engine.
The invention is based on the one hand the task of creating a generic method for regulating the lubrication and on the other hand an arrangement for regulating according to the method. Input data that are present in or arise in the engine control unit and special functional data of the lubrication state as influencing variables are intended to ensure a safe lubrication state. According to the invention, this is achieved by a method and an arrangement with the respective features of the characterizing part of the main and secondary claims.

The arrangement according to the invention comprises a control circuit for the lubricant pump with a characteristic diagram for setpoint-dependent pressure values of the lubricant for one or more selected measuring points in the lubrication circuit. Depending on the operating state of the engine, setpoint pressure values of the lubricant can be called up from this map. A downstream unit, which receives the signals of the respective target pressure value and the current actual pressure of one of the selected measuring points of the lubrication circuit, forms a signal of the control deviation for a control device. This sets the effective direction of the actuator, which regulates the delivery rate of the lubricant pump, in accordance with the signal of the control deviation.
In the map, direct and indirect influences on the lubrication can be taken into account in all operating conditions of an engine for the quantity control of the lubrication pump. Details of the method and configurations of the arrangement according to the subclaims are explained in connection with the distributions achieved in the description.

Exemplary embodiments of the invention are described below with the aid of a drawing.
It shows:
Fig. 1
1 shows a schematic circuit diagram of an arrangement according to the invention for carrying out the method according to the invention,
Fig. 2
a schematic diagram of another embodiment of the invention.

Fig.1 zeigt einen Druekregelkreis 2, z.
1 shows a pressure control loop 2, e.g. B. for a driven by an internal combustion engine VM lubricant pump 1, the delivery rate is variable by means of an actuator 13. This lubricant pump 1 feeds the lubrication circuit DK, the z. B. is relieved via a throttle point to the return R. It is shown only schematically in FIGS. 1 and 2 without details.
The associated pressure control circuit 2 is constructed as follows. Setpoint pressure values p sw at a selected measuring point M, e.g. B. a lubrication circuit SK, are stored in a map 40 and can be entered when entering the parameters, for. B. the engine speed n, the load L and the engine temperature T, the current operating state of an internal combustion engine 35, can be read from this.

When comparing the read target pressure value p sw and the actual pressure p i at the selected measuring point M of the lubrication circuit SK, a control deviation RA is determined in a unit 41 and supplied to a control device 42.
If there is a control deviation RA, the actuator 13 is shifted via signals S13 of the control device 42, with an increase or decrease in delivery being set. This takes place until the actual pressure p i of the oil at the selected measuring point M in the lubrication circuit SK corresponds to the target pressure value p sw which is dependent on the operating state and is read from the characteristic diagram 40.
The temperature TL can advantageously be detected at a particularly vulnerable bearing point VL of the internal combustion engine VM, see FIG. 2. If the temperature TL exceeds a limit value, a maximum delivery F max of the lubricant pump is set. In this case, the remaining parameters of the operating state of the internal combustion engine VM have no influence on the set maximum delivery quantity Fmax.
The arrangement according to the invention for regulating the lubrication, see FIG. 1, according to the method has the following assemblies. A map 40 contains operating state-dependent setpoint pressure values p sw from one or more selected measuring points M of the lubrication circuit SK, which can be called up as a function of the signals of the operating state applied to the input. A unit 41 has signals on the input side of the respective target pressure value p sw and the current actual pressure p i , from which a signal of the control deviation RA is formed. A control device 42 feeds the actuator 13 in accordance with the signal of the control deviation RA and thus determines its direction of action and the position of the control lever of the lubricant pump 1. A unit 43, see FIG. 2, is advantageous for evaluating the temperature TL at a particularly vulnerable, the highest loaded bearing VL available. When the permissible temperature TL is exceeded, a signal Fmax for setting a maximum delivery of the lubricant pump 1 is generated.
This signal Fmax is present on the input side together with the signal of the control deviation RA of a priority circuit 44, only the output side being effective when the signal Fmax is present, with which a maximum delivery of the lubricant pump is set.

The actuator 13 can be an electromagnet, an electrical, hydraulic or be a pneumatic servomotor, its control directly or indirectly from the pressure control circuit 2 is done.
