Description

    TECHNICAL FIELD
  • Some aspects generally relate to (and are not limited to) a cover assembly for a face-shield bracket assembly and a safety hat (and method therefor).
  • BACKGROUND
  • A safety hat is a type of helmet predominantly used in workplace environments such as industrial or construction sites to protect the head of the user from injury due to falling objects, impact with other objects, debris, rain, and/or electric shock. Suspension bands (positioned inside the helmet) spread the helmet's weight and the force of any impact over the top of the head of the user. Some helmet shells have a mid-line reinforcement ridge to improve impact resistance. Unfortunately, known existing safety hats do not prevent debris from striking the eye of the user (resulting in injury and/or lost work productivity).
