Abstract

An improved practice net includes a net body comprising a bottom net and a side net having a bottom connecting with the bottom net, wherein the side net has a sleeve portion at a central region of each of two lateral sides of the side net and at a central region of a back side of the side net, wherein the net body has a fastener at an end of each of the sleeve portions; three supporting rods each comprising multiple short rods connected in series with each other or one another by means of an elastic rope so as to form a foldable rod, wherein the sleeve portions of the side net receive the supporting rods and the supporting rods each have an end secured to one of the fasteners; and a fork junction connecting with the other ends of the three supporting rods.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE DISCLOSURE
  • a) Field of the Disclosure
  • The invention relates to an improved practice net convenient to collecting practice balls particularly for baseball, golf or soccer practitioners.
  • b) Brief Description of the Related Art
  • With the improvement of living standards, more and more casual sports, such as baseball, golf, tennis or golf, are widely accepted. Every year tens of thousands of golf hitter spend considerable amount of time improving to swing a golf ball. Playing a golf game in a golf field is the most enjoyable way to improve golf skills. However, playing a golf game is not easy but bothersome, and considerable time and money have to be spent.
  • In order to solve the above problems, a structure having a frame and net, used close to a golf hitter has been developed. The structure includes a circular or quadrangular frame and a mesh-like tissue or material attached to the periphery of the frame. Typically, the frame is integrally formed with a rectangular-shaped frame having a right-angle turning rod. However, the frame is relatively expensive and has a relatively-large volume when the frame is put away. Accordingly, the structure is worth of improvements.
  • SUMMARY OF THE DISCLOSURE
  • An objective of the invention is to provide an improved practice net with a low cost and with a reduced volume when the net is put away.
  • In order to achieve the above objective, in accordance with the present invention, an improved practice net includes a net body comprising a bottom net and a side net having a bottom connecting with the bottom net, wherein the side net has a sleeve portion at a central region of each of two lateral sides of the side net and at a central region of a back side of the side net, wherein the net body has a fastener at an end of each of the sleeve portions; three supporting rods each comprising multiple short rods connected in series with each other or one another by means of an elastic rope so as to form a foldable rod, wherein the sleeve portions of the side net receive the supporting rods and the supporting rods each have an end secured to one of the fasteners; and a fork junction connecting with the other ends of the three supporting rods. Thereby, the net body can be supported by the three supporting rods so as to form a collecting net with an inlet and an accommodating space.
  • In an embodiment, the bottom net of the net body is triangular and the side net is an arcuate net with a relatively long length, wherein the arcuate net has a bottom connecting with two neighboring sides of the triangular bottom net.
  • In an embodiment, the sleeve portion has ⅔ of the length of the net body and is provided with openings at two ends of the sleeve portion.
  • In an embodiment, the side net of the net body is provided with two fixing holes at top portions of the two respective lateral sides of the side net, configured for fixing with a target.
  • In an embodiment, each junction of the fork junction has a positioning portion corresponding to one of positioning portions at the other ends of the three supporting rods.
  • In an embodiment, each of the fasteners of the net body comprises a positioning pin.

  • While certain embodiments are depicted in the drawings, one skilled in the art will appreciate that the embodiments depicted are illustrative and that variations of those shown, as well as other embodiments described herein, may be envisioned and practiced within the scope of the present disclosure.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • Illustrative embodiments are now described. Other embodiments may be used in addition or instead. Details that may be apparent or unnecessary may be omitted to save space or for a more effective presentation. Conversely, some embodiments may be practiced without all of the details that are disclosed.
  • Referring to FIG. 1, in according with the present invention, a practice net 1 includes a net body comprising a triangular bottom net 11 and an arcuate side net 12 having a bottom connecting with two neighboring sides of the bottom net 11, wherein the side net 12 has a sleeve portion 121 at a central region of each of two lateral sides of the side net 12 and at a central region of a back side of the side net 12, wherein the sleeve portion 121 has ⅔ of the length of the net body and is provided with openings at two ends of the sleeve portion, wherein the net body has a fastener 122 at an end of each of the sleeve portions 121; three supporting rods 13 each comprising multiple short rods connected in series with each other or one another by means of an elastic rope so as to form a foldable rod, wherein the sleeve portions 121 of the side net 12 receive the supporting rods 13 and the supporting rods each have an end secured to one of the fasteners 122; and a fork junction 14 connecting with the other ends of the three supporting rods 13. Referring to FIG. 2, the fork junction 14 includes three sleeves having ends connecting with one another and having angles of 120 degrees between neighboring two thereof. Each of the three sleeves of the fork junction 14 receives an end of one of the three supporting rods 13 passing through the sleeve portions 121 of the side net 12. Each of the three supporting rods 13 has the other end fixed with one of the fasteners 122. Thereby, the side net 12 can be supported by the three supporting rods 13 so as to form a collecting net with an inlet and an accommodating space.
  • Besides, two fixing portions 123 provided with fixing holes 123 are arranged at top portions of the sleeve portions 121 at the two respective lateral sides of the side net 12 and can be fixed with a target 124 by means of fixing ropes extending from two corners of the target 124. Accordingly, a user can aim at the target.
  • Referring to FIG. 3, the three sleeves of the fork junction 14 each include a positioning portion 141, which is a positioning hole in this embodiment, corresponding to a positioning portion 131, which is a positioning rod internally having an electric force in this embodiment, at a fixing end of one of the supporting rods 13. The supporting rods 13 can be fixed with the fork junction 14 when the positioning rods are fixed with the positioning holes. In order to prevent the practice net 1 from being moved by balls, the three fasteners 122 include three positioning pins 15 and thus the three fasteners 122 can be fixed to the ground by means of the three positioning pins 15. Thereby, the practice net 1 can be firmly fixed.
  • Referring to FIGS. 4, 5 and 6, the net body is supported by the connection of the three supporting rods 13 and the fork junction 14 and positioned by the three positioning pins 15, so the practice net 1 can be firmly fixed. Furthermore, the target 124 can be fixed with the fixing portions 123, and thus a user 6 can practice the accuracy of golf, soccer or baseball.

  • The scope of protection is limited solely by the claims, and such scope is intended and should be interpreted to be as broad as is consistent with the ordinary meaning of the language that is used in the claims when interpreted in light of this specification and the prosecution history that follows, and to encompass all structural and functional equivalents thereof.

Claims (6)

What is claimed is:
1. An improved practice net comprising:
a net body comprising a bottom net and a side net having a bottom connecting with the bottom net, wherein the side net has a sleeve portion at a central region of each of two lateral sides of the side net and at a central region of a back side of the side net, wherein the net body has a fastener at an end of each of the sleeve portions;
three supporting rods each comprising multiple short rods connected in series with each other or one another by means of an elastic rope so as to form a foldable rod, wherein the sleeve portions of the side net receive the supporting rods and the supporting rods each have an end secured to one of the fasteners; and
a fork junction connecting with the other ends of the three supporting rods, whereby the net body is supported by the three supporting rods so as to form a collecting net with an inlet and an accommodating space.
2. The improved practice net of claim 1, wherein the bottom net of the net body is triangular and the side net comprises an arcuate net with a relatively long length, wherein the arcuate net has a bottom connecting with two neighboring sides of the triangular bottom net.
3. The improved practice net of claim 1, wherein the sleeve portion has ⅔ of the length of the net body and is provided with openings at two ends of the sleeve portion.
4. The improved practice net of claim 1, wherein the side net of the net body is provided with two fixing holes at top portions of the two respective lateral sides of the side net, configured for fixing with a target.
5. The improved practice net of claim 1, wherein each junction of the fork junction has a positioning portion corresponding to one of positioning portions at the other ends of the three supporting rods.
6. The improved practice net of claim 1, wherein each of the fasteners of the net body comprises a positioning pin.
