However, as they remain as a toy after all, they are left alone, as its owner gets tired of them. Also, there is a possibility that remote controllers may be broken in such cases as being lost, dropped, or stepped on as their size is relatively small. [0004]
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • Objects of this invention are to provide a new type of stuffed toy which is able to prevent one from losing or breaking a remote controller and at the same time the present invention can be used for a long time as a necessity of life. [0005]
  • A stuffed toy comprises a flexible body and a remote controller operating area of a household electrical appliance in the flexible body. [0006]
  • MEANS TO SOLVE THE PROBLEMS
  • A stuffed toy of this invention comprises a flexible body and a remote controller operating area of a household electrical appliance in the flexible body. TV, Video, CS/BS tuner, audio player, air conditioner or lights etc. are examples of such household electrical appliances. Also, a flexible body is sewn into a shape of an animal and the switches of the remote controller operating area are distributed and provided in each part of the flexible body to improve the operationability of the operation parts of the remote controller without losing the original lovable character of pet in this invention of the stuffed animal toy. In this case, it is preferred to provide an infrared light irradiating plate of the remote controller operation area and a battery exchange slit in the back of the flexible body, which is in animal shape. Also, it is desirable to cover the battery exchange slit with a Velcro fastener in order to maintain the opening and closing function and not to adversely affect the attractiveness of the stuffed animal toy. [0007]
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 is a front view of a stuffed toy showing one of the embodiments of the invention. [0008]
  • FIG. 2 is a back view of the stuffed toy.[0009]
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
  • As FIG. 1 illustrates, a stuffed animal toy in this embodiment is sewn into a shape of an animal whose [0010] flexible body 1, the body, in this case, imitates a bear. A remote controller operating area 10 is built into a trunk 2 of the flexible body 1 to control TV remotely, and switches 11˜16 of the remote controller operating area 10 are distributed and provided in each area of the flexible body 1 in order to make them clearly identifiable.
  • In short, a power on-off [0011] switch 11 is provided in the trunk 2 of the bear, a switch for increasing volume 12 is provided in the left hand 3 of the bear and a switch for reducing volume 13 is in the right hand 4 of the bear. Also, a channel up switch 14 is provided in the left leg 5 of the bear and a channel down switch 15 is in the right leg 6 of the bear. A video changeover switch 16 is provided in the left ear 7 of the bear.
  • Thus, a user is able to operate these switches [0012] 11-16 without any confusion. Also, since the frequently used switches 12-16, that is the volume up, volume down, channel up, channel down and video changeover switches, are provided in the extremities of the bear, the user can enjoy the sense of touch when operating the switches. Further, switches 11-16 are covered with felt pieces of a different color from the body of the bear. Moreover, switches 11˜16 are covered with felt pieces in different colors from the color of the body.
  • FIG.[0013] 2 illustrates that an infrared light irradiating plate 17 of the remote controller operating area 10 is provided in the back of the flexible body 1 and the signals from the remote controller can be radiated toward the TV from the back of the bear, as one operates it with switches 11˜16 while facing the bear. Also, a battery exchange slit 18 is provided in the back of the flexible body 1 and this battery exchange slit 18 is covered with a Velcro fastener 19 in order to maintain its opening and closing function and not to adversely affect the attractiveness of the stuffed toy.
  • A stuffed toy in the accordance with the invention can have the structure of not only a toy but also a necessity of life with a high level of functionality and one can use this regularly since the [0014] flexible body 1 and the remote controller operating area 10 are as one. Also, the remote controller operating area 10 is built into the flexible body 1 which is relatively large so, in contrast, to usual cases, there is no possibility of losing the remote controller and no need to worry about breaking it even if it is dropped or stepped on.
  • Further, this invention is not limited to the above embodiments and it is possible to add other functions or change its shape and structure as appropriate in the range of the aims of this invention, as follows below. [0015]
