Abstract

The present invention is a card game that utilizes lottery tickets that can be used in a first card game and a second card game in a one day time period for a plurality of participants. The card games includes a standard playing card deck with individual standard playing cards, a playing card shuffling machine, a playing card shoe and a plurality of playing rules for the card games that dictate prizes, profits, winning criteria and winning odds associated with the games that also determine how the playing card deck, the shuffling machine and the lottery tickets are used in the games.

Description

This application claims priority to U.S. Provisional Application 61/182,732 filed on May 31, 2009, the entire disclosure of which is incorporated by reference.

TECHNICAL FIELD & BACKGROUND

The present invention generally relates to a lottery ticket and a corresponding card game. More specifically, the invention is a lottery ticket for a corresponding card game and a corresponding card game that utilizes the lottery ticket.
It is an object of the invention to provide a lottery ticket for two corresponding card games in the same day. As a conclusion, it will be the first lottery ticket which it will give to everybody the chance to win the prizes and jackpots for two different lotteries each day.
It is an object of the invention to provide a card game that utilizes a lottery ticket for two corresponding card games in the same day.
What is really needed is a lottery ticket for two corresponding card games in the same day and a card game that utilizes the lottery ticket for two corresponding card games in the same day that can generate more card game activity, prizes and profits for the card game.

FIG. 2 illustrates a block diagram and text with various elements of a card game that utilizes a lottery ticket for corresponding card games in the same day, in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention.

FIG. 3 illustrates a table for prizes, odds and criteria for a first game and a second table for prizes, odds and criteria for a second game in the same day, in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF ILLUSTRATIVE EMBODIMENTS

Various aspects of the illustrative embodiments will be described using terms commonly employed by those skilled in the art to convey the substance of their work to others skilled in the art. However, it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that the present invention may be practiced with only some of the described aspects. For purposes of explanation, specific numbers, materials and configurations are set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding of the illustrative embodiments. However, it will be apparent to one skilled in the art that the present invention may be practiced without the specific details. In other instances, well-known features are omitted or simplified in order not to obscure the illustrative embodiments.
Various operations will be described as multiple discrete operations, in turn, in a manner that is most helpful in understanding the present invention. However, the order of description should not be construed as to imply that these operations are necessarily order dependent. In particular, these operations need not be performed in the order of presentation.
The phrase “in one embodiment” is used repeatedly. The phrase generally does not refer to the same embodiment, however, it may. The terms “comprising”, “having” and “including” are synonymous, unless the context dictates otherwise.
FIG. 1 illustrates an overhead perspective view of a lottery ticket for corresponding card games that includes a first card game and a second card game in a one day time period 10, in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention. The lottery ticket for corresponding card games 10 is intended for use in a one day time period that is purchased by a plurality of participants (no number). The lottery ticket for corresponding card games 10 has a generally rectangular front facing 20 with a plurality of playing card indicia 30 for each individual card of a 52 card playing deck 70 (FIG. 2). The playing card indicia 30, pictorially displays each individual playing card number 40, letter 50 and suit 60 of the 52 card playing deck 70. The indicia 30 are arranged and displayed in horizontal sequential order from lowest to highest.
FIG. 2 illustrates a block diagram with various elements of a card game that utilizes a lottery ticket for corresponding card games in the same day 100, in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention. An overall card game that utilizes a lottery ticket for corresponding card games 100 includes a first corresponding card game 80 and a second corresponding card game 90 in a one day time period for a plurality of participants. The playing card deck 70 used in the card game that utilizes a lottery ticket for corresponding card games 100 has a plurality of individual playing cards 72, which are used for the first card game 80 and the second card game 90 or any additional corresponding card games that would be involved with the overall game 100. The overall game 100 also utilizes a playing card shuffling machine 110 used to shuffle the card deck 70 for each corresponding card game 80,90 and a playing card shoe 120 to distribute the playing cards 72 drawn for each corresponding card game 80,90. There are also a plurality of playing rules (no number) for the corresponding card games 80,90 that dictate prizes, profits, winning criteria and winning odds associated with the games 80,90 that also determine how the playing card deck 70, the shuffling machine 80 and the lottery tickets 10 are used in the games 80,90 that are subsequently discussed. The overall game 100 and corresponding games 80,90 use card decks 70 and playing cards 72 from a standard 52 card playing deck. As previously indicated, the overall game 100 includes a first corresponding game 80 and a second corresponding game 90 during a one day time period, although additional corresponding games can also be played during a different time period if desired as previously indicated.
The playing rules of the game allow the lottery ticket 10 to be used to play in the first corresponding game 80 and the second corresponding game 90, if the lottery ticket 10 is bought before the first game 80. The playing rules allow 40% of lottery ticket sales to be profit and 60% of ticket sales to be paid out as prizes in the games 80,90. During play, the card deck 70 is semi-shuffled and placed in the shuffling machine 110 in the first game 80 and the second game 90. The shuffled card deck 70 is then cut in half and is placed in the card shoe 120 for distribution during the first game and the second game.
As illustrated in FIG. 3 in the First Game Prizes and Odds Table 130, a top prize for the first game 80 is $100,000 and all 5 cards drawn must be matched on the lottery ticket 10, a second prize for the first game 80 is $100 and 4 cards of 5 cards drawn must be matched on the lottery ticket 10 and a third prize for the first game 80 is $5 and 3 cards of 5 cards drawn must be matched on the lottery ticket 10. Both the first game 80 and the second game 90 draw 5 cards from the card shoe 120 to determine the winners of the respective game. If there is more than one first prize winner, the prize will be divided equally to the number of first prize winners. For example, if the winning numbers drawn from 5 drawn playing cards are the 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 of clubs but the order of the draw is the 5, 3, 6, 2 and 4 of clubs, the participant who has the 5, 3, 6, 2 and 4 of clubs on their lottery ticket will win the first prize jackpot. The first prize jackpot will be equally split between the number of winners in the game if there is more than one winner and each winner with 4 of 5 cards will get $100 and each winner with 3 of 5 cards will get $5 prize money.
As is illustrated in the Second Game Prizes and Odds Table 140 in FIG. 3, a top prize for the second game 90 is $1,000,000 and all 5 cards drawn must be matched. Therefore, the players need to have all the winning numbers and at the same time each number of this ticket to match the exactly order of the draw on the ticket 10 and a second prize for the second game 90 is $10,000 with a first card drawn matching a first card on the ticket 10. Unlike the first game 80, the lottery ticket 10 can be bought after the first game 80 to be played in the second game 90 before the second game 90 is played. Also, as in the first game 80, the first prize or jackpot will be equally split between the number of winners in the game if there is more than one winner and each participant with one fixed number will get $10,000 each in prize money. In other words, any participant with a matching first card drawn on their ticket 10 will win $10,000 in the second game 90 and that participant also needs to have all of the winning cards drawn on the ticket 10 as well.
The card game that utilizes a lottery ticket for corresponding card games in the same day 100 and the lottery ticket for corresponding card games that includes a first card game and a second card game in a one day time period 10 helps to sell as many lottery tickets as possible each day. Two lottery games can be conducted a day and everybody who will buy the ticket before the first game of the day will have the chance to use the same ticket for the second game of the day too. Also everybody can buy as many tickets they wish for the second game of the day even after the first game took place (when the first game is already finished) having the chance to win the prizes only for the second lottery game of the day. The card game 100 and lottery ticket 10 will unite the players which are playing any type of lottery with the people who are playing the lotteries just because of the huge amount of the jackpot. Instead of having 7 lottery games a week we will have 14 lottery games a week which combines games with better odds for small prizes with games which have smaller odds for bigger prizes. The lottery ticket 10 and card game 100 will give to everybody the chance to win the prizes and jackpots for two different lotteries each day, but only if this ticket was bought before the first game of the day.
While the present invention has been related in terms of the foregoing embodiments, those skilled in the art will recognize that the invention is not limited to the embodiments described. The present invention can be practiced with modification and alteration within the spirit and scope of the appended claims. Thus, the description is to be regarded as illustrative instead of restrictive on the present invention.

Claims

1. A lottery ticket for a plurality of card games that includes a first card game and a second card game in a one day time period purchased by a plurality of participants, comprising:

a generally rectangular front facing with a plurality of playing card indicia for each individual card of a 52 card playing deck.

2. The ticket according to claim 1, wherein said playing card indicia pictorially displays said each individual card number, letter and suit of said 52 card playing deck.

3. The ticket according to claim 2, wherein said indicia are arranged and displayed in horizontal sequential order from lowest to highest.

4. A card game that utilizes a plurality of lottery tickets for a plurality of corresponding card games that includes a first corresponding card game and a second corresponding card game in a one day time period for a plurality of participants, comprising:

a playing card deck with a plurality of individual playing cards, wherein said card deck is used for said card games;

a playing card shuffling machine used to shuffle said card deck used for said card games;

a playing card shoe to distribute said playing cards drawn for said card games; and

a plurality of playing rules for said card games that dictate prizes, profits, winning criteria and winning odds associated with said games that also determine how said playing card deck, said shuffling machine and said lottery tickets are used in said games.

5. The game according to claim 4, wherein said lottery tickets have a generally rectangular front facing with playing card indicia from said playing cards.

6. The game according to claim 5, wherein said playing card indicia pictorially displays said each individual card number, letter and suit of said playing cards.

7. The game according to claim 6, wherein said indicia are arranged and displayed in horizontal sequential order from lowest to highest said card number and said card letter.

8. The game according to claim 4, wherein said card deck and said playing cards are from a standard 52 card playing deck.

9. The game according to claim 4, wherein said playing rules allow said lottery ticket to be played in said first game and in said second game if said ticket is bought before said first game.

10. The game according to claim 4, wherein said playing rules allow 40% of ticket sales to be profit and 60% of ticket sales to be paid out as prizes in said games.

11. The game according to claim 4, wherein said card deck is semi-shuffled and placed in said shuffling machine in said games.

12. The game according to claim 4, wherein said shuffled card deck is cut in half and is placed in said shoe for distribution in said games.

13. The game according to claim 4, wherein a top prize for said first game is $100,000 and all 5 cards drawn must be matched on said ticket, a second prize for said first game is $100 and 4 cards of 5 cards drawn must be matched on said ticket and a third prize for said first game is $5 and 3 cards of 5 cards drawn must be matched on said ticket.

14. The game according to claim 4, wherein a top prize for said second game is $1,000,000 and all 5 cards drawn must be matched in an exact order of said drawn numbers on said ticket and a second prize for said second game is $10,000 with a first said card drawn matching a first said card on said ticket.

15. The game according to claim 14, wherein all winning cards drawn match all cards on said ticket, with said first card drawn matching said first number on said ticket.

16. The game according to claim 4, wherein said ticket can be bought after said first game to be played in said second game before said second game is played.
