The push up fitting of the Wii balance board is applied to fit the Wii game balance board for push up exercises.
Description
- The present utility model relates to a game fitting, and more especially, to a holding rod used for fitting a Nintendo Wii game balance board.
- Nintendo Wii (the name of the new-generation TV game player launched by Nintendo in 2006) game is the favored video game at present. The development of the Wii game at present, a common hardware mainly consists of a mainframe, a display and a controller, wherein the mainframe is equipped with operating system and software, the display can be a household television, the prevalent controller mainly is Wii-Romote (standard controller of Nintendo) and Wii-Nunchuk (Nunchuck controller of Nintendo). The communication between the controller and the mainframe is completed through Bluetooth; the mainframe is further connected with the display. The player plays the game on the display through operating the controller.
- There is a game fitting called balance board among all Nintendo games fittings. The balance board is capable of sensing the pressure generated by the player, then further obtaining the weight, balancing status and other data, then communicating with the Wii mainframe in a wireless way. The player may take various physical fitness activities through the balance board and the software installed in the mainframe, such as push-up, aerobics, hula-hoop, kicking, skateboard and other posture simulation fitness exercises. The system then will detect the player's movement effect and physical conditions via the player's movements.
- Since the Nintendo balance board has a fixed shape, the range and mode of the player's movements are restricted to the sizes and shape of the balance board, while different balance board games require diverse ranges and modes of the movements, such as push up exercises needs handrails for exercising in right place. Currently, there has been no fitting for push up exercises. Therefore, the player may lack sense of reality when simulating push up exercises on the balance board.
- The problem of the present utility model need to solve is: providing a push up fitting of the Wii balance board, wherein the push up fitting of the Wii balance board is used to fit the Wii balance board so as to increase the reality of push up exercises, further improve the effect and funs for the exercise.
- To solve the technical problem mentioned above, the present utility model provides a push up fitting of the Wii balance board; the push up fitting of the Wii balance board comprises a base board and two handles; the base board suits in sizes with the Wii balance board; the base board includes the top surface and the bottom surface; the handles are U-shaped, wherein both ends of them are fixed and configured on the both sides of the top surface for the base board; the four corners of the bottom surface for the base board are provided with the edge projecting over the bottom surface of the base board for circularly wrapping the four corners of the balance board. These facilities is also keeping the push up fitting at the desired position over the Wii balance board and prevent sliding of the push up fitting over the balance board.
- Preferably, the portion between the two handles of the base board is in wasp-waisted shaped to easy the assembling or disassembling this fitting to the balance board.
- Preferably, the handles are wrapped with rubber cover that creates more comfortable feel of touching and is not apt to slipping from the hands.
- Preferably, each U-shaped handle consists of two fixed ends that include the bottom surface for contacting the balance board.
- Preferably, the two neighboring wrapped edges at the bottom of the both ends of the same handle are joined together. This structure is favorable to fix the holding rod to the balance board more securely.
- The present utility model can achieve the following useful purposes:
- Compared with the existing technology, a fitting for increasing the realness of push up exercises is especially designed for the present utility model. Since two handles are provided and the width of handles is fit for the width of shoulder breadth, people can develop chest and arm muscles in a better way and obtain deeper push up exercises than on the ground, thus realizing more desirable exercise effect and less pressure borne by the wrists.
-
