Abstract

The invention relates to an interactive game machine and its method. The interactive game machine is stored with the interactive game method provided with a main play and a subsidiary play. The main play includes plural patterns composed of plural bet patterns, particular patterns and initiating patterns that are arrayed to become a loop. The bet patterns are to be betted by a player. If the initiating patterns are picked in the main play, a player can extra carry on the subsidiary play free according to diverse playing rules. By the invention, a player is to excitedly expect the subsidiary play during the game. Moreover, prize rules are simplified.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • This invention relates to an interactive game, particularly to one including a machine and a method provided with plural patterns arrayed into a loop so that a player can interactively bet and play with diverse rules.
  • 2. Description of the Prior Art
  • Commonly, a slot machine is a most popular game machine in casinos, mainly composed of plural reels attached with a plurality of patterns. The conventional slot machine is to let a player bet a same pattern that may appear in a line. A player can obtain corresponding awards if an aligned combination of the pattern betted by the player appears on the slot machine. And, more reels or more particular patterns combined with diverse playing rules are gradually added in the slot machine to advance its diversification. So, as disclosed in U.S. Pat. No. 6,599,193, a particular pattern combined with corresponding rules is increased in it to soar excitement of playing such a conventional slot machine. However, although a lot of diverse playing methods are created by adding more reels or the particular pattern to increase prized combination, the calculation of aligned combination is so complicated that a player cannot clearly understand the condition of combinations.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The object of this invention is to offer an interactive game machine and its method.
  • The interactive game method is provided with a main play and a subsidiary play. The main play includes plural patterns composed of plural bet patterns, particular patterns and initiating patterns that are arrayed into a loop according to odds. The bet patterns are to be betted by a player. Each pattern is given odds to determine the frequency for it to appear in the loop. If the initiating patterns are picked in the main play, the subsidiary play is to be displayed for a player to play. The interactive game machine is stored with the interactive game method, employed for a player to bet the bet patterns and operate it. Therefore, a player can realize not only the processing of the main play but also if he wins or not. Moreover, with the expectation to play the main play free, a player is to be kept excited through the game.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a preferred embodiment of an interactive game machine 100 in the present invention includes a micro processing unit 10, a main play unit 20 and an interactive play unit 30.
  • The micro processing unit 10 is utilized to run and process the interactive game machine 100, connected with a memory device 11 that is provided with a ROM (Read Only Memory) 111 saved with a program of an interactive game method 200, and a RAM (Random Access Memory) 112 employed to store events data or relevant data while running the interactive game method 200. By means of a network device 12, the micro processing unit 10 can be far controlled through internet or connected with plural interactive game machines 100.
  • The main play unit 20 is provided with a payment acceptor 21, an input device 22, a displaying device 23 and an audio device 24, which are respectively connected to the micro processing unit 10. The payment acceptor 21 is used to receive coins, paper currency, credit cards or pre-paid cards given by players so that an equivalent wagers can be changed for the players after processed by the micro processing unit 10 and displayed on the displaying device 23 as a new credit. The input device 22 is provided with plural bet buttons 221, a start button 222 and an exit button 223, operated by a player to run the interactive game machine 100. The audio device 24 is connected with a speaker 241 for giving corresponding sounds. In stead of a conventional displaying screen, a touch screen monitor is preferably provided in the displaying device 23 in the embodiment so as to enable a player to conveniently operate the interactive game machine 100 by just touch appropriately on the displaying device 23.
  • The interactive play unit 30 is controlled by the micro processing unit 10 to demonstrate the interactive game method 200 on the displaying device 23 for a player to work, provided with a main play region 31 and an interactive play region 32.
  • (1) The main play region 31 includes a plurality of patterns 40 that are so arrayed as to become a loop and respectively given odds to determine a frequency for each pattern 40 to appear in the loop. The patterns 40 are further provided with plural bet patterns 41, plural particular patterns 42 and two initiating patterns 43. The initiating patterns 43 include a bonus initiating pattern 431 and a jackpot initiating pattern 432, with the bonus initiating pattern 431 depicted as “BONUS” and the jackpot initiating pattern 432 depicted as “JACKPOT” in this embodiment. And the particular patterns 42 are symbolized with arrows.
  • (2) The interactive play region 32 is encompassed in the loop of the main play region 31, employed to display a frame corresponding to a main play 210 of the interactive game method 200 and a frame corresponding to a subsidiary play 220 of the interactive game method 200 while conditioning the interactive game method 200.
  • Next, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, a preferred embodiment of the interactive game method 200 in the present invention has processing steps as described below.
  • (Step A) Based on the main play 210, the patterns 40 are arrayed as a loop in the main play region 31, including the bet patterns 41, the particular patterns 42, the bonus initiating pattern 431 and the jackpot initiating pattern 432. Each pattern 40 is given odds to determine a frequency for it to appear in the loop. A bet region 50 is provided for a player to bet wagers to various corresponding bet patterns 41. However, the particular patterns 42, the bonus initiating pattern 431 and the jackpot initiating pattern 432 are not to be betted by a player.
  • (Step B) According to the frequency rule designed in the main play 210, the main play 210 is to pick at least one of the patterns 40 in the loop of the main play region 31 as a prize pattern when a player has finished betting in conformation with conditions of starting the main play 210.
  • (Step C) As shown in FIG. 5, if the pattern 40 picked by the main play 210 is equivalent to the one betted by a player, awards calculated in accordance with the odds and the bet wagers betted by the player is given and summed up as a new credit. On the contrary, in case that the pattern 40 picked by the main play 210 is different from that betted by a player, the player is to lose the wagers based on the pattern 40 chosen by him. And, if a particular pattern 42 is picked by the main play 210, the player is also to lose all the wagers betted. Next, as shown in FIGS. 6A˜6D, when the bonus initiating pattern 431 of the initiating pattern 43 is selected by the main play 210, the interactive play region 32 is to display a bonus play mode of the subsidiary play 220 with plural bonus play patterns 44 of diverse playing rules, and 16 bonus play patterns 44 are designed in the embodiment. FIG. 7 is a table describing the rules for corresponding bonus play patterns 44. Three bonus play patterns 44 are to be randomly chosen by the player or the micro processing unit 10 so that the player can carry on the main play 210 free according to the playing rules picked in the bonus play mode. The bonus awards obtained at the end of the bonus play of the subsidiary play 220 is to be added with the wagers left while initiating the subsidiary play 220, and the new credit is shown on the displaying device 23. And, as shown in FIGS. 8A and 8B, when the jackpot initiating pattern 432 of the initiating pattern 43 is selected by the main play 210, the interactive play region 32 is to display a jackpot play mode of the subsidiary play 220 with plural reels respectively provided with a plurality of jackpot patterns 45. According to the number of the same jackpot patterns 45 appearing on the reels, diverse jackpot awards are given to the player. And the jackpot awards obtained at the end of the jackpot play of the subsidiary play 220 is to be added with the wagers left while initiating the subsidiary play 220, and a new credit is obtained.
  • (Step D) The main play 210 is to balance the credits, the bonus awards, the jackpot awards and the lost wagers for each game. The awards obtained or lost in the game are then merged with the wagers left at the last game to become a new credit. By repeating (Step A) through (Step C), a player can keep playing until stopping betting the bet patterns 41. Then the main play 210 is stopped completely.
  • Again, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 3, a player can press the bet buttons 221 on the interactive game machine 100 to select the bet pattern 41 for betting and the bet region 50 is to display the bet wagers corresponding to the bet pattern 41 selected. Next, the start button 222 can be pressed to begin the main play 210 of the interactive game method 200. Then, as shown in FIG. 5, the main play 210 is to pick one of the patterns 40 in the main play region 31. If the pattern 40 picked by the main play 210 is “F” which is also betted by a player, awards based on the odds and the bet wagers betted by the player is given to the player.
  • Furthermore, as shown in FIGS. 6A˜6D, if the bonus initiating pattern 431 of the initiating pattern 43 is selected by the main play 210, the interactive play region 32 is to display a bonus play mode of the subsidiary play 220 with plural bonus play patterns 44 of diverse playing rules. Three bonus play patterns 44 are to be randomly chosen by the player so that the player can extra play the main play 210 free. The playing rules of the bonus play patterns 44 further include a gain of times of playing the main play 210 free, an increase of bonus awards based on a multiplying rule selected, increasing the amount of the patterns 40 to be picked by the main play 210, and bonus awards doubled in case of picking the particular patterns 42. For example, as shown in FIGS. 6A and 7, the player selects three bonus patterns 44 that are respectively an increase of the frequency of playing the main play 210 free (III), a multiplying of bonus awards (IV), and an amount increase of the patterns 40 to be picked by the main play 210. The data will be displayed in the interactive play region 32 by the subsidiary play 220. Then, as shown in FIGS. 6B˜6D, the subsidiary play 220 is to carry out the main play 210 in the main play region 31 accordingly. When the bonus mode of the subsidiary play 220 is finished by the player, the main play 210 is to add the bonus awards to the wagers left while the player started the subsidiary play 220 to become new credit.
  • While the preferred embodiment of the invention has been described above, it will be recognized and understood that various modifications may be made therein and the appended claims are intended to cover all such modifications that may fall within the spirit and scope of the invention.

Claims (18)

1. An interactive game method comprising:
(a) a main play provided with plural patterns arrayed as a loop in a main play region, each of said patterns given an odds to determine a frequency for it to appear in said loop, said patterns including diverse bet patterns, a bet region employed to display the information of said bet patterns betted by a player;
(b) said main play picking at least one of said patterns in said loop of said main play region in accordance with a frequency rule designed in said main play when a player has finished betting in conformation with conditions of starting said main play;
(c) a player to be given awards calculated in accordance with an odds and a bet wagers betted by him if a bet pattern selected by the player is equivalent to a pattern picked by said main play, a player going to lose wagers based on a pattern chosen by him in case that a pattern picked by said main play is different from the pattern selected by the player; and
(d) said main play starting to balance the awards and the wagers lost owing to wrong bet after each game, the awards gained or lost being merged to wagers left at a last game to become a new credit, a player able to repeat a cycle of the step (a)˜the step(c) until stopping betting said bet patterns, said main play thus being stopped.
2. The interactive game method as claimed in claim 1, wherein said patterns of said main play further include at least an initiating pattern that is inserted in said loop of said main play region but not to be betted; a player is allowed to enter a subsidiary play in case that said initiating pattern is picked by said main play at the step (b).
3. The interactive game method as claimed in claim 1, wherein said patterns of said main play further include at least a particular pattern that is inserted in said loop of said main play region but not to be betted; a player is to lose a whole wagers betted by him in case that said initiating pattern is picked by said main play at step (b).
4. The interactive game method as claimed in claim 2, wherein said initiating pattern further includes a bonus initiating pattern and a jackpot initiating pattern; said bonus initiating pattern is employed to start said subsidiary play to enter a bonus play mode and said subsidiary play to enter a jackpot play mode.
5. The interactive game method as claimed in claim 4, wherein said bonus play mode is stored in an interactive play region of said main play region for creating plural bonus play patterns with diverse playing rules; a player can randomly select at least a said bonus play pattern so as to extra play said main play accordingly.
6. The interactive game method as claimed in claim 4, wherein said jackpot play mode is stored in said interactive play region of said main play region to provide plural jackpot patterns on plural reels for a player to play; a player can obtain jackpot awards according to a number of the same jackpot patterns appearing on said reels; said jackpot awards obtained at an end of said jackpot play of said subsidiary play is to be added to the wagers left while initiating said subsidiary play and a new credit is obtained.
7. The interactive game method as claimed in claim 5, wherein said playing rules of said bonus play patterns further include a gain of frequency of playing said main play free; said bonus awards obtained at an end of said bonus play is to be added to the wagers left while initiating said subsidiary play and a new credit is obtained.

The interactive game method as claimed in claim 5, wherein said playing rules of said bonus play patterns further include an increase of bonus awards based on a multiplying rule selected; said bonus awards obtained at an end of said bonus play is to be added to the wagers left while initiating said subsidiary play and a new credit is obtained.
9. The interactive game method as claimed in claim 8, wherein said multiplying rule is determined to directly keep said bonus awards gained in bonus play mode multiplied by a fixed multiplier.
10. The interactive game method as claimed in claim 8, wherein said multiplying rule is based on a floating multiplier that is to be added with one as long as a player has free played said main play one more time in said bonus play mode.
11. The interactive game method as claimed in claim 5, wherein said playing rules of said bonus play patterns further include a step of increasing an amount of said patterns to be picked by said main play.
12. The interactive game method as claimed in claim 1, wherein said patterns of said main play further include at least an initiating pattern and at least a particular pattern respectively arrayed in said loop of said main play and not to be betted; a player can enter a subsidiary play if said initiating pattern is picked by said main play in the step (b); a player is to lose a whole wagers betted if said particular pattern is picked by the main play in the step (b).
13. The interactive game method as claimed in claim 12, wherein said initiating pattern further includes a bonus initiating pattern and a jackpot initiating pattern; said bonus initiating pattern is employed to start said subsidiary play to enter a bonus play mode and said subsidiary play to enter a jackpot play mode.
14. The interactive game method as claimed in claim 13, wherein said bonus play mode is stored in an interactive play region of said main play region for creating plural bonus play patterns with diverse playing rules; a player can randomly select at least one of said bonus play patterns so as to extra play said main play accordingly.
15. The interactive game method as claimed in claim 14, wherein said playing rules of said bonus play patterns further include a gain of times of playing said main play free, an increase of bonus awards based on a multiplying rule selected, and a rule of calculating bonus awards in case of picking said particular patterns; bonus awards obtained at an end of said bonus play is to be added to the wagers left while initiating said subsidiary play and a new credit is obtained.
16. An interactive game machine controlled by a micro processing unit, said interactive game machine comprising:
a main play unit controlled by said micro processing unit and provided with a bet region utilized for a player to operate and bet; and
an interactive play unit installed in said main play unit and controlled by said micro processing unit and employed for a player to operate an interactive game method, said interactive play unit comprising:
(1) a main play region including a plurality of patterns that are arrayed to become a loop and respectively given an odds to determine their frequency appearing in said loop; and
(2) An interactive play region employed to display a frame corresponding to a main play of said interactive game method while conditioning said interactive game method.
17. The interactive game machine as claimed in claim 16, wherein said patterns further include plural bet patterns, at least an initiating pattern and at least a particular pattern; a frame corresponding to a subsidiary play of said interactive game method is to be displayed in said interactive play region if said initiating pattern is picked among said loop in said interactive play unit.
18. The interactive game machine as claimed in claim 16, wherein said interactive game machine is linked with other said interactive game machine.
