The present invention relates to a meatsaw and has for its prime object to provide a power driven saw in this nature which is eX- ceedingly simple in its construction, light,

Referring to the drawings in detail it will be seenthat the letter F denotes generally an elongated frame which in the present instance this frame F comprises an elongated straight hollow upper rail 5 which merges at 40 its ends into arcuate channel end rails 6 which in turn merge into bottom rail segments 7 terminating in spaced relation to each other and of channel construction having inwardly directed flanges 8.

It is apparent that changes in the details of construction, and in the combination and arrangement of parts may be resorted to without departing from the spirit or scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed 0r sacriicing any of its advantages.
Having thus described our invention, what we claim as new is:
l. A saw structure of the type embodying an elongated frame having an upper hollow elongated straight rail merging at its ends into arcuate end-rail channeled construction which in turn merge into inwardly directed bottom channeled rail sections terminating in spaced relation to each other, a plurality of guide pulleys journalled along the curve of the end rails, cables in the rails trained over the pulleys, a saw between the ends of the cables, and means in the form of a rotor disposed longitudinally upon the upper rail and having a double spiral groove therein for receiving a pin projecting from a block slidably disposed thereunder in the upper rail to which the said cable is secured, whereby to reciprocate a saw blade slidably maintained between the mentioned bottom channeled sections,

A saw structure of the type described embodying an elongated frame composed of an upper hollow elongated straight rail hav- Ving at its end arcuate end rails of channeled construction which in turn merge into inwardly directed bottom channeled rail sections terminating in spaced relation to each other and parallel to the upper rail, a plurality of guide pulleys journalled in the end rails, and spaced apart, cables in the rails trained over the pulleys, a saw between 'the ends of the cables, and means mounted on the upper rail in the form of a rotor having a double spiral groove therein for receiving a pin from a block slidable in the upper rail and under the rotor, having said cables attached thereto whereby to reciprocate the saw.

A saw structure of the type described vcomprising a frame consisting of a straight elongated tubular body having on each end a merging dependent outwardly opened arcuate channel, on the lower inward end of which extends inwardly and parallel to the tubular body a tubular bearing extension, a saw blade having a bearing block on each end slidable in one of said tubular eXtensions a plurality of arcuately spaced guide pulleys in each of said arcuate channels, a cable led over the pulleysl in each channel from each of said bearing blocks, and means for 4moving said cables to `reciprocate the saw, comprising, a cylindrical housing In testimony whereof We afiix our signatures.
