Abstract
An exercise sheet for exercising may include a flexible first sheet and a flexible second sheet connected to the flexible first sheet. The flexible first sheet may be formed from Lycra and the flexible second sheet may be formed from neoprene. The flexible second sheet may include a laminated surface. The first flexible sheet may include a retaining cord. The retaining cord may include a cord stop to adjust the length of the retaining cord.
Description
- The present invention relates to sheets and more particularly to an exercise sheet.
- Exercise pads are known in the prior art. An exercise pad provides a area that a user can employ during exercises. The pad provides a space for exercising which provides a relatively clean surface and avoids contact with the gym floor. The pad provides some insulation and cushioning for exercising. The pad needs to be relatively stable without movement and without any form of attachment to the floor.
- An exercise sheet for exercising may include a flexible first sheet and a flexible second sheet connected to the flexible first sheet.
- The flexible first sheet may be formed from Lycra and the flexible second sheet may be formed from neoprene.
- The flexible second sheet may include a laminated surface.
- The first flexible sheet may include a retaining cord.
- The retaining cord may include a cord stop to adjust the length of the retaining cord.

shield sheet 100 may include a firstflexible sheet 101 and a secondflexible sheet 103 as illustrated inFIG. 1 . - The first
flexible sheet 103 may include a frontfirst surface 111 which may be opposed to a backfirst surface 113 and may be connected to a pair of opposing sidefirst surfaces 109, a topfirst surface 105 and a bottomfirst surface 107, the topfirst surface 105 may be connected to the pair of opposing sidefirst surfaces 109, the frontfirst surface 111, and the backfirst surface 113, the bottomfirst surface 107 may be connected to the pair of opposing sidefirst surfaces 109, the frontfirst surface 111 and the backfirst surface 113, theback front surface 113 may be connected to the topfirst surface 105, the bottomfirst surface 107, and the sidefirst surface 109, and the pair of sidefirst surfaces 109 may be connected to the topfirst surface 105, the bottomfirst surface 107, frontfirst surface 111 and the backfirst surface 113. The firstflexible sheet 101 may be solid and may be sufficiently flexible in order to stretch in each direction and may be sport wicking. The firstflexible sheet 101 may include an antibacterial agent in the fibers of the fabric of the firstflexible sheet 101 which may be formed from Lycra or other appropriate material. -
FIG. 2 illustrates a perspective view of the secondflexible sheet 103. The secondflexible sheet 103 may include a frontsecond surface 131 which may be opposed to a backsecond surface 133 and may be connected to a pair of opposing sidesecond surfaces 129, atop second surface 125 and a bottomsecond surface 127, thetop second surface 125 may be connected to the pair of opposing sidesecond surfaces 129, the frontsecond surface 131, and the backsecond surface 133, the bottomsecond surface 127 may be connected to the pair of opposing sidesecond surfaces 129, the frontsecond surface 131 and the backsecond surface 133, theback front surface 133 may be connected to thetop second surface 125, the bottomsecond surface 127, and the sidesecond surface 129, and the pair of sidesecond surfaces 129 may be connected to thetop second surface 125, the bottomsecond surface 127, frontsecond surface 131 and the backsecond surface 133. The secondflexible sheet 103 may be solid and may be a L foam, closed cell water grade neoprene or other appropriate material. The backsecond surface 113 may be laminated in nylon or other appropriate material in order to assist in stabilizing the secondflexible sheet 103 and the frontsecond surface 131 may be raw (untreated). -
FIG. 3 illustrates a perspective view of the firstflexible sheet 101 being connected to the secondflexible sheet 103. - The first
flexible sheet 103 may include a frontfirst surface 111 which may be opposed to a backfirst surface 113 and may be connected to a pair of opposing sidefirst surfaces 109, a topfirst surface 105 and a bottomfirst surface 107, the topfirst surface 105 may be connected to the pair of opposing sidefirst surfaces 109, the frontfirst surface 111, and the backfirst surface 113, the bottomfirst surface 107 may be connected to the pair of opposing sidefirst surfaces 109, the frontfirst surface 111 and the backfirst surface 113, the backfirst surface 113 may be connected to the topfirst surface 105, the bottomfirst surface 107, and the sidefirst surface 109, and the pair of sidefirst surfaces 109 may be connected to the topfirst surface 105, the bottomfirst surface 107, frontfirst surface 111 and the backfirst surface 103. - The second
flexible sheet 103 may include a frontsecond surface 131 which may be opposed to a backsecond surface 133 and may be connected to a pair of opposing sidesecond surfaces 129, atop second surface 125 and a bottomsecond surface 127, thetop second surface 125 may be connected to the pair of opposing sidesecond surfaces 129, the frontsecond surface 131, and the backsecond surface 133, the bottomsecond surface 127 may be connected to the pair of opposing sidesecond surfaces 129, the frontsecond surface 131 and the backsecond surface 133, theback front surface 133 may be connected to thetop second surface 125, the bottomsecond surface 127, and the sidesecond surface 129, and the pair of sidesecond surfaces 129 may be connected to thetop second surface 125, the bottomsecond surface 127, frontsecond surface 131 and the backsecond surface 133. -
FIG. 4 illustrates a side view of theshield sheet 100 of the present invention and illustrates the sidefirst sheet 109 and the sidesecond sheet 129. The firstflexible sheet 101 may include achannel 105 which may extend around the periphery of the firstflexible sheet 101 and may be formed by extending the firstflexible sheet 101 over and around the secondflexible sheet 103 and the channel may have aaperture 107. Aflexible retaining cord 104 may extend through thechannel 105 and may extend through theaperture 107 so the user may pull theretaining cord 105 through theaperture 107 to gather thefirst sheet 101 and thesecond sheet 103 around an object such as a piece of gym equipment in order to provide a cushion between the gym equipment and user. The length of theflexible retaining cord 104 may be extended or reduced by acord stop 106. -
FIG. 5 illustrates a front view of the frontfirst surface 111 and illustrates the topfirst surface 105, the bottomfirst surface 107 and the sidefirst surface 109. Additionally,FIG. 5 illustrates theretaining cord 104 and thecord stop 106 to adjust the length of theretaining cord 104. -
FIG. 6 illustrates a front view of the secondflexible sheet 103 and illustrates the topsecond surface 125, the bottomsecond surface 127, the sidesecond surface 129 and the frontsecond surface 131. -
FIG. 7 illustrates a back view of the backfirst surface 113 and illustrates the topfirst surface 105, the bottomfirst surface 107 and the sidefirst surface 109. -
FIG. 8 illustrates a back view of the secondflexible sheet 103 and illustrates the topsecond surface 125, the bottomsecond surface 127, the sidesecond surface 129 and the backsecond surface 133. -

- While the invention is susceptible to various modifications and alternative forms, specific embodiments thereof have been shown by way of example in the drawings and are herein described in detail. Claims (4)
1) An exercise sheet for exercising, comprising:
a flexible first sheet;
a flexible second sheet connected to the flexible first sheet;
wherein the flexible first sheet is formed from Lycra and may include and an antibacterial agent and the flexible second sheet is formed from neoprene.
2) An exercise sheet for exercising as in claim 1 , wherein the flexible second sheet includes a laminated surface.
3) An exercise sheet for exercising as in claim 1 , wherein the first flexible sheet includes a retaining cord.
4) An exercise sheet for exercising as in claim 3 , wherein the retaining cord includes a cord stop to adjust the length of the retaining cord.
