Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a display box, especially to a hand tool display box that provides better display and storage effects.
- 2. Description of the Prior Arts
- Hand tool display boxes are used to display and store hand tools, such as screwdrivers, wrenches or the like. A conventional hand tool display box comprises a base and a cover. The base has multiple recesses to receive hand tools. The cover corresponds to and covers the base to prevent the hand tools from falling or being lost.
- However, the recesses of the base do not have any positioning structure to securely store the hand tools. The hand tools will easily fall off when the cover is detached from the base. Accordingly, it is inconvenient for users to take the hand tools from the conventional hand tool display box and another new storage box must be prepared if users need a better storage effect.
- To overcome the shortcomings, the present invention provides a hand tool display box to mitigate or obviate the aforementioned problems.
- The main object of the present invention is to provide a hand tool display box that provides better display and storage effects.
- The hand tool display box in accordance with the present invention comprises a bracket and multiple storing mounts. The bracket has a top edge, multiple mounting recesses and a hanging panel. The mounting recesses are formed in the bracket at intervals and each mounting recess has a recess rear surface, two opposite recess side surfaces, a positioning block and two first locking parts. Each recess side surface has a side edge being adjacent to the recess rear surface. The positioning block protrudes from the recess rear surface. The first locking parts are formed on the recess side surfaces. The hanging panel is connected to the top edge of the bracket and has a hanging hole to facilitate hanging the display box on a display rack. The storing mounts are connected pivotally to the bracket and each storing mount covers a corresponding mounting recess of the bracket and has two second locking parts and a clamping part. The second locking parts engage the first locking parts of the corresponding mounting recess. The clamping part is used for holding a hand tool. Therefore, the multiple storing mounts can hold different kinds of hand tools and users can conveniently take out a needed hand tool by opening one storing mount relative to the bracket.
- Other objectives, advantages and novel features of the invention will become more apparent from the following detailed description when taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

Themounting recesses 11 are formed longitudinally in thebracket 10 at intervals and each mounting recess 11 has a recessrear surface 110, two oppositerecess side surfaces 111, aprotrusion 112, apositioning block 113 and twofirst locking parts 114. The recessrear surface 110 has a top edge. Eachrecess side surface 111 has a side edge being adjacent to the recessrear surface 110. Theprotrusion 112 protrudes from the recessrear surface 110. Thepositioning block 113 protrudes from theprotrusion 112. Thefirst locking parts 114 are formed on lower sections of therecess side surfaces 111 distal from the recessrear surface 110. In a preferred embodiment, thefirst locking parts 114 are recesses. - With further reference to
FIGS. 4 and 5 , thepositioning ribs 12 are respectively formed on and protrude from the top edge of thebracket 10. Eachpositioning rib 12 has a side surface and apositioning recess 120 formed in the side surface of thepositioning rib 12. The hangingpanel 13 is connected to the top edge of thebracket 10, is foldable relative to thebracket 10 and has an upper section, a bottom edge, ahanging hole 131 and twopositioning openings 132. The hanginghole 131 is formed through the upper section of the hangingpanel 13 to allow the display box to be hung on a display rack. Thepositioning openings 132 are respectively formed through the bottom edge of the hangingpanel 13 to permit thepositioning ribs 12 to be received therethrough. Each positioning opening 132 has an opening surface and aboss 133 protruding from the opening surface. When the display box is hung, thepositioning ribs 12 are received in thepositioning openings 132 of thehanging panel 13 and thebosses 133 of the hangingpanel 13 engage thepositioning recesses 120 of thepositioning ribs 12. With reference toFIG. 6 , when thehanging panel 13 is folded relative to thebracket 10 and is adjacent to the rear surface of thebracket 10, thepositioning ribs 12 depart from thepositioning openings 132 of thehanging panel 13 so that an area of the display box is reduced and to store or carry the display box is convenient. - With reference to

In the preferred embodiment, theclamping part 23 has twoopposite holding panels 230. Theholding panels 230 are formed on and protrude from the rear surface of thefront panel 22 and eachholding panel 230 is U-shaped and has an internal surface and twoclaws 231. The internal surfaces of the twoopposite holding panels 230 face each other and each internal surface has a front edge and a rear edge. Theclaws 231 are respectively formed on and protrude from the front edge and the rear edge of the internal surface of theholding panel 230. Theabutting panel 24 is formed on and protrudes vertically downward from the bottom surface of thetop panel 21. - With reference to
FIG. 2 , the storing mounts 20 are used to holdhand tools 40. Eachhand tool 40 has ahandle 41 and afunction part 42. Thehandle 41 has anannular groove 410. When the storingmount 20 is opened relative to thebracket 10, thehandle 41 of thehand tool 40 can be inserted in the clampingpart 23 to make thehandle 41 of thehand tool 40 be clamped between the holdingpanels 230 and an end surface of thehandle 41 abut the abuttingpanel 24. With reference toFIGS. 1 , 3, 4 and 7, the storingmount 20 is then closed relative to thebracket 10 to make theannular groove 410 of thehandle 41 engage thepositioning block 113 of thebracket 10 and thesecond locking parts 220 of the storingmount 20 engage thefirst locking parts 114 of thebracket 10 so that thehand tool 40 can be securely mounted in the clampingpart 23 and is prevented from falling. Meanwhile, thefunction parts 42 of thehand tools 40 protrude out of the display box so users can clearly know about types and sizes of thehand tools 40 and easily select the needed one.
