Abstract

Eine erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung (10) zum Trennen von Material (30) in mehrere Materialfraktionen (34, 38, 42) umfasst ein Scheibensieb (12) mit einer Transportrichtung (T) für darauf aufgebrachtes Material (30), die von einem Scheibensiebanfang (14) zu einem Scheibensiebende (16) verläuft, zum Bereitstellen einer ersten Fraktion (34) des aufgebrachten Materials als Siebfraktion unterhalb des Scheibensiebes (12) und einer zweiten Fraktion (38) des aufgebrachten Materials als Überkornfraktion am Scheibensiebende (16), wobei durch wenigstens eine Modifikation der Scheibensiebkonstruktion eine verbesserte Trennungsgenauigkeit bzw. vereinfachte Anpassbarkeit der Trenncharakteristik an die Beschaffenheit und Zusammensetzung des zu trennenden Materials (30) erzielt wird. Ein bevorzugtes Anwendungsgebiet der Erfindung ist die Trennung von Grüngut (30) im Rahmen der Bereitstellung und/oder Aufbereitung von Kompostiergut.
