Abstract
The invention relates to a temperature-preserving electrically heated cooker comprising a body comprising a housing and a container between which a first temperature-preserving chamber is constituted; a lid connected to the upper part of said body; heating means for heating said container; a controller for controlling a heating time and a heating temperature of said heating means; and a base positioned under said body and connected separately thereto. The temperature-preserving electrically heated cooker according to the invention is of a simple structure, and can be used not only to cook, but also to keep the food warm.
Description
- The invention relates to a household cooker, more particularly to a temperature-preserving electrically heated cooker.
- 1. Background of the Invention
- A conventional electrically heated cooker keeps food warm by intermittently heating, but its structure does not have such a function. To keep food warm for a long time means a big waste of energy. However, a conventional temperature-preserving container cannot be used to cook food.
- 2. Disclosure of the Invention
- An object of the invention is to provide a temperature-preserving electrically heated cooker to solve problems in the prior art.
- A temperature-preserving electrically heated cooker according to the invention, comprising
- a body comprising a housing and a container between which a first temperature-preserving chamber is constituted;
- a lid connected to the upper part of said body airtightly;
- heating means for heating said container;
- a controller for controlling a heating time and a heating temperature of said heating means; and
- a base positioned under said body and connected separately thereto.
- Said first temperature-preserving chamber in said body may be a vacuum space or may be filled with insulating materials.
- Said lid may comprise a second temperature-preserving chamber, which may be a vacuum space or may be filled with insulating materials.
- Said heating means may be a heating film or a plurality of electrically heating tubes positioned on the outside of the container. The number of the electrically heating tubes depends on the heating temperature or the heating time needed for cooking.
- Said electrically heating tubes may be disposed on the bottom of the container and/or on the outer side of the container, and may be covered by insulating materials.
- In the cooker of the present invention, a control panel may be arranged on the base to control the heating time and the heating temperature.
- The temperature-preserving electrically heated cooker according to the invention may further comprise a base support disposed under the body. Insulating materials may be filled between the base support and the body.
- FIG. 1 is a side cross sectional view showing an embodiment of the temperature-preserving electrically heated cooker in accordance with the present invention.
- FIG. 2 is a side cross sectional view showing another embodiment of the temperature-preserving electrically heated cooker in accordance with the present invention.
- FIG. 3 is a side cross sectional view showing a further embodiment of the temperature-preserving electrically heated cooker in accordance with the present invention.
- The invention will be described in details with the following examples in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.
- FIG. 1 shows a temperature-preserving electrically heated cooker in accordance with the present invention. In the Figure, an inner wall1 a and an outer wall 1 b of a
lid 1 constitute a vacuum space; and aninner wall 3 a of and anouter wall 3 b abody 3 constitute another vacuum space. Thelid 1 and thebody 3 are tightly locked together with a buckle and a sealingwasher 2 to prevent food from leaking or spelling. - Heating means4 comprising a plurality of electrically heating tubes are arranged on the outer surface of the
wall 3 a of thebody 3. The heating means 4 do not contact the inner surface of thewall 3 b of thebody 3. Thus, when food in the cooker is heated with the electrically heating tubes, while theouter wall 3 b of thebody 3 is kept at an ambient temperature. Atemperature sensor 14 is fitted on theinner wall 3 a of thebody 3 and is separated from theinner wall 3 a of thebody 3 with insulating materials so as to measure the real temperature in the container. - The
body 3 of the cooker is fixed on asupport 9. Aplug 5 connected to theouter wall 3 b of thebody 3 is set on thesupport 9. One end of theplug 5 is connected to the heating means 4 and thesensor 14 through a lead and the other end is inserted into asocket 6 set on abase 8. Acontrol panel 7 is set on thebase 8 to control the heating time and power of the heating means 4. - When the
body 3 is put on thebase 8, theplug 5 is inserted into thesocket 6. Thus, the container is heated. After food is cooked well, the power is switched off. However, the food is still kept warm for a long time even if thebody 3 is moved from thebase 8. - An
exhaust pipe 10 is fixed on thelid 1. Theexhaust pipe 10 is open to air at one end through a sealingwasher 2 and thelid 1, and is connected to the inside of the container to discharge the steam therein so that the pressure in the cooker can be reduced for safety. - FIG. 2 shows another temperature-preserving electrically heated cooker in accordance with the present invention. In the Figure, heating means4 is fixed and exposed on the outer surface of the bottom of the
body 3. The heating means 4 may consist of a plurality of electrically heating tubes or an electrically film. Said electrically heating tubes are enclosed by the bottom of thebody 3 and thesupport 9 of the body. Other parts of the cooker are the same as those described in Example 1. - FIG. 3 shows another temperature-preserving electrically heated cooker in accordance with the present invention. The cooker in this example is similar to that in Example 1, except that a temperature control is set in a mechanical manner.
- A
stand 11 of a thermostat is set on thebase 8. Aspring thermostat 12 is set between thehousing 13 of the thermostat and thestand 11. When thebody 3 is placed on thebase 8, the housing of the thermostat contacts the inner wall of thebody 3 via a press spring to control the temperature of heating. - The present invention possesses advantages that the cooker is of a simple structure, and can be used not only to cook, but also to keep the food warm.
