IMPROVEMENT IN SLEEVE-BUTTONS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 210,397, dated December 3, 1878; application filed May 16, 1878.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, LEON BARRE, of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented a new and useful Improvement in Sleeve'Buttons; and hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part of the specification.
My improvement consists of a device combined with the button and its shank, by reason of which the sleeve-button can be more readily inserted into the holes of the cuff, and which will retain the ends of such cuff together in a smooth and even manner, while at the same time such device will not be any more in the way than an ordinary sleeve-button back.
In the figure is seen a perspective represeutation of a sleeve-button constructed according to my improvement.
