Abstract

A nose to back neck and eye muscles exercise for improved facial enhancement, resulting in a more youthful appearance because of reduced or eliminated wrinkling of the face, is one representation of this invention. This exercise affects all of the facial muscle area beginning at the nose and going upward, ending at the back of the neck area. Notable improvement results in a tightened, smaller slenderized nose and reduced or eliminated wrinkling around facial eye area and forehead. Not only is a more youthful appearance achieved, but eyesight (vision) is greatly improved from strengthened supportive facial muscles surrounding eyes and independently strengthened muscles of the eyes as a result of this exercise. It is not possible to receive one natural benefit of the muscles exercise of this present invention of reduced wrinkling and a more youthful appearance without receiving its naturally intertwined second benefit of improved eyesight, and vice versa.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention generally relates to a method for cosmetic body and facial enhancement. The present invention also relates to a method for visual eye improvement. Both the cosmetic body and facial enhancement and the visual eye improvement are achieved solely through exercise. And it is, therefore, noted that this exercise method is beneficial to both facial enhancement and actual visual acuity. More particularly, the present invention relates to toning and strengthening of facial muscles and vision improvement through a specially performed exercise.
  • BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention addresses the need for a natural way to achieve facial youthfulness. It is well established and factual pertaining to the facial changes that result through cosmetic plastic surgery. However, not all individuals are good specimens for facial plastic surgery but they would still like the youthful benefits of same. It is also true that many people want the youthfulness that plastic surgery affords but, for many and various reasons, do not elect to have plastic surgery. These reasons may include the sole fear of undergoing the actual surgery, not knowing the actual beforehand results of the surgery, how their body will react to the surgery (possible complications) and anesthesiology (allergic reaction), and many, many other factors related to the actual performance of the surgery. Other people want the youthful benefits of having facial plastic surgery but they cannot afford to pay for its cost. In addition, people want to look youthful and better but do not know that a natural way to achieve what they want is available and would choose this natural way over cosmetic plastic surgery.
  • The present invention satisfies this desire for achieving youthfulness and improved facial appearance through facial exercise. Facial exercise of this present invention results in strengthened and toned muscles that result in reduced or eliminated wrinkling of the skin covering the muscles. This eliminated or reduced wrinkling results in a more favorable, youthful appearance.
  • The present invention also involves the subject of vision (eyesight) improvement. Through performing the present invention, vision improvement is bonafide and easily attainable. As with any physical bodily exercise, the time spent doing it and an individual's commitment and dedication to it will determine the individual's resultant benefits of the exercise.
  • If an individual is seriously performing the present invention, there will be guaranteed beneficial results and these results will all be attained naturally.
  • Reference is now made to the drawings, wherein like characteristics and features of the present invention shown in the various FIGURES are designated by the same reference numerals.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • The present invention will be described by way of exemplary embodiments, but not limitations, illustrated in the accompanying drawings in which like references denote similar elements, and in which:
  • FIGS. 1 and 2 illustrate an eyebrow lift exercise in accordance with the present nose to back neck and eye muscles exercise invention;
  • FIGS. 3 and 4 illustrate facial, head, and neck and also scalp affected areas in accordance with the present invention.
  • FIG. 5 illustrates the six muscles that are attached to the human eye.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF ILLUSTRATIVE EMBODIMENTS
  • As required, detailed embodiments of the present invention are disclosed herein. Therefore, specific functional details disclosed herein are not to be interpreted as limiting, but merely as a basis for the claims, and as a representative basis for teaching one skilled or unskilled in the art to employ the present invention.
  • The phrase “embodiment” is used repeatedly. The phrase generally does not refer to the same embodiment, however, it may.
  • In FIG. 1A as in one embodiment of the present invention an individual 10 is in a relaxed sitting or standing position 12 with both eyes opened 14 and mouth opened slightly 16. This present invention comprises the following steps:
      • Step 1: Sit or stand in a relaxed position.
      • Step 2: Open your mouth, dropping your lower jawbone to a relaxed position with an approximate ½ inch mouth opening. Allow your tongue to stay in its natural bottom-of-mouth position and not press itself against the roof of mouth.
      • In FIG. 1B as in one embodiment of the present invention,
      • Step 3: Close both eyes 18 while still maintaining a relaxed posture.
      • Step 4: Lift eyebrows as far upward as is possible 20, then releasing them. Count the number of eyebrow lifts performed.
      • Step 5: When initially beginning to exercise, perform three (3) sets of twenty-five (25) eyebrow lifts in the morning and do the same amount in the evening, daily. You should exercise at least five times per week.
      • Step 6: Initially, if Step 5 is too strenuous, do less repetitions. If Step 5 seems too easy, do more repetitions. Do not overdo exercising.
      • Step 7: After exercising for a period of time, and this period of time is equivalent to how many repetition can be performed morning and evening without discomfort of any kind, especially to the eyes, number of repetitions can be increased gradually over a continued period of time until a maximum of three (3) sets of fifty (50) repetitions are completed each morning and night for at least five (5) days per week.
  • Referring to FIG. 2, this illustrative embodiment of the present invention illustrates the appearance of the wrinkling 22 that temporarily occurs when the eyebrows are lifted as high as they can be lifted. FIG. 2 illustrates that muscles of the upper head are also being exercised 24 while performing the eyebrow lift. FIG. 2 also illustrates that the present invention can be performed with your eyes opened 26, but it is not the preferred method, as it is not as relaxing to the body as performed when eyes are closed.
  • Referring to FIG. 3 of this illustrative embodiment of the present invention, there are two (2) not filled-in arrows 30 above closed eye 32 and at center of forehead 34 depicting an illustration of an individual who is performing the eyebrow lift of this present nose to back neck and eye muscles exercise invention. The numerous filled-in dark arrows 36 also present in the drawing depict the underlying muscles of the face and head, all the way to the back of the neck, which are benefited by this present invention. This present invention depicts exercise initiated at the upper-portion of the face (front of head) but has muscle-strengthening abilities to reach and strengthen all muscles to the back of the neck, as darkened arrows indicate.
  • FIG. 4 of this illustrative embodiment of the present invention illustrates the fact that not only are the underlying muscles 40 of the scalp 41 strengthened and benefited by the exercise 42 of this present invention, but that better blood circulation in these areas is also attained.
  • FIG. 5 of this illustrative embodiment of this present invention shows a depiction of the six muscles that are attached to the human eyeball. Muscle functions of the eyes are the same as all other muscle functions in the human body in that they are needed for flexibility and support of and in the body. It has been previously stated in background of invention that this nose to back neck and eye muscles exercise (eyebrow lift exercise) is beneficial to both facial enhancement and actual visual acuity. This present invention, through performing the present invention exercise, strengthens:
      • 1. The facial muscles, head muscles, and muscles that go all the way to the back of the neck (FIG. 3). The obicularis oculi 50 are the two sphincter muscles that surround each of the eye openings in the head. These muscles are just like other muscles of the body that atrophy and become soft and less supportive than firm strong supportive toned and exercised muscles. The nose to back neck and eye muscles exercise of this present invention strengthens all the supporting facial muscles surrounding the eye. This not only results in strengthened toned muscles that offer a more youthful appearance and diminished or eliminated wrinkling of skin surrounding the complete eye area but that these strengthened muscles also support the human eyes in their sockets, and
      • 2. The six (6) muscles of each eye are also being exercised when the nose to back neck and eye muscles exercise of this present invention is performed. Shown are the superior rectus muscle 52, superior oblique muscle 54, medial rectus muscle 56, lateral rectus muscle 58, inferior rectus muscle 60 and inferior oblique muscle 62.
  • This muscle-strengthening benefit to the human eyes of the eyebrow lift exercise of this present invention cannot be separated from the other attributes and benefits of the eyebrow lift exercise of this present invention as it applies to firming and strengthening of facial and head and neck muscles.
  • It must be stated that muscle strengthening of the eyes and muscle strengthening of surrounding facial muscles around the eyes results from the nose to back neck and eye muscles exercise of this present invention and that this exercise of this present invention improves visual acuity. Vision improvement will occur if the nose to back neck and eye muscles exercise of this present invention is performed on a regular basis. This benefit of improved vision because of the eyebrow lift exercise cannot be separated from any performance of the exercise.
