Description

The invention relates to a system for parking space management and / or vehicle registration with vehicle detection in the interior and exterior by magnetic field traffic sensors.

In the context of parking management and / or traffic control systems a variety of sensors for registration and counting of vehicles involved are used. In general, the vehicles involved are registered upon entry into such a system by means of induction sensors and depending on existing parking space or existing traffic, the vehicles are then guided by means of trailblazing displays in accordance with desired direction. Induction loops and trailblazing displays such as light signals can be installed both in the interior and in the outdoor area of a park management room. Within covered car parks, a measurement of the parking space occupancy by means of ultrasonic sensors can additionally take place. This single-station measurement then provides an exact overview of the respective parking space occupancy. The occupancy can also be displayed on the single parking space. Within the covered area of a parking garage an accurate knowledge of the respective document status is guaranteed in the different parking areas. A detailed and accurate routing of drivers who drive into the park management room is thereby possible.

A discloses a system for guiding vehicles, for example cars, to a parking space as a function of the size of the vehicle, which is determined with the aid of image recognition.

The invention has for its object to provide a system which allows a simple and inexpensive way a leadership or management of vehicles to suitable parking spaces depending on the vehicle type.

This object is achieved by a system for parking space management and / or vehicle registration with vehicle detection in indoor and / or outdoor area by magnetic field traffic sensors, a registration device for registering a vehicle in the managed parking area incoming vehicle, a classification for classifying a vehicle type of retracted A vehicle, an allocation device for allocating a parking area with suitable parking spaces for the vehicle type, means for depositing the registration and classification of the vehicle and the parking area assigned to the vehicle in readable and / or machine-readable form, a routing device for directing the driver of the vehicle to the assigned parking area , Means for tracking the registered vehicle within the managed parking area and a further registration device for registering a vehicle leaving the managed parking area provide n are.

The invention is based on the finding that in a parking management system the most efficient and accurate counting and signposting of the vehicles involved should take place. In parking guidance systems using induction sensors, errors in the range of 20% to 30% occur in the determination of the number of vehicles involved, ie an insufficient accuracy of 70% to 80% is achieved. For the costs that occur in the management of parking space, especially in the urban area, it is therefore advantageous to achieve the most accurate counting of vehicles. The more accurate the count, the more efficient the system and the more efficient the park management space can be utilized and operated, resulting in a beneficial reduction in cost. An exact count is It is also advantageous for a parking guidance system in which the vehicles are guided or routed to free areas within the parking management system or between several parking management systems. In order to avoid unnecessary erroneous traffic due to incorrect numbers, a detailed knowledge of the vehicles actually parked in a certain area should also be available here. Through the use of magnetic field traffic sensors, an accuracy of 100% count can be achieved. For use in parking control rooms and parking guidance systems, these counting systems are therefore particularly suitable. In addition to saving space and the efficient housing of the vehicles involved, using magnetic field traffic sensors saves time for the drivers of the participating vehicles, and at the same time ensures precise routing reduces the total amount of park search traffic, thereby saving resources and thus the economy Environmental protection serves. Due to the possibility of using magnetic field sensors to determine a "genetic fingerprint" of a vehicle, ie, to determine the vehicle size or type of vehicle in terms of a category of types of similar design with similar characteristics, it is possible certain vehicles available for their own parking space to deliver. Small vehicles can thus be referred to parking areas in which the available parking spaces are relatively small, large vehicles are referred to parking areas with adequate parking spaces for their size. Overall, such a use of the system by sorting by vehicle types to better use of the available parking area, since they can be divided into different pitch sizes. The magnetic field traffic sensors can also be used for route tracking within the managed parking space, so that a once retracted vehicle tracked on its way to the parking lot area and finally occupied by the vehicle finally the pitch can be assigned to the original retracted vehicle. This is the knowledge of the exact Whereabouts of the originally retracted vehicle in the park management room ensured at all times. The recovery of a vehicle on its parking space is thus simplified. The use of the magnetic field sensors in the registration of the outgoing vehicles from the parking management room also allows an accurate count, so that a total of at any time the number of actually located within the park management space vehicles is known accurately.

Overall, the use of magnetic field traffic sensors offers the advantage that both counting and registration of the vehicles as well as route tracking and parking space occupancy can be determined by a single type of sensor, and that the determination of the vehicle type is very simple and cost-effective Way happens. No further means, be it cameras or other complex sensors for determining the vehicle type must be installed.

An advantageous embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the system has a further registration device for registering the individual occupancy status of the parking spaces available in the managed parking area. Due to the individual registration device, the manager of the parking space is not only generally aware in which area there are which number of vehicles, but the manager is rather informed about exactly where the individual vehicles are. This allows the operator to provide a very detailed routing of the drivers within the parking guidance system for guidance. Unnecessary search traffic is further reduced by this characteristic. This saves both time and resources and avoids unnecessary burden on the environment.

A further advantageous embodiment of the invention is characterized in that means for displaying the occupancy status of a parking space are provided directly on the parking space. By displaying the occupancy status, a passing driver within the area can be signaled immediately whether there is still free parking space available. This is especially advantageous in situations where smaller vehicles are hidden behind larger vehicles and a driver can not immediately recognize when approaching whether a parking space he has in mind is still free or not. This embodiment of the invention also leads to a speedier handling of the parking search traffic and thus to the reduction of time, costs and resources.

A further advantageous embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the system has an input device for entering assigned Stations assigned to certain parking spaces. The operator of the park management area is thereby given the opportunity to reserve certain areas. This option is advantageous when reserving for certain user groups or for reserving parking spaces for long-term parkers within the park management area. Because the parking space reserved by means of the input device receives the status occupied, this is also displayed directly on the parking space by the display and an occupancy of the parking space by unauthorized users is avoided. If the operator desires that certain parking areas be released one after the other, he can change the occupancy status for these areas in turn via his input device.

A further advantageous embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the system has a transmitting and receiving device for exchanging data with the magnetic field traffic sensors. This ensures that the occupancy states measured by the sensors can be sent to a central station within the system and that the statuses possibly assigned by the operator via the input device in the system can also be sent to the sensors. A laying of cables, which may be very complicated and expensive, can therefore be omitted. The use of the magnetic field traffic sensors or a substitution of other sensor systems is thereby given in a simple manner.

A further advantageous embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the system has a memory for storing data associated with a vehicle and for storing occupancy statuses. The advantage here is that the data are stored centrally in the system. A comparison of the data can be done and a complete overview of the exact situation within the system is possible at any time.

A further advantageous embodiment of the invention is characterized in that means for local and self-sufficient power supply of the magnetic field sensors are provided. This is possible, for example, by installing simple solar cells as known from calculators. Here, too, can therefore be dispensed with a complex wiring.

A further advantageous embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the system has a device for storing the readable and / or machine-readable code on a document. This makes it possible to specify the data on vehicle type, entry time and parking area on the receipt or the parking card that receives a customer when entering. The customer gets a direct, for him directly understandable information in text form and the machine-readable code can be assigned to the document all stored in the system associated data.

A further advantageous embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the system has a reading device for reading the machine-readable code on the document.

Thus, upon submission of the receipt for payment, both the vehicle type and the original registration, i. the time at which the vehicle has entered the park management system is read out and reported to the user of the vehicle. In addition, the driver can be informed of the assigned parking area, since it can be read by the reading device from the machine-readable code. This information makes it easy for the owner of the vehicle to find the area in which he originally parked the vehicle. After a long period of non-use of the vehicle, such as during a vacation, the driver does not have to search for his vehicle.

A further advantageous embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the system comprises means for assigning a price category depending on the vehicle type. One of the really required parking space size or parking space quality, for example, with or without roofing, dependent pricing is made possible. An equitable billing of the resources used can be made. This is especially for drivers of modern, specially designed for city traffic micro-vehicles advantage.

A further advantageous embodiment of the invention is characterized in that means are provided for indicating the position of the parking space on the receipt upon delivery of the receipt for paying for the use of the parking space depending on the deposited at the entry code, the vehicle type and the assigned parking area. This information makes it easier for the driver of the parked vehicle to find it again, since he only needs to look for a specific parking area communicated to him by the information.

A further advantageous embodiment of the invention is characterized in that means for indicating the exact position of the parking space upon delivery of the receipt for payment the use of the parking space depending on the code deposited at the entrance and provided by the associated vehicle from the entrance to the parking space route within the managed area are provided. This information can be made available to the driver of a vehicle in an advantageous manner, so that he can immediately find his parked car, since the exact parking space is specified.

A further advantageous embodiment of the invention is characterized in that means are provided for checking the correspondence of the vehicle assigned to a document when the document is issued for exit from the managed parking area and the vehicle actually leaving the parking area. The possibility of checking the match offers the advantage that it can be determined whether a vehicle that leaves the parking area also coincides with the data stored on the document issued at the same time. Such a check makes it difficult to leave the parking area with a usurpably appropriated, more valuable vehicle than the original one.

A further advantageous embodiment of the invention is characterized in that means are provided for the release or refusal of the exit of a vehicle from the managed parking area depending on the result of the conformity check. This provides the possibility that a refusal may be provided in case of mismatch of document and the corresponding outgoing vehicle. A simple way of theft protection is thus given. Extending vehicles can be driven out in this way only by drivers from the parking management system, if these drivers also give a to this exact vehicle associated receipt for the exit.

Das System 1 besteht aus einer weiteren Registriervorrichtung 19, die zur Registrierung des abschließend bewirtschafteten Parkbereichs verlassenen Fahrzeug vorgesehen ist.1 shows a schematic representation of an exemplary embodiment of a system 1 for parking space management and / or vehicle registration with vehicle detection in the interior 17 and exterior 18. The system 1 shown in FIG 1 essentially consists of a registration device 3, which is a einfahrendes in the Parkreich rich vehicle 16 registered. Furthermore, the system 1 consists of a classification device 4, which classifies the vehicle type 5 of the retracted vehicle 6. An allocation device 6 then assigns the classified vehicle type 5 suitable parking spaces 8 1... N within a parking area 7 of the parking space management system. Furthermore, the system 1 consists of a guide device 9, which is to assign the driver of the retracted vehicle 16 a path to the assigned parking area 7. Means for the route tracking of the registered vehicle 16 within the managed parking area to the assigned parking area 7 are available. The system 1 consists of a further registration device 19, which is provided for the registration of the finally managed parking area abandoned vehicle.

Bei Nicht-Übereinstimmung der Prüfung stehen Mittel zur Freigabe oder Verweigerung der Ausfahrt 15 zur Verfügung.1 also shows a registration device 10 which is provided for the registration of the respective individual occupancy status 11 of the parking spaces which are present in the managed parking area. On a document 12a In the form of a machine-readable code 13, the registration and classification of the vehicle 16 as well as the parking area 7 assigned to the vehicle can be stored as a function of the vehicle type 5. A voucher 12b submitted for payment after payment can be checked for its affiliation with the vehicle 16 currently leaving the parking area by means of means 14 for checking the match 14. If the exam is not compliant, funds will be available to release or refuse exit 15.

The peculiarity of the system 1 shown in FIG. 1 consists essentially in the fact that different vehicle types, depending on their size or other specific properties requiring special treatment, can be parked on different parking spaces suitable for the vehicle type. Here, suitable for the vehicle type 5 parking areas 7 are assigned directly from the system 1. A driver of a vehicle therefore does not have to search independently for the vehicle 16 suitable parking spaces 7 within the managed parking space. Instead, the guidance system 9 assigns it a suitable path through the managed parking area as a function of the assigned parking area 7. This saves time and money. A time saving results especially for the driver, who is led directly to a suitable parking space. A cost saving results especially for the operator of the management room, since depending on the required size different parking spaces can be provided. A waste of space by a uniform minimum size of the parking spaces is avoided. It is also advantageous in the illustrated embodiment of the system 1 that parking search traffic within the managed parking area is avoided. Another advantage for the driver, ie the user of the parking management system, results from the fact that the allocated parking area 7 is deposited on the document 12a which the driver receives when entering the parking management system is. Further storage of the route traveled by the driver within the parking management system in the memory 23 of the system 1 is advantageous, because this enables a later unique assignment of a parking space to the document 12a. Upon delivery of the receipt 12b for payment, the driver of the vehicle can thus be informed directly where exactly he / she finds the vehicle. Especially in parking management systems in which the drivers park their vehicles 16 over a longer period of time, this feature proves to be advantageous because the driver does not have to remember where the vehicle was parked. The system 1 thus ensures a quick location of a parked vehicle 16 within a park management room even after a prolonged parking period or when the vehicle picking up the person is unequal to the person who has parked the vehicle. By the means for checking the coincidence 14 of a document 12a originally obtained on entering with a vehicle 16 in the system 1 with a document 12b, which is delivered at the exit of the vehicle, there is the possibility to check whether the currently leaving the parking system Vehicle matches the registered on the original document 12a vehicle. This results in the simple possibility of theft verification. If the vehicle does not agree with the document, means are available for denying the exit 15 of the vehicle 16 from the managed parking area. When checking the document 12a with the document 12b for compliance, in addition to registered by the code 13 type of vehicle and registered time of entry, the route traveled by the vehicle 16 within the system 1 and the liberation of a corresponding parking space 8 1 ... n within the originally assigned parking areas 7 checked. Thus, the type of vehicle 5, the parking duration traveled route and the occupancy status of the corresponding parking space must match in order for the exit 15 to be released for the vehicle. The commonly used method by means of a cheap vehicle to draw a document and then a Breaking higher-value vehicle to leave the management room with the higher-value vehicle is thus easily and safely prevented.

The respective current document status of a parking space 11 can be determined with the aid of the magnetic field sensors 2 and displayed directly on the display 20. Their document status can be transmitted to the system 1 by the magnetic field sensors 2 by means of wireless communication. For this purpose, the system 1 has a transmitting and receiving device 22. Occupancy statuses assigned to specific parking spaces can be entered directly via an input device 21. The respective status can also be transmitted by means of wireless communication to the sensors 2 at the parking spaces. The status can then be displayed directly via the means for display 20. The system 1 furthermore has a memory 23 for storing occupancy statuses and the traveled routes of the vehicles in the management system and for storing all data associated with a vehicle 16, such as vehicle type 5, allocated time 7 and time of entry into the system 1.

The peculiarity of the embodiment of the system 1 shown in FIG. 2 is that the magnetic field sensors 2 do not have to communicate with the system 1 via a network. Current data, for example about the status occupied or not occupied, can be transferred directly to the system. An advantage of this form of data transmission, especially that the laying of cables for data transmission is unnecessary. The special use of this data transmission thus leads to cost savings. The fact that the pitch is directly displayed by a display 20, whether the space is free or possibly occupied by a permanent tenant, a false occupancy can be largely avoided. The electronic Display 20 can be addressed directly via the input device 21. This makes it possible to change the occupied status of parking spaces very quickly. This is particularly advantageous if in a parking management system, the user groups that use the parking spaces over a certain period, change frequently. A complex allocation of, for example, number plates to the corresponding parking spaces eliminated by this approach. The central storage of data on a memory 23 is particularly advantageous since both the individual data belonging to the vehicle 16 and also the distance covered in the parking management room and the current occupancy status can be stored centrally within the entire parking management system. This central storage offers the possibility that the system for checking the coincidence 14 of the document 12a with the vehicle leaving the management system can resort to uniform data.

In summary, the invention relates to a system 1 for the management of parking space and the signposting of the drivers involved in free and suitable parking spaces 8 1..n . Magent field traffic sensors 2 are used here, which are used for registering and typing the vehicles involved, for determining the parking space occupancy and for tracking the routes within the managed system. The use of the sensors is provided both indoors and outdoors. With the help of the system 1, a parking space allocation adapted to the vehicle type 5 and thus a better utilization of the available parking space is achieved. The system 1 further allows information of the driver when picking up the car on the location of the parking space, which is quite advantageous after a long absence, and better control of the outgoing vehicles for theft protection.
