Abstract

A shockproof packing bag includes an upper and a lower bag body combined together and formed with an accommodating chamber therebetween. The upper and the lower bag body are respectively provided with an inner layer and an outer layer, which have their peripheral edges combined together by thermal fusing to form the upper and the lower bag body. The upper and the lower bag body have their peripheral edges attached with a zipper and are respectively formed with an air chamber between the inner and the outer layer. The upper and the lower bag body have one lateral side thermally fused together to form a compressed side having an air tap fitted therein. After inflated, the packing bag will form plural air bags for wrapping and positioning articles therein, having effect of shock prevention, usable repeatedly and highly effectively for environmental protection.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • This invention relates to a shockproof packing bag, particularly to one including an upper bag body and a lower bag body combined together and formed with an accommodating chamber therebetween. The upper and the lower bag body are respectively provided with an inner layer and an outer layer, which have their peripheral edges combined together by thermal fusing to form the upper and the lower bag body. Further, the upper and the lower bag body have their peripheral edges attached with a zipper, and between the inner layer and the outer layer is formed an air chamber. Further, the upper and the lower bag body have one lateral side combined together by thermal fusing to form a compression side having an air tap fitted therein. Thus, after inflated, the packing bag is formed with a plurality of air bags for wrapping up and positioning the articles placed in the interior, having effect of shock prevention, usable repeatedly and highly effective for environmental protection.
  • 2. Description of the Prior Art
  • Conventionally, to prevent brittle or expensive articles packed in boxes from damaged in bumping when they are transported, one way is to use paperboard and corrugated paperboard for separating and positioning stably the articles in the boxes, but actually the articles packed in the box cannot be effectively kept fixed in position. Another way is to stuff shockproof material into the boxes, such as sponge, foamed materials, expanded polystyrene and the like, for wrapping and positioning the articles placed therein. However, such shockproof packing materials cannot be used repeatedly, nor can they decompose themselves, seriously pollute the environment.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • This invention has been devised to offer a shockproof packing bag able to completely wrap up articles and form an air bag, having excellent effect of shock prevention, able to form a plurality of air bags after inflated for wrapping and positioning articles placed therein, having excellent effect of shock prevention, able to be used repeatedly and conforming to environmental protection.
  • The shockproof packing bag in the present invention includes an upper bag body and a lower bag body combined together and formed with an accommodating chamber therebetween. The upper and the lower bag body are respectively provided with an inner layer and an outer layer, which have their peripheral edges combined together by thermal fusing to form the upper and the lower bag body. The upper and the lower bag body have their peripheral edges attached with a zipper, and between the inner layer and the outer layer is formed an air chamber. Further, the upper and the lower bag body have one lateral side combined together by thermal fusing to form a compression side having an air tap fitted therein.

  • FIG. 3 is a side cross-sectional view of the shockproof packing bag having its zipper pulled closed but not being inflated yet in the present invention;
  • FIG. 4 is a side cross-sectional view of the shockproof packing bag inflated in the present invention;
  • FIG. 5 is a side cross-sectional view of the air tap not yet propped open by an inflating nozzle in the present invention;
  • FIG. 6 is a side cross-sectional view of the air tap propped open by an inflating nozzle in the present invention; and
  • FIG. 7 is an upper cross-sectional view of the air tap propped open by an inflating nozzle in the present invention.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • A preferred embodiment of a shockproof packing bag 1 in the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 1, 2 and 3, includes an upper bag body 11 and a lower bag body 12 combined together and formed with an accommodating chamber therebetween.
  • The upper bag body 11 and the lower bag body 12 are respectively provided with an inner layer 111, 121 and an outer layer 112, 122, which have their peripheral edges 113, 123 respectively combined together by thermal fusing to form the upper and the lower bag body 11 and 12. The upper and the lower bag body 11, 12 have their peripheral edges 113, 123 attached with a zipper 2 that is composed of a male zipper member 21 and a female zipper member 22 respectively combined by thermal fusing with the peripheral edge 113 of the upper bag body 11 and with the peripheral edge 123 of the lower bag body 12. The upper and the lower bag body 11 and 12 respectively have a plurality of compressed points 114 and 124 provided between the inner layer 111, 121 and the outer layer 112, 122 so as to form plural air chambers 115, 125 therebetween. The upper and the lower bag body 11 and 12 have one lateral side combined together by thermal fusing to form a compressed side 13 having an air tap 14 fitted in the center. The air tap 14 is formed by compressing the opposite sides of the intermediate portion of two soft films, having an insert slot 140 in the center. The outer ends 141 of the two films, which are not compressed together, has one film formed with an oblique cut surface 142. An inner end 143 of the air tap 14 is not compressed, and an inner opening 144 of the insert slot 140 is formed shrinking gradually.
  • In using, as shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, firstly, if articles 3 to be packed are formed with sharp ends, they had better be wrapped up by protective material so as not to pierce the packing bag 1. Next, pull open the zipper 2 and place the articles 3 in the accommodating chamber 10 between the upper and the lower bag body 11, 12 and then pull and close the zipper 2, letting the male zipper member 21 and the female zipper member 22 engaged with each other. Subsequently, slightly press the opposite sides of the air tap 14 in the compression side 13 with fingers to make the insert slot 140 of the air tap 14 a little opened and then insert the inflating nozzle 4 into the insert slot 140 of the air tap 14, letting the tip of the inflating nozzle 4 inserted through the inner opening 144 of the insert slot 140 to prop open the inner end 143 of the air tap 14, as shown in FIGS. 5, 6 and 7.
  • Then, air is injected into the air chamber 115, 125 of the upper and the lower bag body 11, 12 through the air tap 14, letting the air chambers 115, 125 filled with air and distended. Since the air chamber 115, 125 of the upper and the lower bag body 11, 12 are respectively provided with several compressed points 114, 124; therefore, the upper and the lower bag body 11, 12 are formed with a plurality of air bags for performing buffering and shock prevention, as shown in FIG. 4. After the air chambers 115, 125 of the upper and the lower bag body 11, 12 are fully filled with air, the outward expansion force of the air will be stopped by the zipper 2 on the outer peripheral edge of the upper and the lower bag body 11, 12 and transferred to the interior of the bag body to push the inner layers 111, 121 of the upper and the lower bag body 11, 12 to move inward and forcefully wrap up the articles 3 in the accommodating chamber 10 and fix them in position.
  • Lastly, remove the inflating nozzle 4 out of the insert slot 140, letting the air tap 14 of the packing bag 1 recover its thin and flat shape. At this time, the two films at the inner end 143 of the air tap 14, will be closely pressed together by the inner pressure of the air chambers 115, 125, which is higher than the outer pressure, to prevent the air inside the air chambers 115, 125 from leaking out through the air tap 14. Another method for avoiding leaking of the inner air is to have the outer end of the air tap 14 bent and rolled up and then glued by means of non-drying adhesive tape.
  • By so designing, the air chambers 115, 125 can be kept in an inflated condition, impossible to cause leaking, and the articles 3 in the packing bag 1 can be completely wrapped up for protection and also the air bags of the air chambers 115, 125 enable the packing bag 1 to achieve effects of buffering and shock prevention to avoid the articles 3 to be damaged in bumping. To collapse the packing bag 1 for storing after it is used, only slightly press the opposite sides of the air tap 14 with fingers to slightly prop open the insert slot 140 of the air tap 14 and the inner end 143 for exhausting out the air in the air chambers 115, 125. To sum up, the packing bag of this invention is able to be stored with less space, usable repeatedly, and highly effectively in environmental protection and elevating economic gain.
  • While the preferred embodiment of the invention has been described above, it will be recognized and understood that various modifications may be made therein and the appended claims are intended to cover all such modifications that may fall within the spirit and scope of the invention.

Claims (4)

1. A shockproof packing bag comprising an upper bag body and a lower bag body combined together, between said upper bag body and said lower bag body formed an accommodating chamber, said upper and said lower bag body respectively provided with an inner layer and an outer layer, said inner layer and said outer layer having their peripheral edges combined together by thermal fusing to form said upper bag body and said lower bag body, said upper and said lower bag body having their peripheral edges attached with a zipper, an air chamber formed between said inner layer and said outer layer, said upper and said lower bag body having one lateral side combined together by thermal fusing to form a compressed side, said compressed side having an air tap fitted therein.
2. The shockproof packing bag as claimed in claim 1, wherein said upper and said lower bag body have their peripheral edges respectively combined with a male zipper member and a female zipper member by thermal fusing.
3. The shockproof packing bag as claimed in claim 1, wherein said inner layer and said outer layer of said upper and said lower bag body are respectively provided with a plurality of compressed points therebetween.
4. The shockproof packing bag as claimed in claim 1, wherein said air tap is formed by compressing the opposite sides of the intermediate portions of two soft films, said air tap formed with an insert slot in the center, the outer uncompressed ends of said two soft films having one film formed with an oblique cut surface, said air tap having its inner end not compressed, the inner opening of said insert slot of said air tap formed shrinking gradually.
