Abstract

A golf ball is easily found with lighting and buzzing. A battery in the golf ball is charged with a current from its induction coil through electromagnetic induction. On charging, the circuit in the golf ball can stop functioning. Thus, life-time of the battery is prolonged while power used is cut down. And, contamination owing to frequently replacing the battery is diminished.

Description

    FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention relates to a golf ball; more particularly, relates to lighting and buzzing a light-emitting unit and a buzzer unit for a period of time to find the golf ball easily and relates to charging a battery unit wirelessly.
  • DESCRIPTION OF THE RELATED ART
  • In a golf field, a golf ball is found at night or in a cloudy day with light from lamps. Yet, the light is the same white as the golf ball, which makes the golf ball found not easily. In addition, when the ball is hit, it often flies too fast to follow its track and so its falling position is hard to be found either.
  • Besides, the golf ball may be hit to fly so high that its white body may be hidden in a background of a white cloud. Hence, when it falls on the ground in a big golf field, its location is not traceable, especially when there are trees or grass. Consequently, a golf ball emitting light or making sound is invented. However, the battery used in the golf ball has limited electricity and so its power is easily used out and its life time is short. Even if a better battery is used to obtain a longer life time, the battery still has to be replaced with a new one after a period of time of use and contamination will be thus formed and its life time is still shortened. Hence, the prior art does not fulfill all users' requests on actual use.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The main purpose of the present invention is to light and buzz a light-emitting unit and a buzzer unit for a period of time to find the golf ball easily and is to charge a battery unit wirelessly.
  • To achieve the above purpose, the present invention is a wireless-charged acousto-optic golf ball, comprising a ball body having a containing space; a gelatinous light-transparent filler located in the containing space; and an electric circuit packaged into one-piece and located in the light-transparent filler, where the electric circuit comprises a magneto electricity generator, a battery unit electrically coupled to the magneto electricity generator, a control unit electrically coupled to the battery unit, a piezoelectric unit electrically coupled to the control unit, a light-emitting unit electrically coupled to the control unit, a buzzer unit electrically coupled to the control unit and a timing unit electrically coupled to the control unit and the battery unit; a control unit and a timing unit are triggered by a hit on the golf ball or a wireless signal from an external emitter to provide power to the light-emitting unit and the buzzer unit by the battery unit to light and buzz for a period of time for finding the golf ball; and the battery unit is charged with a current from its induction coil through electromagnetic induction for prolonging life-time of the battery unit while power used is cut down. Accordingly, a novel wireless-charged acousto-optic golf ball is obtained

  • DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • The following descriptions of the preferred embodiments are provided to understand the features and the structures of the present invention.
  • Please refer to FIG. 1 until FIG. 3, which are views showing a preferred embodiment, an electric circuit, and wireless charging according to the present invention. As shown in the figures, the present invention is a wireless-charged acousto-optic golf ball 1, comprising a ball body 10 having a containing space; a gelatinous light-transparent filler 11 located in the containing space; and an electric circuit 12 which is packaged into one-piece and is located in the light-transparent filler 11. The electric circuit 12 comprises a magneto electricity generator 121, a battery unit 122, a control unit 123, a piezoelectric unit 124, a light-emitting unit 125, a buzzer unit 126 and a timing unit 127.
  • The magneto electricity generator 121 has an induction coil 1211 and is electronically coupled to an external electromagnetic inducting device 2, where the induction coil 1211 is corresponding to an active coil 21 set in the external electromagnetic inducting device 2 to generate an induced current through electromagnetic induction.
  • The battery unit 122 is electrically coupled to the magneto electricity generator 121 to receive the induced current from the magneto electricity generator 121 for providing electricity to the whole golf ball 1.
  • The control unit 123 is electrically coupled to the battery unit 122 and has an antenna 1231. When the golf ball 1 is hit or the antenna 1231 receives a wireless signal from an external emitter 3, the control unit 123 is triggered to receive a timing signal from the timing unit 127 and output a lighting signal and a buzzing signal to the light-emitting unit 125 and the buzzer unit 126 respectively combined with the timing signal.
  • The piezoelectric unit 124 is electrically coupled to the control unit 123 to rectify and filter electricity provided by the battery unit 122 into a stable power source to operate the control unit 123.
  • The light-emitting unit 125 is electrically coupled to the control unit 123 to light on receiving a lighting signal from the control unit 123, where the light-emitting unit 125 is a light-emitting diode to emit a constant light or a twinkling light.
  • The buzzer unit 126 is electrically coupled to the control unit 123 to buzz on receiving a buzzing signal from the control unit 123, where the buzzer unit 126 is a buzzer or a speaker.
  • The timing unit 127 is electrically coupled to the control unit 123 and the battery unit 122 to provide the timing sign a to control the light-emitting unit 125 to light and the buzzer unit 126 to buzz by the control unit 123.
  • The golf ball 1 with concaves 101 on surface according to the present invention has the same size as a general golf ball. However, the ball body 10 can trigger the control unit 123 and the timing unit 127 by the contact force on hitting ball or by the wireless signal from the external emitter 3; and, hence, the battery unit provides electricity to the light-emitting unit 125 and the buzzer unit 126 wirelessly to control the light-emitting unit 125 to light and the buzzer unit 126 to buzz for indicating position of the golf ball 1. Thus, a novel wireless-charged acousto-optic golf ball 1 is obtained.
  • On using the present invention, when the golf ball is hit, the ball body 10 obtains a power source to actuate a circuit. Then, the control unit 123 receives a timing signal by triggering the timing unit 127 and outputs a lighting signal and a buzzing signal to the light-emitting unit 125 and the buzzer unit 126 with a lighting time and a buzzing time, respectively. Thus, the light-emitting unit 125 and the buzzer unit 126 light and buzz for finding the golf ball 1 by watching and listening. The golf ball 1 can thus be easily found and even golf can be played at night. Furthermore, after the light-emitting unit 125 and the buzzer unit 126 light and buzz for a period of time, an operation of the circuit can be stopped for saving power provided by the battery unit 122 and prolonging life-times of the battery unit 122, the light-emitting unit 125 and the buzzer unit 126.
  • In addition, a wireless signal can also be emitted by pressing a button of an external transmitter 3 to be received by the antenna 31 to open an operation of the circuit for the light-emitting unit 125 to light and the buzzer unit 126 to buzz.
  • Moreover, the golf ball is charged with a current from the induction coil 1211. On charging, the golf ball 1 gets close to the external electromagnetic inducting device 2 and then an induced current is outputted through electromagnetic induction to charge the battery unit 122 with a charging driving circuit. In this way, life-time of the battery unit 122 is prolonged and contamination owing to frequently replacing the battery unit 122 is diminished.
  • In another preferred embodiment (not shown in the figures), the electric circuit 12 comprises a magneto electricity generator 121, a battery unit 122, a control unit 123, a piezoelectric unit 124, a light-emitting unit 125 and a timing unit 127. Thus, the control unit 123 and the timing unit 127 are triggered by hitting ball or emitting a wireless signal to provide power to the light-emitting unit 125 by the battery unit 122 to light for indicating position of the golf ball 1.
  • To sum up, the present invention is a wireless-charged acousto-optic golf ball, where a control unit and a timing unit are triggered by a hit on a golf ball or a wireless signal from an external emitter to provide power to a light-emitting unit and a buzzer unit by a battery unit to light and buzz for a period of time for finding the golf ball easily with the lighting and buzzing; and the battery unit is charged with a current from its induction coil through electromagnetic induction for prolonging life-time of the battery unit while power used is cut down.
  • The preferred embodiments herein disclosed are not intended to unnecessarily limit the scope of the invention. Therefore, simple modifications or variations belonging to the equivalent of the scope of the claims and the instructions disclosed herein for a patent are all within the scope of the present invention.

Claims (14)

1. A wireless-charged acousto-optic golf ball, comprising
a ball body, said ball body having a containing space;
a light-transparent filler, said light-transparent filler being gelatinous, said light-transparent filler being located in said containing space;
an electric circuit, said electric circuit being packaged into one-piece, said electric circuit being located in said light-transparent filler, said electric circuit comprising
a magneto electricity generator, said magneto electricity generator having a induction coil;
a battery unit, said battery unit being electrically coupled to said magneto electricity generator;
a control unit, said control unit being electrically coupled to said battery unit, said control unit having an antenna;
a piezoelectric unit, said piezoelectric unit being electrically coupled to said control unit to rectify and filter electricity provided by said battery unit into a stable power source to operate said control unit;
a light-emitting unit, said light-emitting unit being electrically coupled to said control unit to light on obtaining a lighting signal from said control unit;
a buzzer unit, said buzzer unit being electrically coupled to said control unit to buzz on obtaining a buzzing signal from said control unit; and
a timing unit, said timing unit being electrically coupled to said control unit and said battery unit to provide a timing signal,
wherein, when said golf ball is hit, said control unit is triggered to obtain a timing signal from said timing unit and output a lighting signal and a buzzing signal to said light-emitting unit and said buzzer unit respectively combined with said timing signal; and said battery unit provides electricity to said light-emitting unit and said buzzer unit to control said light-emitting unit to light and said buzzer unit to buzz with said lighting signal and said buzzing signal; and
wherein said magneto electricity generator is electronically coupled to an external electromagnetic inducting device, said induction coil of said magneto electricity generator is corresponding to an active coil of said external electromagnetic inducting device, and said magneto electricity generator has a charging driving circuit to obtain an induced current from said induction coil through electromagnetic induction to charge said battery unit.
2. The system according to claim 1,
wherein, when said antenna of said control unit receives a wireless signal from an external emitter, said control unit is triggered to obtain a timing signal from said timing unit and output a lighting signal and a buzzing signal to said light-emitting unit and said buzzer unit respectively combined with said timing signal; and said battery unit provides electricity to said light-emitting unit and said buzzer unit to control said light-emitting unit to light and said buzzer unit to buzz with said lighting signal and said buzzing signal.
3. The system according to claim 1,
wherein said light-emitting unit is a light-emitting diode.
4. The system according to claim 1,
where in said buzzer unit is selected from a group consisting of a buzzer and a speaker.
5. The system according to claim 1, wherein said light-emitting unit and buzzer unit are actuated synchronously.
6. The system according to claim 1,
wherein said light-emitting unit and buzzer unit are actuated asynchronously.
7. The system according to claim 1,
wherein said light-emitting unit emits a light selected from a group consisting of a constant light and a twinkling light.
8. The system according to claim 1,
wherein said lighting signal contains a timing signal for lighting.
9. The system according to claim 1,
wherein said buzzing signal contains a timing signal for buzzing.
10. A wireless-charged acousto-optic golf ball, comprising
a ball body, said ball body having a containing space;
a light-transparent filler, said light-transparent filler being gelatinous, said light-transparent filler being located in said containing space;
an electric circuit, said electric circuit being packaged into one-piece, said electric circuit being located in said light-transparent filler, said electric circuit comprising
a magneto electricity generator, said magneto electricity generator having a induction coil;
a battery unit, said battery unit being electrically coupled to said magneto electricity generator;
a control unit, said control unit being electrically coupled to said battery unit, said control unit having an antenna;
a piezoelectric unit, said piezoelectric unit being electrically coupled to said control unit to rectify and filter electricity provided by said battery unit into a stable power source to operate said control unit;
a light-emitting unit, said light-emitting unit being electrically coupled to said control unit to obtain a lighting signal from said control unit to light;
a buzzer unit, said buzzer unit being electrically coupled to said control unit to obtain a buzzing signal from said control unit to buzz; and
a timing unit, said timing unit being electrically coupled to said control unit and said battery unit,
wherein, when said golf ball is hit, said control unit is triggered to obtain a timing signal from said timing unit and output a lighting signal to said light-emitting unit combined with said timing signal; and said battery unit provides electricity to said light-emitting unit to control said light-emitting unit to light with said lighting signal; and
wherein said magneto electricity generator is electronically coupled to an external electromagnetic inducting device, said induction coil of said magneto electricity generator is corresponding to an active coil of said external electromagnetic inducting device, and said magneto electricity generator has a charging driving circuit to obtain an induced current to charge said battery unit by said induction coil through electromagnetic induction.
11. The system according to claim 1,
wherein, when said antenna of said control unit receives a wireless signal from an external emitter, said control unit is triggered to obtain a timing signal from said timing unit and output a lighting signal to said light-emitting unit combined with said timing signal; and said battery unit provides electricity to said light-emitting unit to control said light-emitting unit to light with said lighting signal.
12. The system according to claim 10,
wherein said light-emitting unit is a light-emitting diode.
13. The system according to claim 10,
where in said light-emitting unit emits a light selected from a group consisting of a constant light and a twinkling light.
14. The system according to claim 10,
wherein said lighting signal contains a timing signal for lighting.
