Abstract

A hand-held balloon structure comprises: a balloon having a nozzle; at least one light-emitting device fixed on a cord; a rod; and a controller. The cord is coupled with the balloon. The both ends of the rod are coupled with the nozzle of the balloon and the controller, respectively. As a result, the hand-held balloon structure is easy to carry and handy to operate. Besides, the light-emitting device is capable of generating lighting from the inside or the outside of the balloon for providing various lighting effects.

Description

    FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention relates to an improved hand-held balloon structure, and more particularly to a hand-held balloon structure, which comprises a balloon, at lest one light-emitting device, a rod and a controller, wherein the light-emitting device is coupled with a cord, and the nozzle of the balloon and the controller are coupled with the both ends of the rod, respectively, whereby the improved hand-held balloon structure is easy to carry, handy to operate, and suitable for use in all kinds of balloons or the likes.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • The balloon is lighter than air and can float quite high in the sky. As a result, a lot of balloons are generally released to liven up the atmosphere of pageant. In addition, patterns may be marked on the outside of the balloon, and the balloon may be coupled with a cord or a rod for being held by hand. The aforesaid balloon structure is capable of livening up the atmosphere in the daytime or at the location with sufficient illumination, but it is useless during nighttime. As a result, the conventional balloon structure must be improved to enable it to create lifelikeness and interest during nighttime or at the location that lacks sufficient illumination or to provide different effects in the daytime.
  • Whereas the foregoing description, the present inventor makes diligent studies in providing consumers with a newly improved hand-held balloon structure.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • It is a main object of the present invention to provide a balloon structure, which comprises a balloon, one or more light-emitting devices, a rod and a controller, wherein the light-emitting device is coupled with a cord, and the nozzle of the balloon and the controller are coupled with the both ends of the rod, respectively, whereby the hand-held balloon structure is usable during nighttime or at the location that lacks sufficient illumination.
  • It is another object of the present invention to provide an improved hand-held balloon structure. Several light-emitting devices are arranged on a cord disposed on a balloon. The light-emitting devices are connected to a conducting wire, and a controller is disposed on a rear end of the conducting wire so as to generate constant lighting, twinkling lighting or color changing lighting from the inside or the outside of the balloon by operating the controller, thereby increasing the function of the hand-held balloon structure.
  • It is a further object of the present invention to provide an improved balloon structure, wherein several light-emitting devices are arranged on a cord disposed on a balloon. The light-emitting devices have receivers disposed thereon. The light-emitting devices can generate constant lighting, twinkling lighting or color changing lighting by operating a remote type controller or another remote control, thereby increasing the function of the hand-held balloon structure.
  • In order to achieve the above-mentioned objects, an improved hand-held balloon structure comprises: a balloon; at least one light-emitting device; a rod; and a controller. The balloon has a nozzle. The light-emitting device is fixed on a cord. The cord is coupled with the balloon. The both ends of the rod are coupled with the nozzle of the balloon and the controller, respectively. As a result, the hand-held balloon structure is easy to carry and handy to operate. Besides, the light-emitting device is capable of generating lighting from the inside or the outside of the balloon for providing various lighting effects.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • The above-mentioned features and advantages of the present invention will be better understood by reference to the following descriptions of embodiments taken in conjunction with the drawings.
  • Referring to FIGS. 1 through 4, a hand-held balloon structure of the present invention generally comprises a balloon 10, one or more light-emitting devices 20, one or more cords 30, a rod 40 and a controller 50.
  • The balloon 10 has a nozzle 11 for air inflation, and patterns or characters that have certain meanings may be optionally marked on the outside of the balloon 10 so as to provide functions of advertisement, publicity and decoration for pageant.
  • The light-emitting device 20 is composed of a LED, a battery and a receiver (not shown) disposed on a circuit board, wherein the receiver is capable of receiving a signal from the remote type controller 50 or another remote control (not shown) to allow the light-emitting device 20 to generate constant lighting, twinkling lighting or color changing lighting according to the requirements of users.
  • The light-emitting device 20 is coupled with the cord 30 by following methods. In a first method, a single light-emitting device 20 is adhered to the cord 30. In a second method, several honeycomb-arranged light-emitting devices 20 are adhered to the cord 30. In a third method, several straight-aligned light-emitting devices 20 are adhered to the cord 30. In a fourth method, a single light-emitting device 20 is adhered to two cords 30 simultaneously.
  • Referring to FIGS. 1 through 4, if the receiver is located on the light-emitting device 20 that locates on the cord 30, the cord 30 can be positioned on the inside of the deflated balloon 10 with one end adhered to the inside of the balloon 10 and the other end located at the nozzle 11 or at any location inside the balloon 10. For the same reason, if two cords 30 are utilized, the both ends of the first cord 30 can be adhered to the inside of the balloon 10 and the nozzle 11 or any location inside the deflated balloon 10, respectively. In addition, a first end of the second cord 30 can be adhered to any location inside the deflated balloon 10, and a second end of the second cord 30 can be coupled with the light-emitting device 20. Alternatively, the second end of the second cord 30 may be further adhered to another location inside the balloon 10 after connection with the light-emitting device 20. Accordingly, the connection between the balloon 10 and the cord 30 is much more secure. After the gas inflation is completed, the nozzle 11 is sealed such that the light-emitting device 20, which is coupled with the cord 30, is located inside the balloon 10 and that the cord 30 is extended to the outside of the balloon 10 via the nozzle 11. In addition, the controller 50, which is coupled with the rear end of the cord 30, is further coupled with the rear end of the rod 40, wherein the both ends of the rod 40 are coupled with the nozzle 11 and the controller 50, respectively, and thus the first hand-held balloon structure of the present invention is completed. Thereafter, several reflection sheets 70 are optionally adhered to the top surface of the balloon 10, and a ribbon 60 is optionally tied to nozzle 11 of the balloon 10 for the purpose of decoration. In addition, the nozzle 11 further has two passageways to permit the passage of the gas and the cord 30.
  • As shown in FIG. 6, the light-emitting device 20 that locates on the cord 30 is further connected with a conducting wire 80. In addition, the light-emitting device 20 is wire controlled by the controller 50 that is electrically connected to the rear end of the conducting wire 80 to generate constant lighting, twinkling lighting or color changing lighting. When the cord 30 is positioned on the inside of the deflated balloon 10, one end of the cord 30 is adhered to the inside of the balloon 10 and the other end of the cord 30 is located at the nozzle 11 or at any location inside the balloon 10. For the same reason, if two cords 30 are utilized, the both ends of the first cord 30 can be adhered to the inside of the balloon 10 and the nozzle 11 or any location inside the deflated balloon 10, respectively. In addition, a first end of the second cord 30 can be adhered to any location inside the deflated balloon 10, and a second end of the second cord 30 can be coupled with the light-emitting device 20. Alternatively, the second end of the second cord 30 may be further adhered to another location inside the balloon 10 after connection with the light-emitting device 20. Thus, the connection between the balloon 10 and the cords 30 is much more secure. After the gas inflation is completed, the nozzle 11 is sealed such that the light-emitting device 20, which is coupled with the cord 30, is located inside the balloon 10 and that the cord 30 and the conducting wire 80 are extended to the outside of the balloon 10 via the nozzle 11. In addition, the controller 50, which is coupled with the rear end of the conducting wire 80, is further coupled with the rear end of the rod 40, wherein the both ends of the rod 40 are coupled with the nozzle 11 and the controller 50, respectively, and thus the second hand-held balloon structure of the present invention is completed. In addition, the nozzle 11 further has two passageways to permit the passage of the gas, the cord 30 and the conducting wire 80.
  • As shown in FIGS. 1 through 4 and FIG. 6, the hand-held balloon structure of the present invention is suitable for use in the pageant by holding the tube 40 under the nozzle 11 such that the single light-emitting diode 20 or the straight-aligned or honeycomb-arranged light-emitting diodes 20 of the balloon structure of the present invention can be allowed to generate lighting in a constant or specific twinkling mode by operating the controller 50 that couples with the rear end of the rod 40. Besides, the ribbon 60 and the reflection sheets 70 that dispose on the balloon 10 can reflect the light emitted from the light-emitting diode 20 to generate different decoration effects. As a result, the balloon 10 is able to create lifelikeness and interest during nighttime or at the location that lacks sufficient illumination.
  • As shown in FIGS. 1 through 4, the light-emitting device 20 and the cord 30 are located inside the balloon 10. However, as shown in FIG. 5, when in use, one or more light-emitting devices 20 can be fixed on a cord 30, and this cord 30 is further coupled with the outside of the balloon 10. The remaining components, which are identical to the forgoing description, are omitted herein. Therefore, the light-emitting device 20 that locates on the outer surface of the balloon 10 is capable of generating lighting. As a result, the balloon 10 is applicable during daytime and nighttime and at the location that lacks sufficient illumination so as to generate constant lighting, twinkling lighting or color-changing lighting by operating the controller 50.
  • In accordance with the foregoing description, it is apparent that the present invention provides the advantages as follows:
  • 1. Because the light-emitting device and the rod that has the controller disposed thereon are coupled with the balloon, the balloon can generate lighting and is easy to be held such that the balloon is further applicable during both daytime and nighttime and at the location that lacks sufficient illumination.
  • 2. In the balloon structure of the present invention, the light-emitting device that locates inside the balloon is provided with the receiver or connected with the controller via the conducting wire such that the balloon can further generate constant lighting, twinkling lighting or color changing lighting by operating the remote control or the controller for promoting the function and illumination effect of the balloon.
  • In summary, the present invention indeed achieves the expected objects and provides an improved multi-use hand-held balloon structure. Accordingly, the present invention meets the requirement for patentability and is therefore submitted for a patent.
  • While the preferred embodiment of the invention has been set forth for the purpose of disclosure, modifications of the disclosed embodiment of the invention as well as other embodiments thereof may occur to those skilled in the art. Accordingly, the appended claims are intended to cover all embodiments, which do not depart from the spirit and scope of the invention.

Claims (9)

1. A hand-held balloon structure comprising:
a balloon having a nozzle;
at least one light-emitting device fixed on a cord, said cord being coupled with said balloon;
a rod having a first end coupled with said nozzle of said balloon; and
a controller coupled with a second end of said rod.
2. The hand-held balloon structure of claim 1, wherein said cord is coupled with the inside of said balloon and extended to the outside of said balloon, and said at least one light-emitting device that fixes on said cord is further coupled with another cord for being positioned securely.
3. The hand-held balloon structure of claim 1, wherein said cord is coupled with the inside of said balloon and extended to the outside of said balloon, and said at least one light-emitting device that fixes on said cord is a single light-emitting device.
4. The hand-held balloon structure of claim 1, wherein said cord is located on the inside of said balloon and said at least one light-emitting device is a plurality of honeycomb-arranged light-emitting devices.
5. The hand-held balloon structure of claim 1, wherein said cord is located on the inside of said balloon and said at least one light-emitting device is a plurality of straight-arranged light-emitting devices.
6. The hand-held balloon structure of claim 1, wherein said cord is coupled with the outside of said balloon and said at least one light-emitting device that fixes on said cord is capable of generating lighting from the outside of said balloon.
7. The hand-held balloon structure of claim 1, wherein said at least one light-emitting device has a circuit board having a LED, a battery and a receiver located thereon for receiving a signal from a remote control.
8. The hand-held balloon structure of claim 1, wherein said at least one light-emitting device is connected to a conducting wire and said controller is electrically connected to a rear end of said conducting wire so as to enable said light-emitting device to generate lighting.
9. The hand-held balloon structure of claim 7, wherein said nozzle has two passageways to permit the passage of a gas, said cord and said conducting wire.
