    FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention relates to an air-compressor, particularly to a portable inflator for tyre.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • The current miniature inflator evolves unceasingly from the small air compressor. Since it is cheap and useful, the miniature inflator is developed rapidly and is widely used in car, coach, truck, rubber boat, air-cushion bed and balls. Due to the constraint of the power of automobile storage battery, the basic parameters of the miniature inflator, such as electric power, tyre-filled time, the maximal electric current, and the maximal pressure value, is restricted continuously during the development thereof.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • To overcome the deficiency of the current technology, an object of the present invention is to provide a portable inflator for tyre which adopts new materials and new process without increase of power, can simplify structure and extend additional functions on the basis of improving work efficiency.
  • To achieve the above object, a portable inflator for tyre includes: a top cover, a bottom cover attached to the top cover, a pressure gauge, a switch and an accessories cover, the pressure gauge, the switch and the accessories cover being placed into the corresponding hole and trough which are defined in the top of the top cover and the bottom cover, an electric motor being placed inside the top cover and the bottom cover, supports pads being defined symmetrically at the inner walls of the top cover and the bottom cover, the pressure gauge connects with a cylinder cover by its connection module, the cylinder cover connecting with the integrative support cylinder by a seal part, a motor gear installed at the output shaft of the electric motor is mated with a gearing mechanism, the end of the gearing mechanism connecting with a piston by a piston shaft.
  • The connection module of the pressure gauge includes a connective base projecting from the bottom of the pressure gauge, a column seal groove integrally defined in the bottom of the connective base, and sealing rings disposed between the connective base inserting into the cylinder cover and the cylinder cover.
  • The integrative support cylinder includes the cylinder, the piston placed into the cylinder, an L-shaped support integrally extending from the bottom outer wall of the cylinder and perpendicular to the axis of the cylinder, a triangle stiffening rib integrally formed with the top of the L-shaped support and the outer wall of the cylinder, a sleeving hole of the electric motor output shaft and a sleeving hole of the gearing mechanism drive shaft respectively defined in the top and bottom of the L-shaped support, protruding parts each defined with a screw hole symmetrically protruding in the both ends of the sleeving hole of electric motor output shaft.
  • The gearing mechanism includes a deceleration gear nested in the drive shaft, a cam shaft inserted in the wrap hole projected from the center of the deceleration gear, a connecting rod nested in one end of the cam shaft, and an orienting hole defined in the top of connecting rod and perpendicular to the connecting rod for positioning the piston by the piston shaft being inserted in the piston and the orienting hole.
  • The present invention has the following advantages:
  • 1. Adopting the integrative structure of the support and the cylinder which can improve the integrity of the compressor, increase the structural strength, reduce the weight, reduce the production cost, reduces the size of internal structure, and so make the portable inflator for tyre more portable.
  • 2. Breakthroughing the traditional design, integrally forming the cam and the big drive gear, and replacing the traditional engineering plastics gear with the powder metallurgy gear.
  • 3. Canceling the traditional independent structure attached to bearing, and employing the oily powder metallurgy part as the connecting rod, and so further reducing the production cost.
  • 4. Using the O-shaped sealing ring in the pressure gauge, adopting the method of radial seal, and making use of the compaction strength of the casing reliably to seal the joint of the pressure gauge.
  • Other objects, advantages and novel features of the present invention will be drawn from the following detailed embodiment of the present invention with attached drawings, in which:
