Abstract
A transmission cable coiler device is disclosed. The device has an internal module which has more than one cavity. The two lateral sides of the cavity are provided with a protruded edge and the center of the cavity is a resilient gap and the transmission cable connector is provided at the cavity. A winding body passes through the through hole at the top section of the external housing, it is tied to the upper section of the internal module. The external housing is mounted at the external of the internal module and the protruded urges the inner side of the external housing. The resilient gap is reduced to generate a reaction force such that the external housing and the internal module are closely matched in securing.
Description
- The present invention relates to coiler, and in particular, a transmission cable coiler having a cable connector being kept within an internal module of the coiler.
- Electronic products generally come with transmission cable. However, it is very often that the cable is misplaced somewhere. General consumer product is provided with a series bus connector transmission cable, and between the two ends of the cable is mounted with a conductor which could be wounded. After the cable is coiled, the volume of the cable is small, but it is not convenient and does not have an aesthetic appearance. The exposed connector may be polluted or damaged externally. Therefore, in actual practice, information may not be transmitted. As a result, improvement on the cable coiler has to be made.
- Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a transmission cable coiler device comprising an internal module having a more than one cavity and having the central thereof provided with an elastic gap, the upper portion thereof being a winding body; a transmissions cable having a connector at the end thereof, the connector being mounted at the cavity of the internal module; an outer housing mounted at the external of the internal module and the lower section being an opening and the upper section being a through hole for the mounting of the resilient body; characterized in that the two lateral sides of the cavity are provided with protruded edge and the external housing is provided at the outer side of the internal module, and the external housing urges the protruded edge at two lateral side of the cavity such that the resilient gap is reduced to secure the external housing and the internal module at a corresponding position.
- Yet still object of the present invention to provide a transmission cable coiler device, wherein the winding body is a cylindrical ring.
- Still a further object of the present invention to provide a transmission cable coiler device, wherein the resilient gap at the internal module is T-shaped.
- Yet another object of the present invention is to provide a transmission cable coiler device, wherein the winding body is suspended so that the coiler is used as a decorative item.
- Other objects, and advantages will become more apparent in view of the following detailed description in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.
-
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a transmission cable coiler in accordance with the present invention. -
FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view of a transmission cable coiler in accordance with the present invention. -
FIG. 3 is a perspective sectional view of the cable coiler structure in accordance with the present invention. -
FIG. 4 is another section view of the cable coiler in accordance with the present invention. - As shown in
FIGS. 1 to 4 , there is shown a transmission cable coiler which comprises anexternal housing 1,internal module 2, atransmission cable 3, and awinding body 4. - Referring to
FIGS. 1 and 2 , theinternal module 2 has more than onecavity 21 and the lateral sides of thecavity 21 are provided with aprotruded edge 22. The center of thecavity 21 is aresilient gap 23. Thetransmission cable connector 31 is mounted at thecavity 21 such that thetransmission cable 3 is exposed at the outer side. Thewinding body 4 is provided with a cylindrical ring 42 and is mounted at athrough hole 11 at the upper section of theexternal housing 1. After that, thewinding body 4 is tied to the upper section of theinternal module 2, such that theexternal housing 1 and theinternal module 2 are closely matching with each other. - Referring to
FIGS. 3 and 4 , the elastic orresilient gap 23 is T-shaped and is provided within theinternal module 2. When theexternal housing 1 is mounted onto theinternal module 2, the twoprotruded edges 22 at the lateral side of thecavity 21 urge the inner side of theexternal housing 1 such that theelastic gap 23 is at an inward direction and is tapered at the center. Due to a reaction force, theexternal housing 1 and theinternal module 2 and closely matched with each other and are at a corresponding position. Additionally, thetransmission cable 3 is tightly secured and will not be disengaged. - Thus, the transmission cable coiler of the present invention can protect and pretend the connector of the transmission cable from pollution and from external damages. The coiler device is convenient in carrying and has aesthetic appearance.
- While certain novel features of this invention have been shown and described and are pointed out in the annexed claim, it is not intended to be limited to the details above, since it will be understood that various omissions, modifications, substitutions and changes in the forms and details of the device illustrated and in its operation can be made by those skilled in the art without departing in any way from the spirit of the present invention.
