Description
- This invention relates to a personal multi-purpose case for storing and transport a variety of products aimed to improve its use and handling with regard to the similar cases.
- Cases for personal use to store and transport several articles, such as creams or medicines, have already known. Normally these cases have small dimensions, thus they are transported in pockets, suitcases, pouches, etc.
- Therefore, these cases are not always near to the user, and this is a trouble when these cases are used to store a medicine, solar cream, hydrating creams, etc.
- The prior art discloses many similar cases, but its fixing to an object worn by the user, such as belts, bracelets, etc. shows different solutions, requiring a specific mould to be made, increasing the production cost.
- Generally pouches and handbags manufactures provides a device, like a pocket, aimed to organize small personal objects, however in practice these objects become mixed within the pouch or handbag, causing some discomfort to find any of these objects.
- Having in mind the above-mentioned problems a new multi-purpose case according to the present invention was developed. The multi-purpose case is aimed for personal use being fixed through a malleable ring, to bracelets, suit baths, twill visors, necklaces, watches belt, etc. becoming suitable, useful and easily used at the beach, clubs, outdoors, home, office, etc. The multi-purpose case can be always conveniently affixed to a cloth or to any user's wearable object.
- The multi-purpose case solves the mentioned problems, since this multipurpose case is suitable for personal use because it is easily wore by the user, without causing any bother and is always accessible to be handled, besides that its manufacture has an attractive cost.
- It is to be understood that the multi-purpose case use is not limited to the examples described herein; on the contrary, each user will use such multi-purpose case according its specific application, within the scope of the described features.
- The present multi-purpose case comprises an ovate elliptical section lower portion and an ovate elliptical section convex upper lid, said lower portion comprising:
- a plane surface on its external lower portion to rest the multi-purpose case upon any surface, such multi-purpose case has a peripheral curved form arising from the plane surface ending in a projecting peripheral portion provided in its projected frontal end, forming an internal elliptical hollow space which contains the product to be stored;
- curved recessed cavities on each external lower portion in its middle side portion, upon the minor axle of the elliptical case, having protruding rectangular hooks to engage the resilient retention means;
- a curved projected protruding out from the external posterior portion, upon the major axle of the elliptical case in order to retain in a hinged way said ovate elliptical section convex upper lid; and
- a trapezoidal recessed cavity on the external frontal portion, upon the major axle of the elliptical case in order to facilitate the insertion of the user's finger to open the upper lid of the multipurpose case;
- said ovate elliptical section convex upper lid being provided with a rectangular element in its posterior middle portion pivotally engaged to said curved projected protruding which is attached in a hinged way of said ovate elliptical section convex upper lid to said elliptical lower portion, and in its middle posterior portion of projection to join in a flip-flop system said projection.
- The objects and advantages of the multi-purpose case will become more apparent from the following detailed description when taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.
-
FIG. 1 is a perspective side view of the multi-purpose case; -
FIG. 2 is a frontal view of the multi-purpose case; -
FIG. 3 is a posterior view of the multi-purpose case; -
FIG. 4 is an upper view of the multi-purpose case; -
FIG. 5 is a lower view of the multi-purpose case; -
FIG. 6 is a perspective view of the multi-purpose case; -
FIG. 7 is a perspective view of the multi-purpose case with its user's attach means; - As showed on the above-mentioned figures, in which numeric references identifying the corresponding elements, the multi-purpose case is designed generally by the
number 10, and comprising an ovate elliptical sectionlower portion 12 and a ovate elliptical section convexupper lid 14, saidlower portion 12 comprising: - a
plane surface 16 on its external lower portion to rest the multi-purpose case upon any surface, such multi-purpose case has a peripheralcurved form 12 arising from the plane surface ending in a projectingperipheral portion 18 provided in its projectedfrontal end 20, forming an internal ellipticalhollow space 22 which contains the product to be stored; - curved
recessed cavities 24 on each central side portion in its middle side portion, upon the minor axle of the elliptical case, having protrudingrectangular hooks 26 to engage the resilient retention means 28; - a curved projected protruding 30 out from the external posterior portion, upon the major axle of the elliptical case, to retain in a hinged way said ovate elliptical section convex
upper lid 14; and - a trapezoidal
recessed cavity 32 on the external frontal portion, upon the major axle of the elliptical case, to facilitate the insertion of the user's finger to open theupper lid 14 of themultipurpose case 10; - said ovate elliptical section convex
upper lid 14 being provided with arectangular element 34 in its posterior middle portion pivotally engaged to said curved projected protruding 30 which is attached in a hinged way said ovate elliptical section convexupper lid 14 to said ovate ellipticallower portion 12, and in its middle posterior portion ofprojection 36 to join in a flip-flop system saidprojection 20. - Then, the ovate elliptical section convex
upper lid 14 is hinged to the ovate ellipticallower portion 12 by inserting therectangular element 34 provided on posterior portion of the ovate elliptical section convexupper lid 14 pivotally engaged at the curvednotched projection 30 provided in the central posterior portion of the ovate ellipticallower portion 12, so a hinged connection takes place between thelower portion 12 and theupper lid 14, causing the fitting and closure ofmulti-purpose case 10 contacting theupper lid 14 internalperipheral surface 38 against the projectingperipheral portion 18 of thelower portion 12, andprojections lid 14 andlower portion 12, respectively, forming a fitting and closing system namely in art as flip-flop. - The opening of multipurpose case is a very easy operation; the user put his fingertip, or nail, in the trapezoidal
recessed cavity 32 on the middle portion oflower portion 12, and with a upright movement unlock thelid 14 fromlower portion 12. - The
multi-purpose case 10 is attached to several objects, such as, suit baths, twill visors, watches belt, necklaces, bracelets, backpacks, and to the temple of a pair of eyeglasses, is viewed inFIG. 7 , that shows the resilient retention means 28, such as a elastic ring or O-Ring, directly in therectangular hooks 26, which are provided in the side middle portions oflower portion 12, passing the objects in which themultipurpose case 10 should be held through the semi-circles formed by resilient retention means 28 after fixing its to therectangular hooks 26. - Therefore, the multi-purpose case is used to be attached to several objects, such as, suit baths, twill visors, necklaces, bracelets, backpacks, watch belt and to accessories, like a the temple of a pair of eyeglasses which are commonly used on the user's body, and several others surfaces near to the user, making easy the access by the user to the several products held or transported into the
multi-purpose case 10. - Additionally, the
multi-purpose case 10 may be used as an advertising medium, since its ovate ellipticallower portion 12 has a surface suitable to include trademarks or advertising messages. - The multi-purpose case of the present invention is designed with rounded corners and curved edges and made with soft, plastic, skin-safe material to reduce the chance of snagging material or scratching a person's skin. These materials are well known and the multi-purpose case can be formed using several different methods such as blow or injection molding.
- As therein before described it is to be understood that the multi-purpose case may be made in several sizes and capacities in order to allow different user needs, besides that provides a useful way to hold and transport the products stored into multi-purpose case.
