Definitions
- the invention relates to a closure device, the lock side has a read head for reading the locking information of a key, wherein the read head has a first and a second contact surface, which can be brought into contact with associated contact surfaces of the key, whereby in the lock electronics, a switching current for the start of a Wake-up electronics for starting the transmitting and receiving electronics is turned on.
- closure devices are known for example as an I-button reader and an application is for example in the Austrian patent application A 1518/2004 described.
- the problem is solved in that the first and / or the second contact surface of the read head is a spring-loaded switching element, which is turned off in the rest position and turned on under the contact pressure of the key for switching the switching current and transmission of the key information.
- the disadvantages mentioned are avoided in principle by the fact that the two contact surfaces - without a key - have no charge. Only by pressing the key, the conductive connection is established and built the potential difference between the two contact surfaces, so that via the key of the current flow and subsequently the data flow can be made. The wake-up circuit of the electronics is always in operation.
- FIG. 1 shows an exploded view of a reading head of a closure device according to the invention.
- Fig. 2 shows a cross section through a read head with associated key.
- the exploded view shown in Fig. 1 shows only the read head.
- the first contact surface is formed by the reading ring 5, which can be screwed tightly in the door leaf.
- Inside the reading ring 5 sits the insulating plate 3, in the central bore of the second contact surface as a central contact pin 6 is slidably seated.
- This center contact pin 6 is sealed with respect to the insulating plate 3 by means of an O-ring 1 and protrudes under the pressure of the spring 7 on the outer surface of the insulating plate 3.
- the inner contact pin 9 of the center contact pin 6 is at an insulating distance to the contact pin 8, which is connected to a circuit board 10 leading to the switching electronics.
- Another contact pin protrudes through the printed circuit board 10 and a further insulating member 4 and communicates with the reading ring 5 in a conductive connection.
- Fig. 2 shows a cross section through an assembled read head of the closure device according to the invention in the rest position, wherein there is an insulating distance between the contact pin 9 of the center contact pin 6 and the contact pin 8. If you now bring a key in the form of an I-button in the read head, so a pressure in the direction 11 is exerted on the read head, which brings the center contact pin 6 against the pressure of the spring 7 with the contact pin 8 in a conductive connection. About the two connected to the electronics via the circuit board 10 pins 8, the reader ring, the conductive element 12 of the 1-button, and the center pin 6, the circuit is closed, which can discharge, for example, a capacitor of a wake-up and activated the lock electronics. Due to the otherwise mechanical separation between the center pin 6 and pin 8 any moisture may be present between the reading ring 5 and center pin 6, lead to any malfunction of the electronics more.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a closure device, the lock side has a read head for reading the locking information of a key, wherein the read head has a first and a second contact surface, which can be brought into contact with associated contact surfaces of the key, whereby in the lock electronics, a switching current for the start of a Wake-up electronics for starting the transmitting and receiving electronics is turned on.
In practice, in such closure devices, the problem arises that in damp rooms such as bathing establishments, swimming pools, saunas, etc., the moisture leads to a malfunction. When moisture is introduced onto the contact surfaces of the read head, leakage currents cause the lock electronics to malfunction. This occurs in particular when the reading head is connected to a so-called wake-up electronics, which causes the lock can be operated to save energy while at rest, while the current-consuming transmitting and receiving electronics is only turned on when a key comes into contact with the reading head , For starting the wake-up electronics, for example, low currents of a capacitor are used. This capacitor discharges prematurely when moisture leads to leakage currents. The problem to be solved here thus results from the fact that two contact surfaces of the reading head are close to each other on the surface and are added to the moisture. In addition to the creeping discharge, there is also an increased corrosion at the contact surfaces.
According to the invention, the problem is solved in that the first and / or the second contact surface of the read head is a spring-loaded switching element, which is turned off in the rest position and turned on under the contact pressure of the key for switching the switching current and transmission of the key information.
In this construction according to the invention, the disadvantages mentioned are avoided in principle by the fact that the two contact surfaces - without a key - have no charge. Only by pressing the key, the conductive connection is established and built the potential difference between the two contact surfaces, so that via the key of the current flow and subsequently the data flow can be made. The wake-up circuit of the electronics is always in operation.
Further features of the invention can be taken from the claims, the drawings and the following description.
Fig. 2 zeigt einen Querschnitt durch einen Lesekopf mit dazugehörigem Schlüssel.1 shows an exploded view of a reading head of a closure device according to the invention. Fig. 2 shows a cross section through a read head with associated key.
The exploded view shown in Fig. 1 shows only the read head. The first contact surface is formed by the
Only when the key is pressed in the form of an I-button against the center contact element and against the pressure of the
Fig. 2 shows a cross section through an assembled read head of the closure device according to the invention in the rest position, wherein there is an insulating distance between the
