Abstract

A slipper member has a holder formed therein, and an interchangeable unitary assembly that is an alarm timer, is easily slid within the holder and is retained in between upper and lower layers of encircling slipper member that is conjoined with a fastening mechanism. The assembly comprises a micro battery timer with set timings and a on and off lever.

Description

This invention relates generally to footwear and more specifically without limitation to footwear having two in one positioning, a holder for a manual alarm timer, particular to slippers.

DESCRIPTION OF THE RELATED ART

It is well known that you need to take medicine on a timely basis and to have it near. It is good to have footwear that can tote a timer and medicine all at the same time, for example, if user subtracts upper layer from lower layer it will expose area of which timer mechanism will be placed in and when add back upper layer encircling member it will enclose area. The timer can be adjusted by user after taken out of holder, by pulling zipper from left to right on encircling member and manually set or just turn off by the shut off lever from which is formed in the base plate. Let this also be known as option, medicine can be added into holder also, present invention can be worn indoors and outdoors.
Although some footwear for adults has attempted to provide extra options, there are provisions which are needed, for example a zipper mechanism for easy abstraction of upper layer from bottom layer of encircling member, also as an enhancement two different distinctive designs on the right encircling member just as well of the left encircling member, preferable with glow in dark threads. Let it be known enhancing mechanism will only function when left under sunlight for period of time during day. The holder is in between lower and upper layer which is constructed of satin, or similar material texture.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

It is therefore a first object of the present invention to provide a manual set timer. This is a controlled method that enables user to set time for next dosage. A compact holder is for containing timer.

User selects required time by intervals turning dial to perform every four to every six hours whichever is need for user, an alarm signal is activated when actual time reaches the adjusted alarm from integrated micro speaker. The holder of the present invention containing the upper and lower layers of the widest portion of the widest portion of the holder is held together with a zipper to prevent timer from being dispensed when walking on the footwear.
During use, the wearer walks with timer in between layers, with light padding in lower layer of encircling member for comfort.
By selecting material suitable, let it be known that lower layer will be satin or similar material that will be padded for extra comfort and upper layer will be of similar material, let it also be known that the encircling member will have enhanced glow in the dark threads sewn in two distinctive designs, other objects of the present invention will become apparent from the following description of drawings.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

As required, detailed embodiments of the present invention are disclosed herein, however, it is to be understood that the disclosed embodiments are merely exemplary of the invention, which may be embodied in various forms. Therefore, specific structural and functional details disclosed herein are not to be interpreted as limiting, but merely as a basis for claims, and as a representative basis for teaching one skilled in the art to variously employ the present invention in virtually any appropriately detailed structure.
The reference numeral 1 generally refers to an adult's footwear in accordance with the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 1 through 5. The adult's footwear 1 comprises a slipper member 3, a manual alarm timer 5, and an enhancing mechanism 7.

The slipper member 3 generally includes foot encircling member 8, at toe of slipper. The foot encircling member 8, generally has an upper portion 10, a lower portion 11, where as manual timer 5, such as obtained from General Electric or Motorola encased in between upper and lower layer of material that has a distinctive pattern design. The upper portion 10, a lower portion 11 are generally molded from silk or of similar material, which the lower layer is padded 8. It is to be understood, however, that the upper portion 10, lower portion 11 and any combination thereof may be conjoined with a plastic zipper mechanism 6, so long as appropriate connections are provided such that it does not interfere with the comfort on user's foot. The size of the foot encircling member 3 may be made in any suitable size, to correspond with a readily available commercial size.
The fastening mechanism 6, is operatively configured to hold or lock down upper 10, lower layer 11, together on the encircling member 8, for example, the fastening 6, may include a plastic zipper to secure upper and lower layers together encircling member 8 as suggested in FIG. 3. Alternately, the zipper may be constructed of metal for encircling member 3, thereof connecting upper 10, and lower layer 11.
If desired, the footwear 1 may also include glow in the dark threads to be sewn into upper layer for enhancement 7.

Claims

1. Footwear for a user, comprising:

A) A foot encircling member;

B) An alarm timer mechanism centered in between upper and lower layers;

C) Two layer function encircling member upper and lower layer;

D) A fastening mechanism conjoining upper layer to lower layer encircling member;

2. The footwear of claim 1, wherein said has a manual set micro timer.

3. The footwear of claim 1, wherein said upper and lower layer of encircling member is constructed of satin or similar material texture.
