Als shown in Fig. 2 of the drawings it will be seen that the metal suspension ring l is adapted, to fit within the inner 'tace of the bowl G, although entirely independent of the same, the inwardly projecting bends 7 in said ring allows the ring to pass below the plurality of hooks when the hooks and bends are caused to register with each other, and then by giving a` short turn to either the right or le'lt the ring will pass beneath the hooks and thus support the bowl in suspended position, and in order to cause Yhe bowl to assume a position to be reoily cleaned. such as shown in Fig. 2? it is simply necessary to gire the bowl a short turn causing the hooks lll to register with the bends 7 in the ring thereby allowing the bowl to drop below the fixture to a suitable distance therefrom and remain siupported by the chains 19 until properly cleansed.

A lighting fixture comprising ay metal ring suspended by a plurality ofehains, said ring having a plurality of inwardly projecting bends, a suspension member tixedly cured within each projecting bend, an electric lamp removably secured to each suspension member in a position parallel to said ring, and a bowl of light dill'using material supported by said ring when surrounding the ring and when suspended below the rinU.

A lighting fixture comprising a metal rimr suspended by a plurality of chains, said ring haring a plurality of inwardly extending bends, a suspension member within each extending bend, said suspension member being provided with a shouldered portion upon which the ring is adapted to rest, and each suspension member being lixedly secured to the ring within each olf said bends, and a bowl of light dili'using material supported by said ring but iudeliiendcnt thereof.

A lighting lixture coniprising a metal ring suspended by a plurality ol chains,said ring haring a plurality of inwardly projectlng bends, a suspension member ilxedly secured within each o'l' said projecting bends, a plurality of electric lamps ren'iovably supported by said ring, and a light dilfusiug bowl having a metal rim surrounding the upper edge portion thereof, and a pluralit oli inwardly extended hooks integral witi `said. rim, said bowl being supported by said ring when resting beimath said hooks and within the bowl.

A llighting fixture comprising a metal ring suspended by a plurality of chains, said ring haring a plurality oi inwardly projecting bends, a suspension member lixedly secured within each of said projecting bends, an electric lamp removably secured to the threaded portion ol each suspension member in a plane parallel with said ring, and a light dillusiug bowl haring a metal rim surrounding the upper edge ot' the bowl, said riin haring a plurality ol integral inwardly ['n'ojectiug hooks, and a plurality of inwardly projecting uienibers prorided with a ]u\,1io1'ation therethrough adapted to receive one end ol a chain, the other end of the chain being attached to the ring, whereby said lowl is supported in its normal position or in a suspended position below said ring.
