Abstract

An exercise sheet for exercising may include a flexible first sheet and a flexible second sheet connected to the flexible first sheet. The flexible first sheet may be formed from Lycra and the flexible second sheet may be formed from neoprene. The flexible second sheet may include a laminated surface. The first flexible sheet may include a retaining cord. The retaining cord may include a cord stop to adjust the length of the retaining cord.

Description

    FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention relates to sheets and more particularly to an exercise sheet.
  • BACKGROUND
  • Exercise pads are known in the prior art. An exercise pad provides a area that a user can employ during exercises. The pad provides a space for exercising which provides a relatively clean surface and avoids contact with the gym floor. The pad provides some insulation and cushioning for exercising. The pad needs to be relatively stable without movement and without any form of attachment to the floor.
  • SUMMARY
  • An exercise sheet for exercising may include a flexible first sheet and a flexible second sheet connected to the flexible first sheet.
  • The flexible first sheet may be formed from Lycra and the flexible second sheet may be formed from neoprene.
  • The flexible second sheet may include a laminated surface.
  • The first flexible sheet may include a retaining cord.
  • The retaining cord may include a cord stop to adjust the length of the retaining cord.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION
  • The shield sheet 100 may include a first flexible sheet 101 and a second flexible sheet 103 as illustrated in FIG. 1.
  • The first flexible sheet 103 may include a front first surface 111 which may be opposed to a back first surface 113 and may be connected to a pair of opposing side first surfaces 109, a top first surface 105 and a bottom first surface 107, the top first surface 105 may be connected to the pair of opposing side first surfaces 109, the front first surface 111, and the back first surface 113, the bottom first surface 107 may be connected to the pair of opposing side first surfaces 109, the front first surface 111 and the back first surface 113, the back front surface 113 may be connected to the top first surface 105, the bottom first surface 107, and the side first surface 109, and the pair of side first surfaces 109 may be connected to the top first surface 105, the bottom first surface 107, front first surface 111 and the back first surface 113. The first flexible sheet 101 may be solid and may be sufficiently flexible in order to stretch in each direction and may be sport wicking. The first flexible sheet 101 may include an antibacterial agent in the fibers of the fabric of the first flexible sheet 101 which may be formed from Lycra or other appropriate material.
  • FIG. 2 illustrates a perspective view of the second flexible sheet 103. The second flexible sheet 103 may include a front second surface 131 which may be opposed to a back second surface 133 and may be connected to a pair of opposing side second surfaces 129, a top second surface 125 and a bottom second surface 127, the top second surface 125 may be connected to the pair of opposing side second surfaces 129, the front second surface 131, and the back second surface 133, the bottom second surface 127 may be connected to the pair of opposing side second surfaces 129, the front second surface 131 and the back second surface 133, the back front surface 133 may be connected to the top second surface 125, the bottom second surface 127, and the side second surface 129, and the pair of side second surfaces 129 may be connected to the top second surface 125, the bottom second surface 127, front second surface 131 and the back second surface 133. The second flexible sheet 103 may be solid and may be a L foam, closed cell water grade neoprene or other appropriate material. The back second surface 113 may be laminated in nylon or other appropriate material in order to assist in stabilizing the second flexible sheet 103 and the front second surface 131 may be raw (untreated).
  • FIG. 3 illustrates a perspective view of the first flexible sheet 101 being connected to the second flexible sheet 103.
  • The first flexible sheet 103 may include a front first surface 111 which may be opposed to a back first surface 113 and may be connected to a pair of opposing side first surfaces 109, a top first surface 105 and a bottom first surface 107, the top first surface 105 may be connected to the pair of opposing side first surfaces 109, the front first surface 111, and the back first surface 113, the bottom first surface 107 may be connected to the pair of opposing side first surfaces 109, the front first surface 111 and the back first surface 113, the back first surface 113 may be connected to the top first surface 105, the bottom first surface 107, and the side first surface 109, and the pair of side first surfaces 109 may be connected to the top first surface 105, the bottom first surface 107, front first surface 111 and the back first surface 103.
  • The second flexible sheet 103 may include a front second surface 131 which may be opposed to a back second surface 133 and may be connected to a pair of opposing side second surfaces 129, a top second surface 125 and a bottom second surface 127, the top second surface 125 may be connected to the pair of opposing side second surfaces 129, the front second surface 131, and the back second surface 133, the bottom second surface 127 may be connected to the pair of opposing side second surfaces 129, the front second surface 131 and the back second surface 133, the back front surface 133 may be connected to the top second surface 125, the bottom second surface 127, and the side second surface 129, and the pair of side second surfaces 129 may be connected to the top second surface 125, the bottom second surface 127, front second surface 131 and the back second surface 133.
  • FIG. 4 illustrates a side view of the shield sheet 100 of the present invention and illustrates the side first sheet 109 and the side second sheet 129. The first flexible sheet 101 may include a channel 105 which may extend around the periphery of the first flexible sheet 101 and may be formed by extending the first flexible sheet 101 over and around the second flexible sheet 103 and the channel may have a aperture 107. A flexible retaining cord 104 may extend through the channel 105 and may extend through the aperture 107 so the user may pull the retaining cord 105 through the aperture 107 to gather the first sheet 101 and the second sheet 103 around an object such as a piece of gym equipment in order to provide a cushion between the gym equipment and user. The length of the flexible retaining cord 104 may be extended or reduced by a cord stop 106.
  • FIG. 5 illustrates a front view of the front first surface 111 and illustrates the top first surface 105, the bottom first surface 107 and the side first surface 109. Additionally, FIG. 5 illustrates the retaining cord 104 and the cord stop 106 to adjust the length of the retaining cord 104.
  • FIG. 6 illustrates a front view of the second flexible sheet 103 and illustrates the top second surface 125, the bottom second surface 127, the side second surface 129 and the front second surface 131.
  • FIG. 7 illustrates a back view of the back first surface 113 and illustrates the top first surface 105, the bottom first surface 107 and the side first surface 109.
  • FIG. 8 illustrates a back view of the second flexible sheet 103 and illustrates the top second surface 125, the bottom second surface 127, the side second surface 129 and the back second surface 133.
  • FIG. 9 illustrates a top view of the first flexible sheet 101 and the second flexible sheet 103 and illustrates the top first surface 105 and the top second surface 125.

Claims (4)

1) An exercise sheet for exercising, comprising:
a flexible first sheet;
a flexible second sheet connected to the flexible first sheet;
wherein the flexible first sheet is formed from Lycra and may include and an antibacterial agent and the flexible second sheet is formed from neoprene.
2) An exercise sheet for exercising as in claim 1, wherein the flexible second sheet includes a laminated surface.
3) An exercise sheet for exercising as in claim 1, wherein the first flexible sheet includes a retaining cord.
4) An exercise sheet for exercising as in claim 3, wherein the retaining cord includes a cord stop to adjust the length of the retaining cord.
