Im Schritt 100 wird ein Zeitraum ZR1, innerhalb welcher das Hörprogramm HP1 selektiert bleibt, gemessen. Im darauffolgenden Schritt 101 wird eine neue Reihenfolge nRF der Programmplätze mit Hilfe eines Lernalgorithmus unter Einbeziehung des ermittelten Zeitraums ZR1 ermittelt. Wenn eine vorgebbare Zeitspanne ZSP abgelaufen ist wird im Schritt 102 die Reihenfolge der Programmplätze entsprechend der ermittelten Reihenfolge nRF verändert. Ist die Zeitspanne ZSP noch nicht abgelaufen oder wird ein anderes Hörprogramm HP2 entsprechend Schritt 99 gewählt, erfolgt eine fortgesetzte oder neue Messung eines Zeitraums. Verfahren zum Einstellen eines Hörgeräts, bei dem Hörprogramme selektierbar sind, wobei die Programmplätze der Hörprogramme eine vorgebbare Reihenfolge aufweisen, gekennzeichnet durch - Ermittlung (100) von Zeiträumen (ZR1, ZR2, ...), innerhalb welcher Hörprogramme selektiert sind, - Ermittlung (101) einer neuen Reihenfolge (nRF) der Programmplätze mit Hilfe eines Lernalgorithmus unter Einbeziehung der ermittelten Zeiträume (ZR1, ZR2, ...) und - Veränderung (102) der Reihenfolge der Programmplätze nach einer vorgebbaren Zeitspanne (ZSP) entsprechend der ermittelten Reihenfolge (nRF).
