Abstract

Der Turboverdichter (1) umfasst ein nach aussen gasdichtes Gehäuse (6) innerhalb welchem auf einer gemeinsamen Welle (13) ein Elektromotor (2) sowie ein mehrstufiger Radialturboverdichter (3) angeordnet sind, wobei zum Lagern der Welle (13) in deren Verlaufsrichtung elektromagnetische Radiallager (5) beabstandet angeordnet sind, und wobei zwischen dem Elektromotor (2) und dem Radialturboverdichter (3) eine die Welle (13) umschliessende Gasdichtung (19) angeordnet ist, um den Elektromotor (2) bezüglich dem Radialturboverdichter (3) abzudichten, wobei der Elektromotors (2) einen Innenraum (9b, 9c) aufweist, welcher fluidleitend mit einer das Gehäuse durchdringenden Austrittsöffnung (6h; 21) verbunden ist.

The turbocompressor (1) comprises an externally gas-tight housing (6) within which an electric motor (2) and a multi-stage radial turbocompressor (3) are arranged on a common shaft (13), with electromagnetic bearings being used to support the shaft (13) in its direction of travel Radial bearings (5) are arranged at a distance, and a gas seal (19) surrounding the shaft (13) is arranged between the electric motor (2) and the radial turbocompressor (3) in order to seal the electric motor (2) with respect to the radial turbocompressor (3), wherein the electric motor (2) has an interior (9b, 9c) which is connected in a fluid-conducting manner to an outlet opening (6h; 21) penetrating the housing.
