Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Lenkflugkörper, der an seiner Spitze (10) einen Suchkopf aufweist, welcher durch eine im Flug ablösbare Schutzkappe (14,30) abgedeckt ist. Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine abwerfbare Schutzkappe zu schaffen, die ohne Beeinträchtigung des Flugkörpers abgeworfen werden kann. Das geschieht dadurch, daß die Schutzkappe (14;30) in wenigstens zwei Teile (20,22;34,36) längsgeteilt ist, die durch auslösbare Verbindungsmittel (24;40) zusammengehalten sind, und die Schutzkappe (14;30) nur im zusammengehaltenen Zustand durch ineinandergreifende Strukturen der Schutzkappe (14;30) und der Zelle des Flugkörpers formschlüssig mit der Zelle verbunden ist.

The invention relates to a guided missile which has at its tip (10) a seeker head, which is covered by a detachable in flight protective cap (14,30).
