Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a bag and, more particularly, to a waterproof bag.
- 2. Description of the Related Art
- A conventional waterproof bag comprises a bag body having an inner portion provided with a receiving space and having a periphery provided with a through hole connected to the receiving space, a flexible strip mounted on an open end of the bag body, a fastener mounted on the flexible strip, and an air valve mounted in the through hole of the bag body and connected to the receiving space of the bag body. The receiving space of the bag body can be used to receive a user's smaller articles, such as a watch, a cell phone and the like. In operation, when the bag body is compressed, the air in the receiving space of the bag body is compressed to flow through the air valve and is drained outwardly from the through hole of the bag body so as to reduce the whole volume of the bag body. However, the air valve does not have an anti-reverse function to prevent the ambient air from entering the receiving space of the bag body so that the ambient air easily flows through the air valve into the receiving space of the bag body.
- In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a waterproof bag, comprising a bag body having an inner portion provided with a receiving space and having a periphery provided with a through hole connected to the receiving space, a mounting seat mounted in the receiving space of the bag body and having an inner portion provided with a mounting chamber which is connected to the through hole of the bag body and has a bottom wall provided with a plurality of connecting holes connected to the receiving space of the bag body, a control plate movably mounted in the mounting chamber of the mounting seat and movable to seal the connecting holes of the mounting seat and to interrupt a connection between the connecting holes and the mounting chamber of the mounting seat, an outer cover mounted on the bag body and having a surface provided with a plurality of drain holes connected to the through hole of the bag body, and a filter mounted on the bag body and disposed between the through hole of the bag body and the drain holes of the outer cover.
- The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a waterproof bag having a oneway air draining function.
- According to the primary objective of the present invention, the control plate co-operates with the mounting seat to function as a oneway valve which only drains the air in the receiving space of the bag body and can prevent the ambient air from entering the receiving space of the bag body so as to facilitate the user compressing and reducing the volume of the bag body.
- According to another objective of the present invention, the separation bars of the mounting seat separate the connecting holes of the mounting seat from the bag body to prevent the articles in the receiving space of the bag body from seal the connecting holes of the mounting seat, so that the air in the receiving space of the bag body can be drained outward quickly and conveniently.
- According to a further objective of the present invention, the filter provides a filtering function to prevent impurities, such as sands, dusts and the like, from entering the mounting chamber of the mounting seat and the receiving space of the bag body.
- Further benefits and advantages of the present invention will become apparent after a careful reading of the detailed description with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.

In such a manner, thecontrol plate 3 co-operates with themounting seat 21 to function as a oneway valve which drains the air in thereceiving space 14 of thebag body 1 and prevents the ambient air from entering thereceiving space 14 of thebag body 1. - Accordingly, the
control plate 3 co-operates with themounting seat 21 to function as a oneway valve which only drains the air in thereceiving space 14 of thebag body 1 and can prevent the ambient air from entering thereceiving space 14 of thebag body 1 so as to facilitate the user compressing and reducing the volume of thebag body 1. In addition, theseparation bars 214 of themounting seat 21 separate the connectingholes 212 of themounting seat 21 from thebag body 1 to prevent the articles in thereceiving space 14 of thebag body 1 from seal the connectingholes 212 of themounting seat 21, so that the air in thereceiving space 14 of thebag body 1 can be drained outward quickly and conveniently. Further, thefilter 42 provides a filtering function to prevent impurities, such as sands, dusts and the like, from entering themounting chamber 211 of themounting seat 21 and thereceiving space 14 of thebag body 1. - Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment(s) as mentioned above, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. It is, therefore, contemplated that the appended claim or claims will cover such modifications and variations that fall within the true scope of the invention.
