Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf die Erreichung/Wiederherstellung der Gebrauchsfähigkeit von Arbeitsoberflächen (3) von Glasbearbeitungsschneiden (1). Letztere bestehen aus einem festen Bearbeitungsmaterialkörper (2), der Diamantpartikel (8) in einem eine dreidimensionale Matrize formenden Bindematerial (9) enthält. Um die Gebrauchsfähigkeit zu erlangen/wiederherzustellen, wird die Bearbeitungsfläche (3) der Glasbearbeitungsschneide (1) auf einem Schärfkörper (4) bewegt, wobei als Schärfkörper (4) poröse Keramik oder poröses Glas verwendet wird, dessen die Poren (10) umgebende Keramik- oder Glaswände Mikrobruchstellen (11) aufweisen.
