Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a tea light envelope according to the preamble features of claim 1 and to a method for producing such a tea light envelope.
Tealights are generally known which are formed from a tealight envelope with a wax and / or paraffin body enclosed therein and a wick.
In general, a minimum wall thickness is required for the production of such tealight cases in order to ensure sufficient stability for in particular the peripheral side wall. Sufficient stability of the peripheral side wall is required for transporting empty tealight envelopes until they are fitted with a wax or paraffin body to prevent the peripheral side wall from bending. In the automatic loading of the empty tealight cases by inserting a correspondingly shaped wax or Paraffinkörpers sufficient stability of the circumferential side wall is required to not exactly exact introduction of the paraffin or wax body in the tealight envelope or deviations in the outer dimensions of the wax or Paraffinkörpers compressing or to prevent bending of the tealight envelope. In addition, a sufficient. Stability of the circumferential side wall in the subsequent use of the thus manufactured tealight required when the material of the paraffin or wax body during burning of the wick inserted therein is liquid and therefore the surrounding tealight envelope from the inside or inwards no support by the previously solid paraffin - or wax body experiences.
The object of the invention is to propose a tealight envelope, which is constructed in such a way that the consumption of material in the production of the tealight envelope can be further reduced. In particular, despite a further reduced material requirement, sufficient stability, in particular of the circumferential side wall of such a tealight envelope or of a tealight, should be ensured with such a tealight envelope.
This object is achieved by a tealight envelope having the features of patent claim 1 or by a tealight having such a tealight envelope. Also advantageous is a method for producing such a tealight envelope. Advantageous embodiments are the subject of dependent claims.
A tealight envelope is accordingly advantageous with a bottom wall and a circumferential side wall extending upwards from the bottom wall, wherein the side wall has a non-cylindrical cross section, wherein the side wall is wave-shaped and / or formed with a large plurality of at least 10 corners. Accordingly, it is also advantageous and preferred in combination such a tea light envelope with a bottom wall and extending from the bottom wall upwardly extending side wall, wherein the bottom wall is formed unstructured flat surface.
Waves and / or corners of the circumferential side wall extend advantageously around a central axis. The circumferential side wall is preferably formed with a wave structure, wherein outside wave peaks are formed as corners. The circumferential side wall of a dimensioned in the usual way tealight envelope has preferably more than 20, more preferably more than 40 waves and / or corners.
A wall thickness of the peripheral side wall is thereby thinner than 70 p, in particular thinner than 60 μ ausbildbar. A ratio of diameter to a number of waves or corners is less than 1, in particular less than 0.9 achievable. Usually, such a tea light envelope is made of a metallic material, in particular aluminum.
A tealight from such a tealight envelope, in which a paraffin and / or wax body is inserted with inserted But is also advantageous accordingly.
According to the method, a method for producing such a tealight envelope, in which the tealight envelope is formed by means of a stamping and deep-drawing method, is preferred.
- Fig. 1
- eine Teelichthülle in Draufsicht und
- Fig. 2
- die Teelichthülle im Schnitt in Seitenansicht.
- Fig. 1
- a tealight envelope in plan view and
- Fig. 2
- the tealight envelope in section in side view.
Fig. 1 and 2 show a preferred tealight envelope 1 made of a metallic material, preferably aluminum. A
From the
According to first experiments with a typical tealight envelope having a height h of 15-17 mm and a diameter d of 36-40 mm, a number of 15 to 50
The preparation of such a tealight 1 can take place in a manner known per se by punching a blank from an aluminum strip. Subsequently, the aluminum blank is clamped between a cutting punch and a fold holder or hold-down. Thereafter, the cutting punch, which in its center has a correspondingly wavy or provided with a plurality of corners opening or bore, moves down, whereupon a mold ring with the aluminum ridge dips into the cutting punch. If the desired height h of the lateral border is reached in such a drawing process 3, this is stopped. Subsequently, a side flange for forming the bead 4 is driven into the molded part with an embossing punch. Finally, the individual. Tool components again moved apart and the cup-shaped metal housing from the cutting punch for subsequent filling with a paraffin or wax body which is provided with a wick, ejected.
