Im zweiten Fall wird mit der jeweiligen Strukturierung bewirkt, dass die Lichtstrahlen der hinter der Abdeckung befindlichen Lichtquellen (z.B. Leuchtstofflampen) gestreut werden und gleichzeitig Blendeffekte vermieden werden. Ebenso bedeuten diese Konstruktionen jedoch, dass die Lichtstrahlen mittels der Strukturierung stark gebrochen werden, um die beabsichtigten Wirkungen zu erzielen, und das führt zwangsläufig zu einem gewissen Verlust bei der Lichtausbeute.For explosion-proof lights exist so far transparent covers made of plastic or glass, which are either transparent or in a variety of ways - by ribbing, ribbing, matting, etc. - are structured.
