TV, Video, CS/BS tuner, audio player, air conditioner or lights etc. are examples of such household electrical appliances. Also, a flexible body is sewn into a shape of an animal and the switches of the remote controller operating area are distributed and provided in each part of the flexible body to improve the operationability of the operation parts of the remote controller without losing the original lovable character of pet in this invention of the stuffed animal toy. In this case, it is preferred to provide an infrared light irradiating plate of the remote controller operation area and a battery exchange slit in the back of the flexible body, which is in animal shape. Also, it is desirable to cover the battery exchange slit with a Velcro fastener in order to maintain the opening and closing function and not to adversely affect the attractiveness of the stuffed animal toy.
- FIG. 1 is a front view of a stuffed toy showing one of the embodiments of the invention.
- FIG. 2 is a back view of the stuffed toy.
- As FIG. 1 illustrates, a stuffed animal toy in this embodiment is sewn into a shape of an animal whose
flexible body 1, the body, in this case, imitates a bear. A remotecontroller operating area 10 is built into atrunk 2 of theflexible body 1 to control TV remotely, and switches 11˜16 of the remotecontroller operating area 10 are distributed and provided in each area of theflexible body 1 in order to make them clearly identifiable. - In short, a power on-off
switch 11 is provided in thetrunk 2 of the bear, a switch for increasingvolume 12 is provided in the left hand 3 of the bear and a switch for reducingvolume 13 is in the right hand 4 of the bear. Also, a channel upswitch 14 is provided in the left leg 5 of the bear and a channel downswitch 15 is in theright leg 6 of the bear. Avideo changeover switch 16 is provided in the left ear 7 of the bear. - Thus, a user is able to operate these switches11-16 without any confusion. Also, since the frequently used switches 12-16, that is the volume up, volume down, channel up, channel down and video changeover switches, are provided in the extremities of the bear, the user can enjoy the sense of touch when operating the switches. Further, switches 11-16 are covered with felt pieces of a different color from the body of the bear. Moreover,
switches 11˜16 are covered with felt pieces in different colors from the color of the body. - FIG.2 illustrates that an infrared
light irradiating plate 17 of the remotecontroller operating area 10 is provided in the back of theflexible body 1 and the signals from the remote controller can be radiated toward the TV from the back of the bear, as one operates it withswitches 11˜16 while facing the bear. Also, abattery exchange slit 18 is provided in the back of theflexible body 1 and thisbattery exchange slit 18 is covered with a Velcrofastener 19 in order to maintain its opening and closing function and not to adversely affect the attractiveness of the stuffed toy. - A stuffed toy in the accordance with the invention can have the structure of not only a toy but also a necessity of life with a high level of functionality and one can use this regularly since the
flexible body 1 and the remotecontroller operating area 10 are as one. Also, the remotecontroller operating area 10 is built into theflexible body 1 which is relatively large so, in contrast, to usual cases, there is no possibility of losing the remote controller and no need to worry about breaking it even if it is dropped or stepped on. - Further, this invention is not limited to the above embodiments and it is possible to add other functions or change its shape and structure as appropriate in the range of the aims of this invention, as follows below.
